Industry, Maine Triangular In Shape And Black

This sighting took place one relatively clear summer afternoon. We were standing out in the yard just talking. All of a sudden it got dark, like a big rain cloud just arrived overhead. I looked up and directly overhead was the largest air craft I had ever seen. Can't really guess how big it was, but it certainly was as big as the biggest jet made or even larger I want to say. It was triangular in shape, and black. I could not see any markings or windows. It was very low to the ground. It was not silent, but as if it were coasting with engines off. There was just a whirring sound. I couldn't believe anything this big could stay in the air at such a slow speed. I assumed it was a stealth jet. One of those secret ones they don't want us to know too much about.
My first impression was that it was in trouble and was looking for a place to land. This is a mountainous area and by the direction it was headed I thought it might be headed for a farmers field that was about three miles away. I didn't want to miss this, so a few of us hopped in the car and raced towards the field in hopes to see the craft land. We did not see the craft in route nor was there anything at the field when we got there. We got out of the car to listen for anything. There was nothing. I'm sure this was just some sort of military manoeuvre, but I'll never know. I didn't call to report it. I wished I would have if only to know if anything was supposed to be in the area.
I say this took place in 1988, but it may have been 1987 or 1989. The timing is a bit foggy.

Hyderabad, India Truck With Strange Figures

This event might seem tame, but in the context of its setting, it was bizarre. Hyderabad is a large city in south India. One night our bedroom was stiflingly hot, and I had trouble sleeping, so I rose from bed and walked out to the veranda in the night air. Our house was outside the Hyderabad's urban area, and city lights were visible in the distance. It was 3:00 am. Everyone was asleep.
Feeling restless, I walked out to the edge of the veranda and looked down. Beyond the wall of the back yard was a vehicle that resembled a UPS delivery truck, but larger. It was parked on a dirt road. There was a light in my in-laws' back yard, like a streetlight, and I could see that the truck was tan in colour. It had no markings, and was a hundred feet from me at the bottom of the hill. As I stared down, wondering what it was doing there, two figures walked around from the far side of the truck. They were dressed in plastic suits like workers in a radiation lab. Their heads were covered with plastic hoods, and they talked to each other excitedly, but they were too far away for me to hear anything specific. They walked around to the far side of the tuck (out of my view) and reappeared several times. One of them pulled something out of the back of the truck that resembled an oxygen tank, and then walked around again out of my view. After five minutes I yelled, "Hi!" Both figures looked up at me, their faces covered by plastic faceplates, and then continued about their business. The truck seemed "hi-tech" in a very "low-tech" part of town.
I considered walking down to find out what was going on, but I could not approach the truck directly, as our back yard was surrounded by a fifteen-foot-high wall. To reach the truck at the bottom of the hill, I would have to go out to a main road, walk all the way down a different hill, and proceed up the dirt road to where these figures stood--a journey of at least half a mile in the middle of the night.
I was too tired to try this, so I pulled up a chair and watched the truck and its strange people for almost an hour. Finally one of them got into the passenger side, while the other walked to the driver's door and stopped to look up at me. I yelled down in English, "What's going on?" The figure stared at me for a few seconds through his plastic faceplate. Then he got into the truck, started the engine, and drove away. In the morning I asked my wife's family about this, but they had no idea what I was talking about. Later I walked to where the truck had been, and combed every inch of ground, almost on my hands and knees, but there was no trace. There was no manhole cover nearby, or electrical wires, or nuclear power plant in the city, in short, no reason for that truck to have been there. I spoke a bit of Hindi, and I asked the people in that neighbourhood if they had noticed anything strange the previous night, but no one had. I was very familiar with India (having travelled all over the country) and I never saw anything else like the truck. It made no sense. For several weeks I mentioned this event to everyone I met, but again, no one knew what I was talking about. To repeat, this event may seem like nothing, but if you knew India like I do, it was very weird.

Macclesfield, England Three Lights In A Triangle Shape

Here is my story of the strange lights in the sky.
It was, I think the summer of 1998. I was trying to sleep, but the heat was getting to me. I was lying down looking out the window. I saw, what I thought at the time, was a commercial airplane because there were three lights in a triangle shape. I assumed that there was one on each wing, then one more at the front. I looked away at the time. 11:01 PM, I think. I glanced back at the "plane" in the sky. Nothing unusual. Then they seemed to stop in the air. I remember thinking that I've never heard of any plane that could do that.
It remained there, stationary, for about two minutes. I continued to watch. Then suddenly it moved at an astonishing rate downwards at an angle of about 30 degrees to the horizon. It was gone out my filed of vision so I got up and saw the lights disappear behind the horizon. I glanced at the time again. 11:03 PM, that is how I know it was stationary in the air for around two minutes. My window looks out into the distant countryside on the outskirts of my town. It wasn't that dark because it was summer and because of the light pollution from the town so parts of the countryside were still partially visible.
Some details are hazy because it was a long time ago. I cannot remember the date, only the time of year and time of night

