Canadian Fireball Witnessed By Many - Or Was This A UFO ?
On March 21, 2004 the sky lit up with an object shooting across the Canadian night time sky. An fireball was witnessed from Alberta into Ontario where this story takes an unusual twist. It appears we all took it for granted that what was seen by many people to be a brilliant fireball which streaked across the sky. Even the pilot of a private jet carrying the Prime Minister of Canada, Mr. Paul Martin witnessed the event and reported the unidentified bright object to air traffic controllers in Edmonton while flying near CFB Suffield.
My question is, were we led to believe it was a fireball and having the story dropped from there ? Well something has caught my attention just recently and I have spoke with a person at great length today which makes me re-think the entire story we were lead to believe. Was it a fireball or an unknown object ?
My first take on this when I heard and read the reports about this event was that is must have been a fireball that traveled across a good part of Canada. Now I am not so sure as to what it was, all I know is that I will be examining this case, along with excellent video footage taken from a location in Ontario. The time frame fits with an object been reported and the fireball incident. So I guess we will see what comes out of this. Of course there is alot more information to come on what I am looking into.
I would like to request that if anyone who saw the fireball/UFO event on March 21, 2004 in Canada, would you please contact me here at HBCC UFO Research.

Ventura, California Orange Red Glowing Cigar Shaped Object
Date: 1977 or 1978
Time: 8:30 to 9:30 p.m.
Location of Sighting: Santa Paula Freeway East of Ventura California.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Cigar shaped elongated.
Full Description of event/sighting: This is an old sighting--but I heard some UFO researcher on the Art Bell show talking about the same event a few years ago. Don't remember the name of the researcher, but when he was talking about the sighting I realized that I had seen the exact same thing, but only from the opposite direction--and that the object was between me and the other observer.
Was driving down the Santa Paula Freeway between the hours of 8:30 and 9:30 PM. Moonless night. I was just west of Santa Paula driving toward Ventura Ca. A couple of miles East of El Rio I noticed a orange-red glowing, cigar shaped object coming from the north at about an altitude of 600 to 900 feet.
I don't think the object was more than a mile from me. I stopped the car, got out and watched as it slowly flew from north to south at a slow speed. The object was slowly pulsing in intensity (glow orange-red) and occasionally dripped a yellowish flame from it's tail as it flew.
At first I thought it was a military jet in distress and on fire. But there was no jet noise. And it flew far too slow, under the stall speed of a jet aircraft.
I reached inside the car and flashed my high beams repeatedly hoping to elicit a response from the object. There was none. The craft kept on flying in a southerly direction towards the direction of Point Mugu Naval Air Station.
From the point of was standing the surrounding terrain is completely flat. The visibility was at least 15 to 20 miles because I could see the flashers on the hill side above Mugu Rock where the military tracking station was located.
The object must have flown directly overhead or very near to the Naval Base perimeter. I kept watching until the light grew dim in the distance. Total length of this sighting was no longer than two and an half minutes.
I realize this was thirty years ago and I am not certain of the year. I think it was 78. But I am certain of the shape, color, speed, direction and flame-dripping aspects of the craft.

Kincardine, Ontario 3 Bright Lights Explode From The Water
Report received January 29, 2007
Date: About 14-15 years ago
Time: 10:00 -11:00 p.m.
Well I live in a small town called Kincardine. It's in Ontario on the Western shores of Lake Huron. This is home to one of the worlds largest nuclear
power plants, Bruce Power. This experience happened about 14-15 years ago. I was around 12 years old and it was the summer before I entered high school. So how ever old you are then.
Anyways, this is what happened, It's about 10:00 - 11:00 pm., myself and two friends at the time were on our bikes down at the harbor on our pier. We have two piers, a north and south pier. We were on the north pier, cause back then we had a diving board on the pier where everyone would hang out. So we were out on the pier standing around talking about having a sleep-over out at my dads house. About 50 meters or so off the pier it looked like there was someone out in the water swimming. It looked like someone was doing the breaststroke, doing maybe 30 feet lengths back and forth, back and forth. We didn't think anything of it really. So anyways my one buddy already knew he could stay the night, but my other buddy didn't as he had to ask his parents. So he took off on his bike back uptown to call his parents and ask.
Me and my other buddy stayed at the pier. 10-15 minutes later he comes back. This is where things get weird! So we notice that things still there, doing the same
thing, same pattern like someone was swimming! Only out a little deeper, basically right out in front of the diving board now. Still parallel to the pier. Now were starting wonder what this thing really is as were curious, right. We start walking towards the diving board, which is maybe 15 feet from where we were, asking each other "What is it?" As we reached the diving board I yelled out " It's a mermaid, " joking around. Just as I finished yelling that, this thing stopped moving in the water and it looked like it looked at us. It went under the water and exploded out of the water in 3 bright lights in the shape of a perfect triangle. Maybe
10-15 feet between each light. This thing was out of the water and hovering literally 7-10 feet in front of us, off the pier in a matter of milli-seconds. Not a sound was made by this thing and deadly quiet! It rotated one way coming out the water, stopped in front of us, hovered there for maybe 3-5 seconds then took off rotating the other direction out over the break-wall then up into the air and gone! I remember having to grab onto the diving board ladder because my entire body
turned to, basically Jell-O and I could feel some sort of heat on my face.
After we could move again, we looked at each other and ran like hell! We left our bikes and just ran off the pier and it took us about an hour
to go back to get our bikes. This happened and I will never forget it. Feels like it happened yesterday. Back then I had no clue about UFOs and such things. We were all into our sports. The only thing that came to our minds was a ghost. But as I got older I started seeing TV shows and documentaries about UFOs and now I'm 110% sure it was a UFO, and to be honest I think we saw some sort of Alien species doing whatever it was doing in the water until we spooked it. Maybe it hopped in it's craft and zipped up on us out of curiosity. It's a crazy story I know, but 100% the truth.

