Mitre Lake Outside Of Yuma, Arizona Sound Of Metal Grinding On Metal
Date: Three years ago.
Time: About 3:30-4:00 a.m.
I had to report this after I read the report of the terrible sound in Vancouver. Three years ago I was camping beside Mitre Lake outside of Yuma Arizona, it was about 3:30-4:00 am and a thin misty cloud cover had just put an end to my sky-watching for the night. It had been 120F. in the shade that day, so needless to say we were the only campers, there were no lights or buildings nearby.
I was just falling asleep when the sound of metal grinding on metal woke me up. It seemed to be moving toward us very slowly, over the low rugged desert mountains. It sounded exactly like striped gears on a car -- if the car had a hundred gears and was as big as a house -- and over your head! There was nothing visible, the sound passed above us and over Mitre Lake. The whole incident took about fifteen to twenty minutes. My friend said it must have been a migration of locusts but, A. we couldn't see them and B. there were no dead or dying insects on the ground or on the lake surface when daylight came.

Willawarren, N.S.W. Australia Strobing And Colored Flashing Lights

Time: 6:30 p.m.
26th June 2006 Monday 6.30 p.m. near Willawarren and about 50km west of Kempsey, N.S.W. Australia.
I arrived at Tammy and Bill's farm where we were about to head to central Queensland and onto to the Anakie gem fields. The previous night Tammy had phoned to say they’d been contacted by their neighbour, further up the hill, who was seeing lights in the sky. I told her to get some photos but the mobile phone was all that was available and wouldn’t pick it up. I told her to try anyway and spent the next two hours wondering what had happened. I arrived the following evening, as planned, and hadn’t unpacked the car before John, the neighbour up the hill, phoned again to say the lights were back.
I raced out to the car and threw some items out to make space for one of the family and looked back to find they were still making sandwiches and coffee, being a bit blase, having seen it the previous night. As for me, brief head scratch and off I raced, up the hill, bouncing around in the rutted track and peering in every direction, wondering exactly where I’d packed the binoculars. I come to the intersection where to the left is John's and to the right is an avenue of trees leading to an open view and a large expanse of sky.
I turn towards the open space and stop after a few seconds as I think the binoculars are in the boot of the car. I jump out of the car and crouch down to somewhat frantically search in a packed boot and then look up to see a shape pass overhead. I’m crouched down, looking up at an assortment of strobing and coloured flashing lights which reveal no obvious shape. As this thing flew almost over my head, it was only visible for a few seconds, between the top foliage of the trees and so I can only estimate a shape as big as the space between your hands held at arms length. Not something to be confused with atmospheric conditions, aeroplanes, stars or planets. I wasn’t conscious of any sound associated with this and I felt that it was flying not much higher than the trees. I guess 8 to 16 strobing and flashing lights in a completely irregular pattern which is why I can’t add anymore to this observation. Just after this Tammy and company drive up the hill, I tell them what just happened and find out that they didn’t see it and then we head up to John's.
The next hour and a half were a little anticlimactic for me but nonetheless, it’s worth reporting that we observed bright star sized points of light which would move. We also saw two objects, slightly bigger than stars which were static in position but which displayed what appeared to be two or three coloured rotating lights. This was clear to me through binoculars but not to my eye. The other odd aspect of the night sky was that, for a period of maybe fifteen minutes the sky would brighten slightly, from horizon to horizon, and then dim again. It was quite beautiful to observe and almost like a ripple effect.
There were about eight or nine people present on both nights. Most of them were present on both nights. The following night was quiet.

Other Details: This object was seen approaching at great speed, but was no longer visible once it passed behind the tree.The witness has stated that the object was silent - the aeroplane that can be heard on the tape was a conventional aircraft off to the East (which was also seen and filmed by the witness).
This is analogue video shot on an old camera, and converted to digital. The conversion process is far from perfect, and the original tape is much clearer (when played directly through a TV). Watching the video frame-by-frame the object appears to be changing shape as it moves, or perhaps rotating. It has been suggested that the object's rapid movement could result in this visual distortion. We will attempt to get a better quality conversion in the future.

