Fort Stockton, Texas A Football Field Sized Boomerang Shaped UFO
Date: 1974
Time: Between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. (Saturday)
Approach Direction: From the West.
Departure Direction: To the East.
Witness_Direction: Facing Southwest.
Description: Although this sighting happened in 1974, I was afraid to go public with it because of my paranoia of the Government and the ridicule of my friends or family. What I am about to tell you needs further investigation because there were numerous witnesses at the time. Yet, it never was mentioned by the media. This sighting happened when I was a Sophmore in High School at Ft. Stockton, Texas. Ft Stockton is a small town of 10,000 in far west Texas on
the way to El Paso.
At that time, my dad was a Route Delivery Driver for the Dr. Pepper Company, out of Pecos Texas. I remember that it was a Saturday because Ft. Stockton was his main route on Saturdays. We were on Main street and we were making a delivery to a small Convenience store called "Pick Pack Groceries"
Just as my dad parked the truck in front of the store, he reached across my brother, and slapped me on the chest. Then he said, "You boys ever see a UFO?" I replied, "No, Sir." Then he said, "Well, there's ya one right over there." Then he pointed out his driver side window toward a street called "Colpits Street." There was an Elementary School just a few yards from the corner of Main and Colpits and right up above the school was a Silver object about the size of a Football Field. It hovered about 50 feet above the school and it was shaped like a boomerang. From my position I figured that it was about 10 to 15 feet thick.
But the strangest thing about the incident was, how the people in Ft. Stockton reacted to it. As my dad got out of the truck, he said in a rough voice, "I don't want you boys watching that damn UFO. We got work to do." So my brother and I unloaded the cases that he needed, but every once and awhile I would glance over to the School to make sure that the silver boomerang was still there. I even noticed a couple of cars that pulled over to the side of the road and people getting out and pointing to it.
After we unloaded the truck, I had to go inside of the store to help my dad stock the shelves. But the first thing that I noticed was how weird every one was acting. There were at least 15 or 20 people in the store and not one person was reacting to the boomerang across the street. And it could clearly be seen outside of the store windows. So I asked the man behind the Cash Register if he could see that shiny thing above the Elementary School across the street. Then he replied, "Yeh! What is that thing." And I replied, "My dad says that it's a UFO." "That Right?," he replied. "Strangest thing I ever saw," he said as he continued to ring up a customer. "So, you can see it?" I asked. Because I was confused as why no one was reacting to it.
I thought that every one would drop what they were doing and rush outside to gawk at it. But the Cashier just rang people up like it was an every day event. And everyone else was acting the same way. They were milling around the store gathering up chips and dips and checking out at the register like nothing was going on. So I had to get confirmation that I wasn't the only one seeing things. "So you can see that?" I asked one more time as I pointed out the store window. "Yep!" he replied. But it didn't end there. I knew that we would be making deliveries for the rest of the day and I was disappointed because our route would carry us away from the silver thing.
But my disappointment didn't last very long. I was sitting near the door on the passenger side of the truck as we drove down Main street. My door faced toward the south side of town and Ft Stockton is as flat as a pancake. The Tallest buildings were downtown and they weren't any taller than two stories. But the
Junior High School was at least three stories high. And there it was. Another one, was hovering over the Junior High. And I saw one more, or it could have been the same one hovering over the far edge of town near the south. The only thing on that side of town was the main Hospital and a Trailer Park. I got the impression that it was over the trailer park. The whole incident lasted more than three hours, because that is the time that it took us to make our deliveries as we traveled east down Main street.
Every time we took off to the next stop I would look out of the passenger side window for the silver boomerangs and I saw them throughout the rest of the day. But it was how the people reacted that blew me away. People were going about their business like nothing was going on, even though occasionally a car would pull over and people would get out to point in the same direction that I was looking. But it still didn't end there. Our last delivery was to a Gas plant about 40 miles east of Ft. Stockton. Once again I was disappointed because we were leaving something that was utterly phenomenal. But believe it or not, I could see it far to south as it passed us, as we traveled east. I even got the impression that it was following us. Then, there it was again. Another one was hanging over the community of the Gas Plant.
