Tranquille, North Of Kamloops, B. C. Lights Move Apart From One Another

Date: Early 1970's. Time: Evening.
My grandparents had a sighting that I was not aware of. It was in the early 1970's andthey were driving home to Tranquille. My sister said they saw two lights side by side flying west away from the airport. At first, they thought they were seeing the wingtip lights from a plane that had just taken off from the airport, but after about a minute or so, the lights kept moving west, but started moving away from one another while still flying west, i.e. the north "wingtip" light started veering north while the south "wingtip" light veered south. The lights eventually disappeared. I asked her if the lights were flashing like an aircraft wing light but she said no and they were just solid white lights.

Prince George British Columbia An Orange Ball Traveling Towards Witnesses
Date: July 7, 1972. Time: 12:45 a.m.
Location of Sighting: Prince George, B.C.
Number of witnesses: 2. Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Orange ball.
Both my former wife and I saw a orange ball come toward us and it flash before our eyes. I thought I was nuts. I asked her if she had seen it as I had. She said that she had. We were driving home to my parents house and she was sitting in the car right beside me. I looked up and I saw this orange ball coming out of the sky towards us, then a flash and then it was gone.

Towards Aylmer, Ontario Cylinder And Black Dot Observed
Date: July 22, 1978. Time: 1:30 p.m.
Location of Sighting: Eastern sky driving towards Aylmer.
Number of witnesses: 2. Number of objects: 2
Shape of objects: Cylindrical, and white, tiny black circle.
We were driving admiring the white clouds in the blue sky, when an object caught my eye. It looked like a flat cloud, it was sitting totally still. I told my boyfriend to look, because it looked kind of weird. We were both staring at it when it just completely vanished, we both let out a big whoa, then right where it vanished was a tiny black dot that was moving around behind a cloud, at which time the dot disappeared and the cylinder reappeared. It vanished again, and that was it.

Clovis, California A Triangular Formation Of Oval Shaped Lights
Date: February 1995. Time: Approx: 10:30 p.m.
Location of Sighting: Along CA Hwy 168, 20 miles E of Clovis, CA.
Number of witnesses: 1. Number of objects: 6
Shape of objects: Oval-shaped lights, very white.
It was in Feb of 1995, but I can't remember the exact date (unusual for a history major). I was returning home from a Wednesday night class. and had pulled over on Highway. 168 to let a couple of cars go by. I checked to see if there was no traffic, and then just looked up, and saw a formation of lights. Each was oval-shaped, and very white. The best analogy I can give is the brightest white lights at a baseball or football stadium, but these were brighter. There were six of them in a triangular formation: One at the apex, then two right behind, and then three at the base. I turned off the car to see if there was no sound, and there was none. I didn't remove the key so the lights and clock would still work and noted the time-10:30 PM (PST). The formation was several hundred feet above, and each light was about the size of a dime held at arm's length.
The formation was flying in a N to S direction, and the whole sighting took about 2 minutes. I noted the time when I restarted the car as 10:32. When I got home at 10:55.
I don't know what these were, but they were not F-16s from Fresno ANG Base, or F/A-18s from NAS Lemoore, nor any kind of commercial aircraft. Weather was clear and cool (about 45 or 50 F) There was no interference with the car's engine or lights before I turned the ignition off, and it started up again normally.
 To answer your questions:
1) The lights stayed in formation at all times. And yes, they did fly right over my location.

2) No tingling or other sensations. Just standing there with my eyes wide open and mouth dropping.

3) I did still have the key in the ignition to keep the lights and clock going (the car was a 1988 Olds Cutlass Ciera), but I did turn the radio all the way down. Didn't hear a sound at all. The lights didn't dim, nor did the clock go out. If there was radio interference, I didn't hear it.

The location was on CA 168, at the intersection of Tollhouse and Millerton Rds. It's a rural area, about 12 miles from my home in Auberry, and the sign at the intersection says Fresno 27 and Shaver Lake 25. (Try Google Maps or Mapquest if you can)

No other traffic while I was stopped. When I did get going, there was no traffic for 3-4 miles.

As I said, the weather was clear, and I could see stars. I don't recall if the moon was out.

It's rural, but there are several nearby houses on 168, and on Tollhouse Rd. as it goes to Tollhouse. If anyone was up and outside, they would've had a better view than I did. It's about 3 miles in from where the foothills of the Southern Sierra Nevada start, so it's hilly some.

Orleans, Ontario Cylindrical Craft Makes A Swishing Sound
Date: Summer 2004. Time: Late afternoon. Location of Sighting: Orleans, Ontario - My Backyard.
Number of witnesses: 1. Number of objects: 1
I was cleaning the pool on a nice sunny afternoon and noticed that the moon was really bright. Anyways I grabbed my camera and while it was turning on I could see this shiny object flying across the sky that didn't look like a normal plane, there were no wings, and it made a swishing sound. I got a picture of it and it was gone. I took some more pictures of the moon and later when I downloaded them to my computer, I noticed the object in another picture I took by the moon but it is quite high up and just looks like a spec.

Ottawa, Ontario Aviation Parkway Bright Light Flys Off At Fast Rate Of Speed
Date: Various times. (February or early March 2007). Time: Usually between 10:00 pm and 2:00 am
Location of Sighting: Ottawa: Aviation Parkway between Sussex Dr and Montreal rd (near Orleans).
Number of witnesses: 2-4. Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Small softball like light.
While driving down the parkway, on a semi cloudy night, we noticed what at first looked like a really bright star, but after a few moments of just standing still, the light suddenly took off in the right direction at an incredible amount of speed, my friend who was driving , could not believe the speed it went as he tried to keep up for a while going nearly 100 kmph, but after a while it just disappeared out of sight. this happened last summer at some point, mid June. Oddly enough, this first sighting happened almost directly above the aviation museum itself. Since then, we have noticed other event similar to this one, in fact 3 other times since.

Downtown Seattle, Washington A Reddish Orange Globe Of Light Hovering
Date: October 1996. Time: Early Afternoon.
Location of Sighting: Downtown Seattle. Number of witnesses: 1. Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Ball of light.
My one and only possible sighting has been nagging me of late, I've never reported it as at the time I had little or no interest in UFOs and it seemed so odd that I tried to rationalize it as something normal because it was right over downtown Seattle in the middle of the afternoon on a working day. Early one afternoon I glanced out of the window and saw a reddish-orange globe of light hovering and moving between the tall buildings at approximately 4th and Pike? or Pine? I was probably 700 yards away.
I thought it seemed odd as was hovering and moving extremely slowly between the buildings but felt sure it must have been a helicopter, maybe further out over Elliot Bay as I couldn't see anything but the light. I felt sure it must have been much further than I had initially thought. However the more I tried to look to see the helicopter behind the light, the stranger the whole thing seemed. As I stated earlier, I knew very little about UFOs at the time and was certain you only saw them at night in New Mexico or something, this was mid afternoon among skyscrapers in downtown! It eventually disappeared before I had a chance to go outside and walk toward it. I was toying with this idea for a good 5 minutes but just refused to believe this could be anything unexplainable because of the time and location..
To this day its the oddest thing I've ever seen and surely someone else must have seen it!? The feeling I got was that it was large-ish but too small to fit a person inside and that it was directly over or near Pike place market drifting from side to side very slowly for around 5 minutes. It disappeared behind a building and I never saw it again.