Kamloops, British Columbia A Cluster Of Three Glowing Orange Objects

A friend and I were sitting on my back patio in Kamloops having coffee one summer morning around 1999 or 2000. He was relating to me how his girlfriend and he had seen some weird orange balls in the sky the previous evening at the drive in movie. The view from my patio is generally southwest and I live on the valley bottom so there is a clear definition of altitude if anything is below the ridge line. Wen we both see a cluster of three glowing orange balls zipping across our field of view, below the ridge line. They were only visible for a few seconds as they were moving fast, best guess would be three to four times as fast as a Dash 8 on final, something I see five or 6 times a day as we are on the glide path to KYA airport. They quickly disappeared from view heading down the valley out over Kamloops Lake. To summarize; they were orange (pale) they were probably between 5 and 10 feet in diameter and they were travelling somewhere between 400 to 800 mph at an altitude of less than 1,500 feet, but more than 1,000 feet

Valley Center, California Strange Water Tank And Unknown Men

Valley Centre is a small town in Southern California, 25 miles inland from the coast. The area is rural. Houses are sparse. I had been living in a house about ten miles outside of town. Our nearest neighbour was half a mile away. The area was hilly, and covered by citrus and avocado plantations. One night I was jogging down Cole Grade Road when I noticed a large "water tank" that sat on top of a small hill. The object was about fifteen feet wide, fifty feet tall and stood upright. It looked like part of an oil refinery, and was less than a quarter mile from the road I was jogging on. Its presence was odd, since I had travelled that road every day, and saw no "water tank" when I had driven home at sunset less than an hour before. The hill was in plain view of the road, and I would have noticed the "water tank" had it been there earlier. Curious, I walked up the hill toward the object, which was black in colour. I saw no lights or markings in the darkness, but I did see moonlight reflecting off its surface, which seemed to be metallic. I had walked ten paces when I heard someone say, "Can I help you?" To my right was a man in ordinary clothes, walking toward me in the darkness. Fifty feet behind him stood another man who wore a uniform like sheriff's deputy, but it was hard to be sure in the darkness. "I was just looking around," I told the first man. "This is private property," he said, continuing to approach me. "What is that?" I asked, gesturing toward the object on top of the hill. "I didn't seeing anyone building" "This is private property," the man repeated. "I'll have to ask you to leave."
I was turning to go when I looked up and saw a third figure step out from behind the "water tank." This figure stood looking down at us, and in the moonlight I saw that he had a rifle. He stood with his weight on one foot, the rifle butt on his hip, the muzzle pointed at the sky like a soldier calmly standing at his post. He was just a silhouette, so I couldn't see what kind of clothes he was wearing. My house was only half a mile away. When I got there, I told my wife what happened. We got into our car and drove past the hill. The "water tank" was still there, but no figures this time. My wife wanted to get out and try walking up the hill again, but I didn't want another confrontation, so we drove home.
About two in the morning we were awakened by the sound of coyotes yapping outside. We often heard coyotes at night, but this time they were making quite a racket. I banged on the window of our bedroom. This usually drove coyotes away, but they kept on. I sat up in bed and looked out our window (directly behind our bed). Outside it was pitch black, but I saw lights flashing beyond a stand of trees in the direction of the hill that had the "water tank." The lights were white, and looked light car headlights, but extremely bright. I was very sleepy, so I lay back down. Eventually the coyotes stopped yapping, and I went back to sleep. In the morning as I drove to work, I looked at the hill and saw that the "water tank" was gone. I stopped, got out of the car, and walked up to the top of the hill. There was no trace of anything at all, but I did find a pile of quartz rocks, white in colour, as though someone had dumped a truckload of rocks on the hilltop. Most were the size of an orange. There were no houses nearby, and no tyre tracks. (The hill was covered with foot-high weeds.) One of the quartz rocks was the size of a cantaloupe, and I took it back to the car with me. There was nothing unusual about it. I gave it to my son, who still has it.

This was the only time I saw a UFO. At 3:30 in the afternoon we stopped working and decided to cook burgers on a barb-b-que. The sky was blue, and full of cumulus clouds. I asked my friend's father if he had ever seen anything strange out at this place. "What do you mean?" he asked. "I don't know. Lights. Ghosts. UFOs" "You can see a UFO almost every day out here," he said. "Huh?" He said that almost afternoon when he was at that ranch an object, a certain object was visible in the sky. Then he pointed to the spot where it usually appeared, but I saw nothing. Half an hour later we were standing around in the back yard, drinking beers, when my friend's father said, "There." High in the sky to the northeast of us was a cubical object. It was at least two miles away, but I could see that it was metallic. It seemed to be at least as big as a jet aircraft, and was very shiny, but it did not glow. It hovered there, stationary, but I could see flashes on its surface, as though it was spinning and the sun was glinting off it. A cloud passed in front of it, but it was still there. I was quite high in the sky. My friend's father said, "Now watch this." The object continued to hover for a few more minutes. Then it shot straight up with extreme speed until it was out of view. It made no sound. My friend's father said, "Pretty wild, huh?" I asked him what the thing was. "You tell me," he answered. The next afternoon (Sunday) I watched for it again, but the object did not reappear. I've experienced two other strange events in the Arizona desert. ----------
Tucson, Arizona Craft Estimated To Be Approximately One Mile Long (Diagram)

Large object with multi colour running light observed flying above Tucson Arizona.