My dad looked terrified and he warned us once more to pay attention to our work and not be staring at the UFO. So he parked the truck facing away from the boomerang. Then we unloaded the drinks and my dad went back inside the office to settle up. While he was gone my brother and I waited in the truck. Then my brother grabbed a magazine from underneath the seat and started to read it. I was astonished at the way he was reacting to everything thing, because I felt like a kid in a candy store. All I wanted to do was get out of the truck and stare at the big silvery thing, but I feared my dad more. So I asked my brother if he could see it. He replied "Yeh! Why?" "Well, don't you even care?" I asked him. "Daddy says that it's a UFO. But every body's acting like it isn't even there." then he replied, "Yeh, and Daddy told us not to be watching it. So I isn't watching it. If you want to watch it that's your problem. But I aint getting in trouble.
I'm going to read this magazine." Then I looked out of the rearview mirror and watched it as I thought about it. I wondered why my dad was so terrified and
remembered thinking that they were taking everyone. Including my dad. He was gone for two solid hours. When he came out of the office, he still looked terrified and he never said a word. As we drove off I noticed that the boomerang was gone.
On the way back to town I kept looking for it, but I never saw it. So, I decided to ask my friends about it the following Monday after I went back to school. But I never did. I completely forgot, even though I searched the News Papers for weeks for any kind of story. There were even rumors of a rash of sightings and cattle mutilations. But that particular sighting was never even mentioned. It wasn't a blimp and I knew that our government didn't have that kind of technology back then. I know that there were numerous witnesses and my brother is still alive today. So he can confirm everything that I have written. If there is anyone from Ft. Stockton that remembers anything remotely similar I sure would like to hear from them.
Color/Shape: Silver like Foil - Shape of a boomerang and the size of a football field.
Height & Speed: hovered 30 to 50 feet above town - south side of Ft. Stockton departed east of Ft. Stockton.

Mr. Vike, Thank you for taking an interest in my story. You are only one of a hand full of people that I have ever shared this with, but my wife encouraged me to get the story out. I would like to find more witnesses from Ft. Stockton though. Last year I sent an Inquiry to the Ft. Stockton News Paper "The Pioneer" and I got one response. Someone sent me an E-mail and they told me that they remembered the rash of sightings in the 70's and then they told me about one of their own experiences. He said that he was afraid of going public with his story, but he told me about a cattle mutilation that occurred on his fathers' ranch. Then he told me of other sightings he and his family had witnessed. But he begged me not to tell anyone.
Now I would like to explain a little bit about my own story. I worked on a sketch like you asked me to but I went a little further. I have been a photographer and an artist for most of my life so you should really enjoy the photos I am sending you. I enhanced them in a software program called Photoshop. So the attachments I am sending you are huge. Just in case you want to make yourself an enlargement or two.
My wife and I live in San Angelo Texas, about 200 miles east of Ft. Stockton. So, to make a long story short, my wife and I drove through Ft. Stockton to see my mother 60 miles west in Ft. Davis. On the way back I took photos from the actual spot that I saw the silver craft.
One of the photos I sent you, shows one of the boomerangs hovering over a building behind some trees. This is the School I wrote about. Ft. Stockton Elementary School. (1st thru 3rd grade) There are two pickups in the photo, one stopped at the intersection on Colpits Street and the other traveling east on Main Street. The scene is almost identical to what I saw, except for a couple of things. I noticed that I was standing too close to Main Street when I took the photo. My dads' truck was parked closer to the store. So it would have been 30 feet back. Another thing that I noticed were the trees. I don't think the trees were that tall at that time. Then there is the boomerang itself. What I saw, always reminded me of a giant silver wing. It was thick at the front and then it tapered toward the back, and it was more rounded. The picture I sent you makes the bottom look flat, but I think it was more rounded.

St. Louis, Missouri Possible Same Boomerang Craft And Again Passive Witnesses
Date: Summer of 1981 - 1983 Time: Daylight sighting.
Also HBCC UFO Research did telephone the gentleman at his home in St. Louis, Missouri today, (April 28, 2007) and we spoke at length about what he remembered and saw. While I sat on the phone he used a cell phone to call his son straight away, saying that I, Brian Vike from HBCC UFO Research was on the telephone right now and asked his son would it be ok for me to call. I was given the man's son's phone number and called straight away. We had a really nice chat and received more detail about what was witnessed, which I will type up soon. I also sent the son to my website so he could have a look at the photos/graphics over the Fort Stockton UFO, he believes it appeared to be the same shaped craft, at least from what he does remember.
Hello, I just read the report about the 1974 Texas sighting, and the witnesses' astonishment at people's behavior. I have lived in St. Louis, Mo. all my life, and always within a mile from my current location, which I have been at since 1972.