Southampton County, Virginia Round Lights In The Shape Of A Triangle
Date: January 23, 2007
Time: Approx: 7:40 p.m.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: Either 1 or 3
Shape of objects: Round lights in shape of triangle.
Full Description of event/sighting: Hi. I understand this site 'serves' Canada, so I wasn't sure if you'd want any possible UFO sighting in the states or not. But, I figured what the hay--all you can do is tell me is you don't need my testimony--can't kill me and eat me, right? Right? ;o) lol
Anyway, this is something that I witnessed this past Tuesday, so I'm trying to get this all out while it's still fresh. I filed a report with NUFORC last night as well.
On Tuesday, January 23, 2007, at approximately 7:40p.m. I was driving SE on Sedley Road with my four year old son on my way home from a friends house when I spotted what I thought at first was a planet--possibly Venus or Mars--(I enjoy astronomy and such, but can hardly ever remember what is what exactly in the sky so far as the names of stars and planets and where they should be at, at any given time of the year.)
This object was to my left and looked to be a few miles away from me--(after checking out my map, I think that this object was most probably 2-3 miles away from my location when I first spotted it as I was driving.)
This object was looking for all the world like a planet--just far bigger than I was thinking a planet should look from earth--definitely larger than any planets I've seen before. But im no professional star gazer, so I figured what do I know? lol
The 'planet' was VERY bright, and a light orange color. Even though I thought it looked awful large for a planet, I still assumed it must be one since it was not twinkling like stars do.
I pointed the light out to my son, and proceeded to bore him with probably useless trivia about how to tell if a star is a star or if its a planet. This object was in my view the entire time I was driving-(except short periods when trees obscured it.)
A little over 2 miles up the road I had to make a left turn to head due east. I had started thinking there was definitely something weird looking about the light so once I turned, and saw no other cars were coming, I stopped in the road to have a safer look.
This was when I noticed the light was not a single light, but three lights--and it was moving in a diagonal direction towards me! I figured that it must be an airplane since it was moving, yet I thought to myself that it was weird for an airplane to have three large orange lights underneath it like that because for it to have been an airplane the two front lights would have had to have been on the end of each wing, and the third rear one on the tail, and all would have had to have been underneath the object.
These lights all looked to be the same distance apart and were very big looking lights, all large, all the same light orange color, no pulsing, or color changing, and they were set in a triangle pattern. They didn't appear to be landing lights, and I wanted to mention that the plane was not coming from, or going towards the direction of the closest airport here, so I'm sure it wasn't landing or taking off.
I made no unusual note of speed, or movement--(it appeared to move slowly, but I wouldn't say notably slow, nor did I see any unusual movements that defy conventional aircraft movements.) I had my window rolled down, and I heard no sounds as if an airplane was passing overhead, but I never cut my van off, so I suppose it's possible there were some sounds.
This object appeared to be flying pretty low, yet was too high for me to make out any of the aircraft itself--I could only see the three lights. It's possible this may have been a normal, everyday aircraft, but I have to say that I've been driving for many years, and have been out lots of times at night, and I have seen many, many, airplanes, helicopters, and such in the night sky at varying distances. I've seen all kinds of colored lights on aircraft's as they go along up there, sometimes steady, sometimes blinking and blipping around.
More than a few of them have given me pause, but I always realize very quickly that it is in fact just an airplane, or some other form of 'normal' aircraft. You just--know when what you are seeing is normal, and when it is not, and this didn't look normal to me. I can't say as I've ever seen three big orange colored lights in that formation on the very bottom of an airplane like that before. Ever.
Another car ended up turning on the road behind me that I was stopped on, so I drove up to the next side road and turned on it to find a place to turn around and try to watch this thing some more.
I did this in about a one minute time period, losing sight of the object as I did so. As I was pulled into the dirt path I was using to turn around in, I stopped and searched out the object, finding it easily as it made its way in the same diagonal trek, but in front of me this time.
I sat there maybe 30 more seconds as it grew smaller in the distance, then drove home.
Thought I should mention that I submitted another report to the NUFORC about a year or two ago concerning a possible UFO sighting I had when I was younger back in the 80's in nearby Suffolk, Va. (I believe that was the last time I have seen anything 'unidentified' in the skies until Tuesday night, btw...lol)
The object I saw in the 80's was a solitary, huge, bright light, but was orange like the lights I saw last night. Might be nothing, but thought worth stating.
Don't know if this is helpful or not, but I looked up the exact coordinates of the location I was at when I saw all this on Tuesday.
My physical coordinates around the time I first laid eyes on the object were around LAT: -76.9872522354126 - LON: 36.74926092648688
After studying a map of the area, judging by the horizontal direction this object was flying in while it was coming towards me on Black Creek Rd when I realized first this thing was three lights, I believe the craft was coming from the vicinity of the following coordinates; LAT: -76.96995735168457 - LON: 36.75394593241057
