This week's files cover: Underwater Base off Canadian Coast, Astronaut
Edgar Mitchell comments, Mars strange photo, Possible UFO crash in Iran,
and UAVs Probably Now Flying over Iran.
Unidentified Aerial Phenomena were spotted over: Arkansas, California,
Colorado, Georgia, Hawaii, Maryland, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee.
UFOs were also seen in Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Columbia, and Iran. These
Files assume that extraterrestrial intelligent life not only exists, but my
hypothesis is that the over one hundred UFOs reported each week represent
technologically advanced spacecraft conducting surveillance of Earth. I
personally became interested in UFOs when I chased one over England when
flying for the US Air Force. I've been investigating them ever since.
The US Air Force under Project Blue Book investigated UFOs for more than
twenty years, we continue this research. Our goal is to uncover the secrets
of UFOs. We are continuing the investigation and make the assumption we are
not alone in the universe. Based on the large number of sightings we can
assume the watchers have had bases on Earth for thousands of years. The

Atlantic Commander Bethune's Underwater Base
T. R. Dutton writes, "After watching through the Disclosure Project video,
I was privileged to talk with the late Commander. Graham Bethune over the `
phone, just a short time before, regretfully, he departed from this world.
"He told me that he had good reasons to be sure he had seen an underwater
base off Newfoundland, around midnight, on February 9, 1951." Forty
military personnel and air crew observed the UFO as it approached and flew
formation with the Navy Constellation aircraft. The flight crew described
it as a huge saucer shaped metallic machine having a large illuminated
outer ring. He referred me to Michael Hesemann's full account of the
happening given in his book, `UFOs - The Secret History'. I looked up this
information to locate the position where the large disc/dome UFO had
apparently climbed near the Navy DC-4. I fed the details of the event
through the programs of my Astronautical Theory (AT) for UFO CE events,
which I'd formulated after more than 30 years of analysis.
The foundation of my theory is my discovery that the spacecraft delivering
and retrieving the Strange Aerial Craft (SAC), reported from all over
world, were following a programmed astronautical procedure. They were
approaching from, and returning into, the solar system, referencing
predetermined positions in the sky. On each spacecraft's arrival, it
followed one of a fixed (permanently established) set of orbit-like paths,
which would take it over the predetermined target to be surveyed. These
fixed paths over the ground below are the equivalents of the air lanes
followed by civil aircraft) It then released an SAC (exploration craft)
into the atmosphere before accelerating rapidly back into space. The time
allowed for the fully automated SAC's mission was determined by the
availability of another fixed path, which would provide access to that
target area and enable the SAC probe to be retrieved. After retrieval, the
retrieving spacecraft then accelerated away, as happened during the
delivery sequence. This AT scenario has now been tested on well over 1000
cases and the results have left little doubt that the ET's programmed
activities are being simulated very effectively.
1st Computation and Graphs. Top left, is presented a list of seven of the
nearest access paths to the specified target area. On the first set of
graphs, the target was the DC-4's estimated location when the ring of
lights was first spotted. The navigator gave the aircraft's course as 230
degrees (Mag?) for Argentia, Newfoundland. These details have been drawn
onto the Lat/Long grid map, top right. Using Bethune's estimated direction
and distance the location is represented by an upright cross at 49.67
degrees North / 50.86 degrees West. (Shown as X in Atlantic)
There are 4 sets of 7 lines presented, superimposed on a doubled time scale
for each day of any year. There are 7 lines in each set that are numbered 1
to 7 and these timing lines correspond to tracks 1 to 7 drawn on the grid
map. A line is drawn vertically from February 9th and this line crosses one
of the dashed sloping lines at about 23:30 hours, the closest time to
Bethune's encounter. That timing is produced by Path # 5 that crosses to
the south of the DC-4's position and very close to the estimated location
of the ring of lights. The paths converge in the targeted area. This could
imply that this location could be well positioned to provide a temporary
underwater base for SACs launched from those paths, or waiting to be

Thank you, George, the Tampa article exaggerated my statements and was not
good reporting, but except for exaggeration was largely correct. I stand by
my statements that I have had no first hand UFO experiences or sightings,
but have been briefed by a number of credible military and intelligence
witness who have. I know of no sightings by astronauts while in space up
through the Apollo program; but of course, numerous from flying activity
while in the service. Anything else attributed to me is in error or

Astronaut: We've had Visitors
The Sixth Man to Walk on the Moon Shares His Unconventional Views.
ST. PETERSBURG - Waveney Ann Moore writes, "The aliens have landed. Thus
declared Apollo 14 astronaut Edgar Mitchell on Saturday to more than 200
admirers. "A few insiders know the truth... and are studying the bodies
that have been discovered," said Mitchell, who was the sixth man to walk on
the moon. Mitchell, who landed on the moon with Alan B. Shepard, said a
"cabal" of insiders stopped briefing presidents about extraterrestrials
after President Kennedy. For those who might consider his statements
farfetched, Mitchell, who has a doctorate in science from the Massachusetts
Institute of Technology, noted that 30 years ago it was accepted that man
was alone in the universe. Few people believe that now, he said. Besides
aliens, Mitchell talked about being freed of prostate cancer during a
healing ceremony and his epiphany while returning from the moon. "I had an
opportunity to be a tourist," he said, going on to speak about the
sensation he felt as he watched the Earth, moon and sun.
Raised as a Southern Baptist, Mitchell said his feeling of
interconnectedness could not be explained by traditional religion alone. He
later founded the Institute of Noetic Sciences. On its Web site, the
California organization says it conducts and sponsors "leading-edge
research into the potentials and powers of consciousness" and that it
explores "phenomena that do not necessarily fit conventional scientific
models, while maintaining a commitment to scientific rigor." Snip.