My report has little value, as I cannot remember the exact year or month, having gone through a virtual 'hell' in my personal life since then, with a nervous fatigue situation that almost took me out, but that was not related to the sighting or even concurrent with it, as my problems did not arise until the late 1990s.
I only saw the retreat of the ship. It was probably between 1981 and 1983, in the Summer on a Sunday afternoon, around 2:00 p.m. My son saw the ship, along with his playmate little girl from up the street and my wife.
The ship was noiseless and very low over our subdivision street. Perhaps 200 feet altitude, and at first seen by my son, it was 'hovering' directly over the street.
My son's drawings of it and description fit the 'sport' category that I have since heard about, a real classic.
It was a warm day, my son, his friend and my wife were all outside, with my son playing on his bicycle and my wife working in the herb garden. I was inside, watching a documentary of interest on the TV. My son came rushing in the house, yelling for me to come out and see a UFO right over the street, and to hurry, and that 'mom' said for me to come out right away. Unfortunately, I assumed they were either trying to trick me or were entertaining some kind of
misidentification or whatever, so I told him, "okay' I'll be out as soon as the commercial comes on!" He went back out, came back in after a few minutes, almost hysterical, begging me to come out as the ship was starting to move. I finally gave in and went out on the porch and looked to where my son pointed and saying that it was almost gone now.
The only thing I personally saw was a "brilliant" white light moving off. Perhaps a quarter mile away, very low and about 200 feet and towards the northwest at a gradually increasing speed.
I was amazed at the sight, so bright, even during a sunny Summer afternoon. I immediately walked over to my wife and asked if she had seen the ship, she said yes but she was afraid of it and tried to keep her head down. The playmate also confirmed seeing it and was very scared.
My son and I bantered about it the rest of the afternoon, and I had him draw me some pictures of it. By 4:00 p.m. my wife was fixing dinner when I approached her with my son's drawing, and got the shock of my life. She had no recollection of the incident whatsoever ! I saw the little girl on Monday outside with my son again, and asked her about it and her memories of it were intact.
Later the next day and week, I casually mentioned it to some of my neighbors, all of whom I had seen outside doing yard work that day and no one saw anything, despite the obvious appearance of the craft at low altitude, etc etc. No One! There also wasn't any media mention. I know how the reporter (eyewitness) from Texas feels ! Very odd, indeed.
To this day, my son and I still bring it up on occasion and he can still render a drawing of it. He cannot get the image out of his memory, nor I the vision of the brilliant light retreating. When my wife went blank and the neighbors all were blank, I decided to not mention it anymore, at least to anyone but my son. I didn't and don't need extra crazy points! I don't really understand, and my education did not involve psychology or any other knowledge that would help me explain other folks behaviors, including my wife's.
As a layman, the only thing I can think is that it is so scary and so outré that people go into instant denial or something. But children do not as they have not been completely stigmatized. If you would wish to talk to my son about it, I think he possibly may offer his memories of the event. But he has never 'broadcast' it around to others at all, sensing my uneasiness about pursuing it with others, with the exception of one family friend, (deceased) who believed him. Having known him since he was a child and knowing that he was not a 'storyteller' per se. (he is now 34 years old.)
I would like to thank you Father for taking time to write up this report and for sending it in, I also would like to thank him and his son for taking the time to explain the UFO event on the telephone with me today. It was a wonderful conversation.

Sanilac County, Michigan Nightly UFO Occurrences
Date: Summer 2006 Time: 8:00 pm - Midnight.
Location of Sighting: Southeast Sanilac county.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: Many.
Shape of objects: Bright white/blue lights.
Almost every clear night last summer (2006) and every clear night so far this Spring, I have observed unusual lights in the sky. They start at dusk and continue to appear until about midnight. They appear as bright lights moving across the sky. Sometimes they flare as they pass directly overhead, sometimes they remain at a constant brightness from horizon to horizon. I have been observing the sky my entire life. My mother is an amateur astronomer, and she and my father are both pilots. I am familiar with the various things you would expect to see in the night sky. Satellites, planets, stars, meteors, and conventional aircraft. These objects are distinctly different from anything I have ever observed in the past.
There are several reasons why I classify these objects as unusual. They are clearly not meteors as they fly parallel with the ground and do not appear to fall. They are not satellites in the conventional sense as they can become very bright (like a car headlight) which is not typical of satellites. In addition some give the strong impression of being at most a few thousand feet up, though altitude is hard to judge at night. They also give a very strong impression of being self-luminous. In one instance I observed a bright light to the west right at dusk. I watched for a moment and as it passed over my position I saw that it was an airliner reflecting the rays of the setting sun. I could clearly see the wings etc and it reflected less and less as it headed east. Moments later another light appeared following the same course. This light remained bright as it passed overhead, and did not dim at all.