Maroubra, New South Wales Australia Smaller Light Shoots Off Larger One

Other Details: The very bright light in this clip is NOT a UFO. It's the moon, and this is just the way the moon looks when shot with this video camera at night. The UFO is the small light which appears at the same point in the frame as the moon. The witness had seen a bright light over his house, and we have five minutes of footage where the witness searches for the object unsuccessfully. Finally, the object is seen moving rapidly across the screen.

Castlemaine, Victoria Australia Three Object Falling Behind The Clouds

Witnesses: Three witnesses.
Other Details: The witness who shot this footage only saw one object with the naked eye. Although he assumed it to be a balloon, he started filming, just in case. The other objects came into frame once he'd started filming and were also seen briefly by two other witnesses who were present. NOTE: These objects are not simply drifting or falling, as there are subtle changes in direction and speed.

Wembley Downs, Western Australia Bright Light Over The Ocean

Witness: One witness.
Other Details: Looking in the direction of the coast, the witness estimates that this light was over the ocean. It was visible in this position for over two minutes. (The full video tape shows the light in that position for over a minute, but it's not the most compelling footage, so we've kept the clip short.)

Coastal Perth, Western Australia Multiple Lights Hovering
Date: July 16, 2006 Time: Evening
Witnesses: 1
Other details: The witness says this object was considerably brighter when first seen, and he assumed it was an aircraft, as this is a part of the coast with considerable air traffic. It was only when the object stopped and hovered in the same place that he paid close attention, and then managed to get this footage.

Casa Grande, Arizona 3 Strange Very Bright Lights

Time: 1:10 a.m.
Message: Me and my son (12) was traveling on the early mornings (1.10 AM) of July 22, 06 in Casa Grande, AZ towards Tucson, AZ on I-10, when we have noticed 3 strange very bright lights mounted like on a huge pole.
The object was traveling very low to the ground from the left of the Freeway 10 towards the other side. The closer the object got the more we was sure that this was not an airplane. It was making very strange and very quick moves.
Then it just stopped on the right side of the Freeway (lights towards the Freeway) for at least a minute.
It was flying then up north towards Phoenix. We both was able to see the backlights of the object, which was like 2 huge pole's and they was bend in the middle towards each other and mounted with bunch of red lights.
We are not sure what it was, but it was very strange shaped.

Full Description of event/sighting: Sitting on my back porch at midnight last night I saw a beam of light on the side of the mountain near our house. The beam of light was coming from an object hovering near the mountain. The object had different coloured lights which were either flashing or moving around it.

Houston, British Columbia Large Bright Light

Time: 11:45 p.m.
HBCC UFO Research spoke to the fellow who resides in my home town of Houston, B.C. today. He related a short sighting he had on July 26, 2006 at 11:45 p.m. The man was sitting on his porch as he does almost every night, watching the night sky on clear nights. On this particular evening he was looking down his driveway, which faces directly to the south when out of know where a large brilliant white colored light appeared and traveling northward. He watched it as the object grew even brighter, then thought about his video camera which was sitting right beside of him. He grabbed the camera and fiddled with it quickly to get it turned on, yet still keeping his eye on the object. Before he could get the camera pointed in the direction of the object, it just vanished. He told me he was still wondering what it was he witnessed.

Trail, B.C. Lights Making 90 Degree Angles & More

I also wanted to mention that almost every night for the past week or so, my girlfriend, from her balcony, has spotted many bright, high speed lights moving across the sky, some stopping, doing 90 Degree angles, and blinking right out mid sky, as well as multiple moving lights at-once, and several sightings involved what appears to be airplanes following them, or spotted near them. I'm trying to convince her to contact you herself so you have a first-hand account, that is of greater detail. I will let her know I've mentioned it.

Woodbridge Township, New Jersey Blinking Light Moving In A Zig Zag Pattern

Shape of objects: Blinking lights.
Full Description of event/sighting: I saw a blinking light moving across the sky at what appears to be a high rate of speed. The lights started moving in a zig zag pattern as if evading something and disappeared.
The entire episode lasted about 5 minuets from one end of the sky to the next.
