San Francisco, California Frightening Family Experience

The weather was a clear, cool, starry, moonless night. At about 2:30am one June night, I was in our dining room watching our floor console TV set. Our house has windows all around, but no curtains on the top side windows, since the view in that direction is private. That view is due North. The back of the house is East. The room we ended up best viewing from was South-East.
Anyway, the TV suddenly started staticing and went into a early test pattern, right in the middle of the program I was watching. I didn't trip too much at first, but then the refrigerator, which sits just to the side of the TV, over against the wall, began moaning! It sounded like a sick cow, long deep moans. Maybe it was an electrical noise, that I had never heard before, because I stood up and stared at it from across the room, I was ready to run. Then the test patterns on the TV got stranger and stranger.
They went from the channel standard, to polka dots, plaids, geometric shapes and patterns, horizontal and vertical stripes, large, small, thick and thin, faster and faster. It was making a strange electrical sound as well, plus the patterns were all in brilliant black and white, and it was a color TV!
It began to synchronize with the refrigerator's moaning and shaking! I yelled for my mom and my sister to "come see this!"
This crescendo kept up until it climaxed in a matter of minutes by both appliances blowing themselves out. Whatever had just happened, did not affect the single remaining house light, which was on in the small back kitchenette area.
With the new dark, I noticed flashes of light coming in through the north window! I am afraid of lightening, which is what I thought was happening, so I ducked down with my eyes closed, and waited to hear the thunder clap, because the flash had been quite close, and very bright. This happened at least 3x before I noticed there were stars in the sky, and not a cloud in sight!
By now my mom and sister were with me, and we noticed the flashes which seem to be coming from just above the house, more near the South-East window where my sister's room was located. We went in there to see if we could see what was going on outside! In the quiet of the small room, we could hear our 4 large dogs howling like puppies in the back yard, something was scaring them! But it wasn't just them, dogs as far as a block away were howling and barking, all at the same time!
Before we even looked out the blinds of the window, we were terrified! Our bravado gone, we just cracked the blinds a tiny bit to peep out from our darkened room. A loud sound of static electricity ensued! We could see the strong thick tree on the side of our house was nearly bent back double, it's branches and leaves were whipping about like a thing alive!
Something was blowing hard just above our house. We could hear the dogs tearing at the back fence now, trying to get out!
My heart was pounding, but I was determined to see this thing? all I had to do was just turn my head and look up out the window! We were too afraid to open the window, and even more afraid to look up. We live in a crowded neighborhood, houses are 15 feet apart, and back to back yards. Yet no one was in their windows and no ones lights came on with all this noise.
There was a gale force wind blow or being blown, right down on our house, there was no chopper sound, since we have seen and are familiar with Police helicopters paroling the area at times. This was not like that! There was an unearthly sound of static going so loud, I thought if I stuck any part of my self out window I would be electrocuted. The hair on our bodies was raising, from static, fear? or both?
Suddenly, a brilliant blue white light shone down on my next door neighbors house. It was brighter than any Police search light I have ever seen. Every where the light shone was daylight, and magnified! This light appeared to be searching for something, but every where it shone it looked like daytime, or like the sun was out, only brighter!
It was so bright it should have wakened the neighbors when it shone on their house! Their shades were like ours, so I am sure it shone right into their house! When I say the light was magnified, wherever the light shone I could see the dirt down to a gravel, and I could see the eyes on the ants crawling on the ground! Each blade of grass stood out like it was under a universal microscope! I was too afraid to even angle my head in the room and try to look up through a crack in the blinds now!
Suddenly the light went out, the trees stopped whipping, there was no more sound of static. There was a quiet. We waited 10 minutes before any of us moved. We whispered because we were too afraid to talk regular yet. Five minutes after the quiet, my dad got up and said something had awaken him from the other room, it was probably y'all talking, he grumbled
We all tried to tell him at once what had just happened. He shooed us off and went back to bed.
Why didn't we just wake dad in the first place, Mom? I asked? We all knew why. Dad had a gun, and he would have heard his dogs howling and would have went right out to shoot whatever or whoever was outside his house! We didn't know what was out there, but it had been the right thing to not wake dad!
Our story could end here, but there is more. My youngest brother and his friend had been out clubbing all night and towards dawn they were at the local burger stand a mile south from our house. He told us later that he thought it strange that a huge cloud was lightening horribly right over in the area where he knew our house should be. He said they had a clear view, and there were no other clouds in the sky, except for the huge cloud in our area, it was a cool, clear night, with lots of stars out. The funniest thing he said, was I felt compelled to look, and noted I never heard any thunder, and that cloud was lightening, like crazy!
He added he never saw any actual lightening, just that the cloud was lighting up so bad, it appeared that it might be lightening. What else could it be since the cloud was so huge and black?
On another note: The next morning my tipsy brother come down and complained about my sisters kids keeping him up all last night. This brother had been sleeping off a binge and this is what he told us. I sleep with the window open for air, I guess I dozed off. It was dark when I awakened but I lay quietly in bed in the corner, when I noticed the kids playing around in the room. I couldn't see them good it was so dark, they were even darker shadows. They were going in and out of the closet, and messing with the vacuum cleaner.
They were into everything and they were ticking me off. I started to tell them to go the heck back downstairs, when I watched a couple of them go over to the stairs, instead of going down the stairs they went straight out the window, as others, way too many of them were coming in the other window! They were all over everything and I felt the hairs on my neck begin to rise, my sis does not have this many same sized kids, and they certainly do not come and go by the windows.
All I knew was I did not want whoever these small black shadow people were, to know I was in the room watching them.
I was so scared, I was glad I quietly passed out. I had been drinking but I wasn't that drunk! My brother had on a phosphorous watch, he had glanced the time.
These so called kids had started coming in and out the window upstairs at the same time the fridge, and the TV had blown a gasket. No neighbors had noted or spoke of seeing any activity the night before over our house. The ones with yards adjoining ours, in the back, had a clear view of our yard, the dogs. the back window, and more no one ever mentioned any
happenings.