No wings or other structures were visible at any time. I believe this was an important sighting as I was able to observe a conventional aircraft and an unknown at the same time and determine that they were indeed very dissimilar. I would like to stress that these are nightly occurrences. Sometimes it feels like all I have to do is walk out my front door between 8:00 and midnight and watch a UFO fly overhead. I would encourage anyone who is interested to spend some time in southeastern Sanilac county.

Brockville, Ontario And Massena, NY Photo And Sightings Of UFOs
Date: January 28, 2007 Time: Daytime.
I have a picture for you to look at, this was taken via a web cam from Morristown, NY on January 28, 2007. It was taken over Brockville, Ontario. I'm the gentleman that responded about the March orange lights along the American and Canadian border. You know I'm a bit overwhelmed with this whole issue, I have seen a ton of strange events in the night sky in the past few months. I have taken video of it, and right now I have to figure out how to transfer it to the computer from my high8.
Here is some things that I have experienced: Late last fall My family and I were driving home from the local Wal-Mart and where I live a street runs parallel to the St. Lawrence River as we got into view of the river called Wheathouse Bay, we all saw what one would describe as someone dropping a pebble into the river, however the size of it would have been a large pizza at arm's length which was strange to all of us, and on top of it the water was generally calm however the water on the outside of the ring was creating a curling wave ?
I have seen two craft over the village of Massena, NY and what was weird about them. I swear they were hovering and then when I got closer to them they flew right over me and very low in the sky, the best description was a steady led light that was white in the front and a deep red in the back and they were to close to be airplanes and the lights weren't flashing at all this was early February.
But this one so far has topped the cake, this occurred this Wednesday night around 9:00 pm I was in process to go to my brothers house in Bombay,NY again close to the Canadian border, I was watching a real bright star when all of sudden I spotted a solid bright orange/yellow light moving at a constant speed, which was strange in that it crossed the road I was on but it should have done it before I got there, I then noticed that it was just sitting there on the other side of the town. Part 2 same evening at my brothers something compelled me to go outside it was around 10 pm when I went to open the door I noticed a glowing orange more yellow object through the tree's and this at arm's length was the size of a CD it was strange in that it was a soft yellow light that didn't shine to the ground and in it's center was a brighter white light, my best description of the light was that of the ghosts on the Pac-man game, I continued to watch this for a good 45 minutes, where it stayed but it would move left to right and up/down for a short distance, at this point and time I called the Franklin county emergency management office and reported what I saw, I suggested that they send a car out which I don't know if they did or not, after a while it changed intensity of color and brightness and eventually moved to the right and disappeared from view. Unfortunately, no camera that night I will have one this week with me. PS this area is between Cornwall, Ontario and Montreal, QC border very close.

Edmonton, Alberta A Perfect Black Pill Capsule Shaped UFO
Date: April 26, 2007
Time: 7:45 a.m.
Location of Sighting: 82 Street and Yellowhead.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Odd roundish shape, changed to pill capsule.
Full Description of event/sighting: Hi, somewhat hard to describe but here goes, I was going south on 82 Street and a very bright sort of sporadic sun refection pulsing caught my eye. The brightness of the "flashes" were very bright, and on the *lower* left side of a somewhat round object about half a mile away and about 1000 feet. For the to be sun reflecting off this object, the left side would have been correct, but the lower side on a round object? ie, if a clock face, the bright spot would have been between the 6:00pm and 9:00 pm position.
The rest of the object was pitch black, ink black in the daytime clear blue sky. It also looked like the quadrant of the object that was reflecting sun light and was "bigger" ie, the sun reflection was larger than it should have been compared to the size of the object.
We saw this thing for about 2 minutes, it was traveling east at a slower speed maybe 60mph. It looked like sun reflecting, sharp sporadic pulses, very bright. It also traversed from about a 12 o'clock position to a 9:30 position through the windshield, all the while with this super bright sporadic pulses, which I find strange as I don't understand that if it was a refection, how could it "still reflect" over so many degree's on the same lower left of the object. I have to say I got a really good look at this object. I stared intensely at it trying to make out a helicopter, and at that distance I've seen many helicopters and never had a problem discerning a "helicopter shape", this thing had no shape to speak of, but at one point it looked like a perfect black pill capsule, then back to the round black "blob" with a very bright reflective patch on it.
