5-Mile Prairie In North Spokane, Washington A Large Disk

Message: In the late 1960's my two brothers and I were playing on a field below 5-Mile Prairie in north Spokane, WA. when we saw what looked like a large disk moving horizontally across the sky, toward the cliff-edge of the prairie about 300 feet higher than our position.
When the disk got close to the edge of the cliff, it stopped, then rose upward until it was clear of the cliff, then continued on its previous heading.
We were very excited and immediately ran home to tell our Dad that we had seen a flying saucer. He responded "No, you didn't - it was an airplane". We knew it was not an airplane, so we told him so. He then yelled at us that it was an airplane, so we stopped talking to him about it and went back outside. We never saw the object again but we still all remember quite clearly seeing it, and what it looked like.

Full Description of event/sighting: This sighting happened about 8 years ago, and I am now 16. Do not push this aside as just a false tale, because I speak nothing but the truth.
I remember it just like it was yesterday. It was a dark, but clear night. I was sitting up getting my Asthma medication because I couldn't sleep, I had a hard time falling asleep. As my medication was almost finished, I looked over to my left and there was a disc shaped craft with blue lights around the perimeter. It was hovering over the VG, and I could tell it wasn't a plane or helicopter, merely because it didn't make any sounds or anything.

Ajax, Ontario Two Unusual Balls Of Light
Date: 1998 - 1999 ?
Time: Approx: 1:30 a.m.
My sighting took place in the late '90s. Maybe '98-'99. Late summer early fall. It was approximately 1:30 am and my friend and I were heading westbound on Steeles (Tauntan Rd.) coming back into the city from Ajax. At around Altona road we noticed a ball of light in the sky. At first we thought it was an old smoke stack that was out in that area. But as we kept heading west so did the light. The entire time it stayed on the south side of the road. Just as we passed Ninth line we noticed a second ball of light. This one appeared to be doing dips up and down behind the trees.
Eventually, they both started doing these up and down movements. We finally hit Markham Rd. (highway 48) and the lights seemed to be heading southbound so we followed them. At times they would move very fast and at other times it appeared that they were slowing right down. I know that other people witnessed this event because at one moment around Finch Ave. the lights stopped moving and hovered in the sky. The cars that were on the road stopped and some people even got out and watched. The lights then moved very quickly in a southbound direction until they eventually disappeared. I have not heard of any similar accounts until finding your web site. We always hear about these sightings in the U.S. but very rarely do we hear about them in Canada.

South Nashua, New Hampshire A Long Thin Metallic Bar Or Cigar Shape

Shape of objects: Long thin metallic bar or cigar shape.
Full Description of event/sighting: I was traveling south bound on the Daniel Webster Highway at about 10:40 in the morning. I stopped at the set of lights just before Cumberland Farms and Allen Mello Dodge car dealer ship in the south end of Nashua N.H. The weather was nice so I had my window down as I traveled to the Pheasant Lane Mall. Just as I stopped I looked out the window (drivers side which was down anyway) and noticed a metallic glint of sun off of a long object at about my 10 or 11 o'clock position. Distance was hard to determine as well as elevation. I'm a pilot and tend to always look at the sky and try to identify planes. I assumed that I was catching the reflection of a small aircraft banking to turn and the reflecting sunlight was coming off the leading edge of the wing.
As the object continued to bank, slightly, the reflecting sun light faded and all that remained was a long black object that was at about a 45 degree angle to the horizon. It was not a plane turning and it descended slightly in the direction it was angled and then appeared to either vanish or speed away until it was no longer visible. Again I cannot confirm distance or altitude. I do know that what I saw was certainly no aircraft I have seen.