West Side Of Stevens Pass, Washington A Large Bright Green Round Shaped Object

While being detoured onto the Goat Trail Road because of a paving road operation on US route 2. I noticed a very large bright green round shaped object in the sky which I had to slow the van to a stop. I watched this object hovering in mid air and it went up and down and the slowly moved off a bit and stopped again. Then it took off with such speed I just couldn't believe what I had witnessed and several passengers in my van at the time and some how none of the others saw what I had. They were in the back of van and the whole event seemed to happen in a 10 minute time frame. I mentioned it to close friends and family and a few guys I worked with, and they all thought I was crazy until a news report came on the radio about a week later at noon. They mentioned that the sighting showed up on government and private radar and that a lot of people had reported seeing this object. I can't remember exact date but it was around 2000 in the summer time. Have never heard another word about this sighting. But I know what I witnessed, and this was for sure a very real UFO sighting. It has changed my way of looking at life ever since.

Surrey, British Columbia 3 Perfect Ring-Circle Impressions In The Grass

Forgot the date of sighting. It's in daytime several years ago. When I looked over the window on the 2nd floor of my brother's house, I noticed there were 3 perfect ring-circle impressions on the grass at the backyard arranged nearly side by side. The circles were of the same size and seemed about 8 feet in diameter. We, my brother and 3 kids of us, could not figure out what and who did that and for what purpose. However, it clearly were made by something pressing on the grass from above and lifted away. When I said it might be something in connection of UFO, we all had goose bumps instantly.

Hubbards Beach, Nova Scotia Object Made A Slight Humming Sound

This is the second time in the past few years that we have seen unusual craft in that general area. Almost three years to the day we ( my wife and another close personal friend) also observed a craft that was also virtually silent (slight humming) with very unique lighting and flight characteristics. It looked like a supped up sports car that had neon tubes attached along the undercarriage. It also had no sound and was flying at well below the levels permitted by commercial of civilian aircraft. When we observed this craft it seemed to have a very unusual flight path with the aircraft appearing to jump around when viewed from behind.
I have been looking for rational explanations for both sightings -- but the repeated flights by multiple unmarked black helicopters over the full week leading up to both these sightings makes me think that there might be something more to these events.

Des Moines, Iowa A Huge Rectangular Shape Spinning

This sighting happened on Friday, August 18th, 2006 near Des Moines, IA. I was visiting a buddy in Iowa and we were just leaving a restaurant after having lunch. I'm guessing on the actual time, but I would say it was right around 1:00 to 1:30 p.m. We walked outside to the parking lot, and, as I was about to hop into the passenger side of his truck, I happened to look up to see a huge rectangular shape spinning in the sky. It's kind of hard to describe, so bear with me. Like I said, it was rectangular and it had very rounded edges - it looked soft - and it was rotating steadily as it ascended. I would guess it was roughly 1,000 feet up when I first noticed it. It was black/dark gray in color. The best way to describe it is: it looked like an inflatable mattress filled up with helium, but a lot bigger. If I had to guess the size of this thing, I would say it was thirty feet on it's longest side and about five feet in height. I don't know if anyone else in the parking lot saw this thing or not.
My first thought was 'this is a prank,' because it looked so soft. I wondered if it was a balloon of some sort that got away. The Iowa State Fair was going on at the time, so that might have something to do with it. I don't live in Iowa, so there might be a perfectly rational explanation for this sighting that I haven't heard about - a weather balloon or whatever. If so, no harm done, but if not - I would be interested to know if anyone else saw this beside my buddy and me. I tried to take pictures with my camera phone, but the glare of shooting into a blue sky made it impossible to locate in my phone's viewfinder. The 'soft rectangle' ascended steadily for a good five minutes, rotating the entire time. We followed along in my friend's truck until it got so high I lost sight of it. There was no noise, and it was a mild, partly cloudy day