At 2230 hrs this date, I went to the front of my yard to walk towards a neighbour. Our house lies in the Foothills (North Central) area of Tucson adjacent the Catalina Mountains.
I heard one of my dogs bark and I turned to look back at the house. Directly above the house I observed the object. The object was flying south to North. I would estimate that it was directly above I-10 (I-10 runs north and south) I-10 is approx. 7 miles due West of my House. It was approx. 25 degrees above the horizon. I would estimate, and it's only an estimate that from light to light would make the object at least one mile long.
My first thought was that the object (s) were in fact 3 objects strung out together and flying in formation. I assumed they were helicopters flying north. There is a Marine aviation base due north of us. Holding my hand at arms length in front of me, I would estimate object would have been (from running light to running light) 4-5 fingers in length. The object at its southern point had one non-flashing light, in its approx centre was another non-flashing red light, at its northern point were two lights, one which was white and non blinking and another light very close to the white light and it was red in colour and blinking. My wife exited the front door and I yelled at her to grab the binoculars and run out with them. This she complied with, retrieved the binoculars and she and ((name deleted)) came out to join me. I brought the binoculars into focus and could see the object, which appeared to be moving fairly slow and continuing North. I could also ascertain that there was a darkened area between the 4 lights and that in fact these were not 3 separate objects. This horizontal area or structure did not appear to be very high but was flattened and "line" like. I handed off the binoculars to both ((name deleted)) and ((name deleted)). We continued to watch the object as it continued North. Approx 3 minutes into the observation the object appeared to make a flight adjustment and it began turning into a North-West flight angle.
At this point and through the Binoculars I could now see the rear end of the object. You could now see that it possessed 2 white lights in the rear of the structure. It looked as though you were watching the rear end of a car that had two white running lights. The distance between the two rear light would be approx 1 finger held up at arms length. The 3 other lights (red in the center, white and blinking red up from) were also still visible but at more of an angle.
The front flashing red light was still visible. At all times the lights remained at a fixed distance from each other, the distance never varied as it would if you were watching a string of conventional aircraft struggling to maintain position relative to each other.
I was able to observe the object from its new flight path for approx another minute to two minutes until it was lost over the horizon. My Wife and daughter told me (after object was gone) that while I was watching the object, and just before it was lost to sight, that the two of them observed a streaking object come into their field of view. They were both facing West, as was I, when from their peripheral vision to their right, the object, apparently traveling East to West, caught their attention. They said the object was a fiery white in color, traveling parallel to the ground, and was between us and the Catalina Mountains. (The Catalinas are approx. one half mile North of our home and where we were standing. The Catalinas rise approx. 2900 ft above the valley floor, and my wife said that it was well below the tops of the mountain. They went on to say that the object streaked toward the larger object (which was now disappearing).I asked them this question later-if it was possible that it "merged" with the larger object, and they stated that it may have because that this smaller object streaked directly toward the larger one and also disappeared in the same general area. The object appears to have corrected its flight path from when first viewed to the point that it turned NorthWest as I believe I-10 makes the same course adjustments. I believe the object was certainly following and flying directly above I-10, turning as I-10 turned, but I'm not completely sure of this. I could not estimate its speed, but it was not flying very quickly, but I would guess that if these were in fact helicopters, it would appear to be about the same speed as a helicopter at that distance. There was no sound. We contacted a nearby neighbour (too late for him to see it), but as we talked in the driveway he related to me that during a ball game this evening, the crowds were witnessing many strange lights in the night skies.......he didn't elaborate.

Cochrane, Alberta A Long Bright Shaped Hanging In The Sky

While driving west on Griffin Road in Cochrane I looked up at the clear blue sky and saw a long bright shape hanging in the sky. At first I thought it was a cloud reflecting the sun so I pulled over and watched it for a few minutes. It never moved and didn't dissipate like a small cloud would. I have no idea what it was.

Lynchburg, Virginia Triangular In Shape With 3 Red Lights

The flight path is not a standard commercial route for this area. It seemed to be triangular in shape with 3 red lights at the points. The lights were flashing in a confirmed pattern. It's fairly bright out tonight but I could not make out any discernable aircraft shape. Also, it was flying rather slow, there was absolutely no sound, and it appeared to be flying low. If it wasn't low then it was a massive craft. It approached Lynchburg, VA from the south-west and continued in a north-eastern direction.

West Lakes South Australia Object Hovers Over Lake Shooting Down Beam Of Light

We were fishing under the road bridge for brim, when all of a sudden a bright light got brighter until it was approximately 200 meters above us. It was silent. A beam then came from the craft hitting the middle of the lake. Much like a particle beam. Like snowflake, it looked weird. Water was definitely drawn upwards. It lasted for about 2 minutes and disappeared. The water was not disturbed and there was no noise. We immediately pulled our fishing lines in and went home. There were red and green lights on the craft but no windows. This spaceship was not from this planet and was in need of salt water.