Waterhen Lake, Saskatchewan UFO Rises Out Of The Water (Daylight Sighting)

Time: Around 2:30-3:00 p.m. (afternoon)
Message: Hi there, My family has vacationed at Waterhen Lake in the Meadowlake Provincial Park in Saskatchewan for more than 25 years. We returned this summer along with my wife's family for a week long vacation that consisted of tubing, skiing and fishing. Prior to us leaving Winnipeg, my wife had searched the web to find a good phone number that our daughter could contact us at in case of an emergency since our daughter was not going to be coming with us. My wife was surprised to find numerous reports that appeared to document bizarre sightings of strange lights coming out of Waterhen Lake. She printed off one of these reports made by an independent researcher from Lloyminster and took it along to show the other members of the family.
On Tuesday (July 25) afternoon, around 2:30-3:00, my son (he is 13 years old) and I were swimming off the beach in front of the M and N Resort when my son yelled to me, "Dad did you see that?"
He then quickly added, "What was that?" I asked him what he had seen and he described it as a yellow round object consisting of two disks with an orange colored center. He said that it had come out of the water and flown rather erratically in a vertical and sometimes horizontal fashion. When I asked him where it had come out of the water and how big it was he said that it was hard to tell but that it had been in the northeast corner of the lake and quite a distance away (possibly a km or two). He was rather shaken up since it defied any natural explanation that he could think of. He had overheard us talking about the reports of "UFO" sightings at Waterhen Lake but had not read the article that my wife had taken along. Later that evening we gave him the article and he was stunned to read that the description of the object from other sightings matched his sighting completely. The description that best described his was two "Frisbee like shapes, yellow and orange in color".
I am sending this to you so that you can add to your list of sightings. My son has developed a real interest in the paranormal and this has resulted in us having many very interesting discussions. The day after my son's sighting I talked to one of the owners of the adjacent Tawaw Resort and he agreed that the sightings at the lake are simply bizarre and beyond any simple explanation. The mystery continues. Sincerely.

Columbia, South Carolina Object In A Stationary Position

Full Description of event/sighting: Not the first time I or this group has seen this object. It's been in our skies off and on for about two months now in varying locations. It appears as a "star" or "planet" until you try to figure out which one it is. Then you realize nothing celestial is in that part of the sky. So best we can assess via binoculars is that this object appears to be able to maintain a stationary position for up to six hours. It appears as white light with closer inspection revealing red, green and sometimes blue flashing rotating lights around it. We have seen it low in the sky in the northwest, high in the sky in the northeast and high in the sky in the south. I have never seen it " just appear" or move. It is totally stationary and gives you the creeps when you realize it's there.

Halifax, Nova Scotia Translucent Dark Orange Object

Shape of objects: Round.
Full Description of event/sighting: Me, my mother and her friend May got the idea to hide from May's daughter and her friends to try to scare them in the path. We were hiding in some bushes, when I thought I noticed a balloon floating in the air. It had string on the bottom, and it started floating up into the trees. I then fixed my attention on something moving in the sky.
It was translucent, it was a dark orange colour and it was moving at quite a speed. I don't think it was a balloon, merely because of the speed it was moving. It was fairly high up, and chances are the balloon wouldn't have made it that far and my mother exclaimed "Oh my God! What's that?! Is it a balloon?". That was the weirdest thing we seen that night, and the weirdest thing I seen in a long time.
It was roughly about 300 - 500 feet in the air. It then went into the distance, and vanished. It was heading in a northwest direction from our standpoint.

Easterly To Westerly Broomfield/Boulder, Colorado Cigar Shaped Object

Full Description of event/sighting: I was heading towards US36 on Church Ranch Rd when I saw an object in the skies heading towards the mountains. It was shaped like a fuselage of an airplane and at first thought it to be such. It was very large and difficult for me to determine just how distant it was. I would guess 2-4 miles. I consider it larger than the biggest of airbuses. I kept looking for a tail fin and tail wings but could not locate either. It was the same for the major wings. This object was segmented into 3 segments. The fore and aft segments were of the same size and color ( silverish-white ). The segment in the middle was approximately 1/3 of their size and white. That would be the part where one would expect to see the major wings of an airplane. I never saw them materialize into wings from my perspective. Other vehicles were around but as usual none was looking up.
I was traveling the entire time and observed it for 1-2 minutes. It appeared to move a little faster than the largest airplanes I have seen at about the same distance. I am going to guess that this object was about 40 degrees going mostly East to West. The strangest thing about this sighting is that I became disoriented after watching it and I feel that on occasion since then I still have periods of disorientation or confusion, if you will, in my work that is not normally present.