Chester, Nova Scotia Unusual Craft With White And Blue Flashing Lights

We were sitting on my boat which was located in Chester, Nova Scotia. Around 1.25 am we noticed a small craft with a very unusual lighting pattern. The lights seemed to be coming from the front of the craft. Initially we thought it might be a low flying helicopter but there was no sound and as it got closer it was easy to spot the unique hull shape. As it flew overhead it revealed an even more unusual pattern of white and blue flashing lights and a fully lit underbody. Very unusual to say the least. The sighting only lasted a few seconds but it was long enough to realize we were looking at something different.

Fort St. John, British Columbia Yet Another Strange Object

Time: Approx: 1:30 p.m.
Just thought I would show you yet another strange object flying around up here. I was helping a friend haul out his Moose and while we were waiting for a couple of other people to show up I started scanning the skies and taking random photos. My friend said what's that ? I looked up to see this object moving over top of us at a high speed. I set my camera on sport for high speed to lessen any blur and snapped a few shots. My friend has no interest in these things and said that if you can't explain it then no use talking about it. I thought that it was gone in the second photo but it was not. It had moved about a quarter mile away. The time was around 1:30pm, there was no wind to speak of and it made no sound. The object was moving toward the southwest. I use the high speed setting because it shows bugs and the like better. You can see their wings which helps to eliminate them as likely suspects. These photos were taken about 20 miles north of town.
Additional Information:
Not sure of the name of the area. The date was August 19th 2006. I talked to my friend again but he wants nothing to do with it. The problem I'm seeing here is that all these objects just make quick flybys and I've yet to see anything just sitting there hovering. If we had looked around even 2 seconds later we probably would have been unaware of it's passing.

Over The Fraser River Between Surrey And Coquitlam, BC - UFOs

I have been seeing quite a number of bright white strobes the past few days, always just the one flash, bright enough to even penetrate the cloud cover. Have been seeing maybe one per hour beginning just as soon as the sun goes down. Always seem to be between 30 to 45 degrees altitude and appear much bigger than the average strobe on a plane. No objects or sound seen or heard.
On the evening of Monday the 21st of August at approximately. 21:15 I was sitting here playing on my computer when a bright light outside caught my attention. I glanced out and observed 4 large yellowish/white lights arranged in the shape of a Diamond. My first thought was it was a commercial aircraft due to its size. I quickly grabbed my binoculars and took a quick look. So much for it being a plane. All 4 lights appeared to be underneath some kind of dark platform ( sensed not seen ) All 4 lights faced down, not forward like aircraft lights. There were several small white strobes and one bright red strobe located between the big lights. I put down my 10X binoculars and grabbed my bigger set and during the few seconds it took to get them set the center set of lights went out just leaving the front/back and strobes. At this point the object was almost directly north of my position and appeared to be over the Fraser River. Even with the bigger binoculars I could only see the lights and even though it was below the clouds (approximately 1200 feet.) I could not make out any outline. Object was moving about the speed of a small plane in an easterly direction. No sound from it.
As it approached the area of the Portt Mann bridge. I noticed a small plane passing overhead on what appeared to be an intercept course with the object. The plane was plain to see outlined against the clouds with the obvious running lights. At almost the same time I noticed the plane the object appeared to change to a more ENE course which put it almost directly ahead of the plane. I continued to watch both the plane and the object for several minutes but the plane did not seem to be gaining. I lost sight of the plane over by Burke Mountain but continued to watch the object for another minute or so, by this time I could not see it with the naked eye and quickly lost interest.
21:45 - a repeat of half and hour earlier only this time the lights were arranged in a narrow triangular pattern. Two at the rear and one up front. Same thing happened when I grabbed for my big binoculars. One of the base lights went out just leaving one at the front and one at the rear, same few small strobes, appeared to be about the same size and speed, again no sound and again it was heading in an easterly direction. I lost it behind the tower across the street.
22:15 - Noticed what appeared to be the same object coming back on a westerly course. Only this time there was just one bright red strobe at the front and one of the big lights in the rear. Made it appear as if the big light was pushing the object. Object was still flying at approximately 1200 feet and the speed of a small plane. I lost sight of it as it passed by Burnaby Mountain mainly because I was to lazy to lean forward in order to keep it in view.
A short time later a commercial jet flew over headed for the airport. It was flying higher and faster but was easily seen against the clouds and it was plain to see there was no comparison between its lights and the ones on the objects.

At first I noticed a bright light flying east over out to sea. Thinking it was a plane flying over. It seemed it's lights were very, very bright. Then I watched and realized as it's lights dimmed out, then it came back again and moved in a different direction. I thought it was an American spy plane or radar plane like the ones you have from Mildenhall but then its movements didn't explain anything. Then I saw another one creeping across from around Oxford towards the other light. There were other commercial aircraft who had their navigation lights on but clearly could be made out to be planes. I look at this sky almost every night during my cigarette breaks at work at the yacht club and have never seen anything like this, it was very spooky.

South Of Orlando International Airport UFO

OK, I was just outside, and I see this big bright light over the trees, to the north of me. I have 20/13 vision, but also have an astigmatism, so all I could see was this light kind of coming up over the trees. Well, it was moving, the light was, and I thought "Oh it's a helicopter on a search or something". But I thought it was far too high up for such a bright light.
I got up and walked out from under the shaded section of my doorway, out of the light, and the light was indeed a search light, and it was moving around searching for something. As it came closer to passing over the top of my home, I could see its shape. How to describe this. I thought for a second it must have been an airplane, but the searchlight didn't make sense, and as I looked at it, I could see another lit section in what appeared to be the rear section (although it was not a tail) that seemed to have bars or something over it, criss crossed, like two by two across each other.
The object was doing some serious maneuvers, and because of the searchlight I thought well, it must be either a helicopter, or a UFO. The shape is the weirdest part, though. The body was wide, and the wings, if there were wings, were short, and kind of knobby. Too short to be jet wings. Well, the bright searchlight had been turned off, all of a sudden, but it wasn't a surprise, I just noticed it wasn't on, and oh it was so weird, and the maneuvers were just so hard. It was doing this titling thing, and turning short, back and forth, mostly going straight, but just doing this weird maneuver while it went into it's direction. I cannot explain it any better. I am still not sure if I even saw wings, or if I am imagining any type of wings, for my own sanity. It was not a helicopter. It couldn't have been a plane, cause whatever I saw that was wing like was small, and the body of the thing was seriously wide. Plus that whole lit up dome thing, on the bottom, with the criss cross bars.
Well, I was at that time, walking up and down the driveway, looking around, and sure enough, the same freaking thing came back. It was the same thing, I can tell, by the maneuvers it made. This time, it had the spotlight on coming from the northeast, from low, and going higher, and then circling around a bit and then heading due north. There are a bunch of trees where I live, and I imagine I couldn't hear it. I can say, I could hear the engine, but am surprised at how quiet it was. I figured it would have been much louder. I could also hear it more when it was further away. It's so hard to explain. I am convinced that this was an alien spaceship.

Worksop, United Kingdom More Unusual Maneuvering Lights

Looking towards the Hospital/Top of Kilton Hill there were two very bright lights, at times faint red but then really bright white nearly fire looking. They were quite close and moving strangely around, often swooping positions, one going left and fading out then coming round and the other doing the same. This would last for 5-10 minutes then both fade away or move off to the right in the distance for a long time. Then later reappear.
Later to the left looking more over the golf course we saw one red light, sometimes constant, sometimes blinking and moving weirdly left to right then in circles, up down, everything. Later we see another faint red light appear, then another one, then another one. We think 4-5 in this one area, but then all disappearing apart from the one that started off. After roughly an hour it started moving right, straight in to the path of the first two white lights which suddenly appear again as it passes. This thing was seriously moving across the sky quick. Not warp speed or anything silly, but double a plane speed easy, and it just kept going.
None of these lights made a single sound. Defiantly not planes. But we did see a really strange plane looking thing that came over. Not the normal left and right colored wing lights but two bright white flashing lights going the length of the thing and it didn't sound like a plane either. More smoother sounding.

Grouse Cypress Bowl, Vancouver's North Shore Maneuvering Object

Time: 10:15 - 10:30 p.m.
Message: Hey guys, this is not something I normally come across, however, last night August 25, 2006 Friday at 10:15-10:30pm I think I saw a UFO. I live on Saltspring Island, I was looking over towards Grouse Cypress Bowl. So I was looking roughly north. At about 45 degrees up in the sky over the Vancouver Airport I witnessed a multi colored star making erratic movements for about 15 minutes. I have been viewing this particular area of the sky for over 6 years, and I have never seen anything move this way. I have also spent 3 years flying in helicopters. I do not understand how this star could have moved in this manor. I also called in a witness to view the star. They can verify what I saw. It moved up and down, side to side, diagonally, back and forth very fast, around in circles and in "J" like patterns. Then it just sped off and faded into the distance.