Creston, British Columbia A Silver Cigar-Shaped Craft

Message: On July 29, 2006 my sister and I were swimming in a remote area near Creston. About 4:00 pm we saw a silver cigar-shaped craft fly overhead. It had two smoke trails, but we could detect no wings and no noise. It was much lower than the usual jets that we see flying over here, and it was going in a completely different course and direction than the jets fly (heading south toward the Idaho border). My sister said maybe it was a blimp. Not sure whether there are such aircraft in existence, but if not, then it must have been a UFO!

Lethbridge, Alberta Black Stick Objects Forming A "V" Pattern In The Sky
Date: August 1, 2006
Time: Between 8:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Location: Lethbridge, Alberta (North side of town)

HBCC UFO Research took a telephone call from a fellow who resides in Lethbridge, Alberta. He stated that on August 1, 2006 he was at home and out on his deck talking to a friend and he was watching the storm clouds moving through his area. He was wondering and hoping to see some rain from the clouds as they have not had much in the way of rain for the last while. The witness said something very unusual caught his eye. It was a long cigar shaped black cloud off to the left of the cloud bank and lower in altitude. (which he indicates in a diagram he made)
As he watched and looked away for a few seconds then back again at the unusual dark object, he noticed there were a total of three of these dark objects off to the left of the main cloud bank. His best description would be that these three objects were perfectly straight sticks and black in color. The next weird thing that took place was that one of the long stick like objects moved independently and towards one of the other objects and then forming a "V" pattern and he said they were just hanging there in the sky by the larger cloud cover.
Eventually the man went running for his camera which was in his car, and still looking back to keep his eye on these strange objects, he noticed another black stick like object which now made a total of four sitting in the sky. This latter object moved to join the other single object and again formed a second "V" pattern. The two "V" shaped formations were side by side with the second "V" pattern slightly off angle with the first "V".
He opened the door of his car, grabbed his camera and when he turned around expecting to see the two "V" patterns in the sky they were gone. They just up and disappeared !
After the event had finished the fellow sat talking with his girlfriend for approximately 20 minutes when two jets flew over within approximately two minutes from one another and then a third jet followed the same flight path the other two had taken which was directly at this cloud bank, or where the two "V" formations were. The jets stayed parallel from each other as they crossed the sky. HBCC UFO Research asked the gentleman if they were military aircraft. The witness said he could not be sure due to their high altitude. The witness also told me that two of the aircraft returned following the same flight path they originally were traveling. Same parallel lines could be noted due to their contrails. All these jet aircraft were seen in a five minute time period.
The guy's girlfriend was very excited about seeing so many aircraft fly across the sky at almost one time. Like the fellow said, Lethbridge isn't a very busy place. The witness told me there was a little bit of light behind the two stick shaped "V" patterns. A flare of light he said.

South-West Guelph, Ontario A Large Orange Ball

Full Description of event/sighting: We were watching a very violent August thunderstorm when my father noticed orange lightening in the South-West over the rural Guelph area. We soon realized that it wasn't lightening, but a very bright glowing orange ball over the tree line. The ball would remain stationary and exceptionally bright for several minutes, then suddenly stopped. This on/off pattern occurred for approximately 12 minutes. It was a clear round object with the orange colour of a flare.
We speculated that it may have been a chemical fire or that a hydro transformer had been hit by lightening. A review of the local news this morning reveals no fires or explosions in the area the previous day/night. It was very bright and any fellow storm watchers should have seen this event.

To : HBCC UFO Research Centre, I am a resident of Sri Lanka living in a suburb of capital Colombo. Attached herewith is a news item that appeared in local news paper “ Daily Mirror “ on 1st August 2006 regarding a reported appearance of aliens. In recent weeks there were several reports on UFOs in Sri Lanka and I am sending this news item as I thought it may be an interest to you.
A local Sinhala language Sunday news paper named “ Rivira “ also referred to the same incident last Sunday and they carried a picture claiming to be a foot print of an alien. That picture is also attached.
I am only sending these repots that appeared in our news papers and I do not take any responsibility for their accuracy.