Mars Images Suggest Life
Norman Bryden writes, "This is an even larger resized section of the
previous posts showing the shape of the long white formations which I think
look like tubular structures. At this size you can see the structures in
between these long shapes better. Please look carefully at the areas to the
right of center in this section. You can see the strange openings and
appendages of the cluster shaped structures. The zoomed out versions at
different stages of this photograph can be seen from the images in the last

Arkansas Colonel Says Lights Not of This World
Van Buren -- A retired Air Force colonel who photographed mysterious,
colorful lights hovering over western Arkansas last week has ignited a
frenzy of interest in unexplained airborne phenomena, as WorldNetDaily,
(WND) has received numerous reports of similar sightings across the U.S.,
while a digital expert has filtered the pictures to reveal startling images
of what he says could be the "pilot" of the unidentified craft. "I believe
these lights were not of this world, and I feel a duty and responsibility
to come forward," said Col. Brian Fields, who spent nearly 32 years in the
military piloting F-16 fighter jets. "I have no idea what they were."
Joe Kovacs WorldNetDaily.com writes, "In the wake of reports of
unidentified objects flying over Chicago's O'Hare Airport, a retired Air
Force pilot has his own mystery with a rash of bright, colorful lights he
photographed hovering in skies over western Arkansas last week. "I believe
these lights were not of this world, and I feel a duty and responsibility
to come forward," Col. Brian Fields told WND. "I have no idea what they
were." Fields, 61, was cooking chicken at his Van Buren, home January 9
when just before 7 p.m., he observed two intensely bright lights as he
looked to the southeast close to the horizon.
"At first I thought they were landing lights from an aircraft," he said.
"As I continued to observe them they began to slowly disappear, then
suddenly one reappeared, followed by two, then three. On at least one
occasion four or five appeared. Each time they would slowly fade and
eventually disappear. This occurred several times and when they would
reappear they might do so in differing numbers and in different positions,
sometimes in a triangular shape, sometimes stacked on top of each other,
sometimes line abreast, etc. When the objects appeared they might stay
illuminated 10 or more minutes."
Fields says he's certain they were airborne. The retired colonel spent
close to 32 years in the military, flying F-16s as a member of the 188th
Fighter Wing of the Arkansas Air National Guard. "I'm certain it wasn't an
aircraft from Earth," said Fields, who also ruled out the possibility of
flares. They were some kind of energy or something." Fields grabbed his
Canon digital camera with 6 megapixel resolution to document what he and
his wife were seeing, and snapped numerous images of the mysterious lights,
which appeared white, yellow and orange. He says the phenomenon lasted an
hour and 15 minutes. "I just can't imagine other people didn't see it,"
Fields said, noting they appeared at times like a yo-yo at 5 to 10 degrees
above the horizon.
Earlier this month, the Chicago Tribune reported workers for United Air
Lines said they saw a flying saucer like object hovering "low over O'Hare
International Airport for several minutes before bolting through thick
clouds with such intense energy that it left an eerie hole in overcast
skies." That No v. 7 sighting took place just before sunset about 4:30 p.m.
According to Tribune columnist Jon Hilkevitch, "All the witnesses said the
object was dark gray and well defined in the overcast skies. They said the
craft, estimated by different accounts to be 6 feet to 24 feet in diameter,

Editor's Note: The image suggests the lights were out of focus using an
auto focus camera that was unable to focus on the lights at a distance. The

California Balls of Fire
Pittsburg -- At about 6:55 PM, on January 15, 2007; I was on my way to the
store headed east on Frontage Road with my ten year old daughter when I
noticed two bright reddish orange lights moving slow above Highway 4,
railroad exit. I thought it was helicopters but they made no noise, and
asked my daughter what is that? I noticed these two objects, turning west
very slowly, so I made a U-turn and told my daughter that I wanted to get
the binoculars from our home. Now, the objects were above my vehicle like
they were following us?
When we arrived at home, I asked my daughter to get her father and my 16
year old daughter. About 7:10 PM, we got the binoculars, my husband and my
10 year daughter both said it looked like three balls of fire. It was above
us and looked like a bright fire ball, then it disappeared. After one
disappeared, the other two followed after. I called 911, then UFO North
West 1 866-611-8367. Then at 9:30 PM, my husband went out to have a cigar,
then yelled, Lisa, I see one again! I called my 16 year old daughter to
take a picture with her Polaroid digital camera. When we looked at the
picture it looked like three objects instead one. Four of my neighbors also
saw it.
Manteca -- The witness has taken several videos recently and feels that she
is photographing unusual phenomena. On December 30, 2006, at 4:44 AM using
a Sony Handycam Digital Camcorder with tripod about 90 Miles east of San
Francisco.
Investigator's Notes: My initial impression is that the light could be a
meteor. It could possibly be a regular jet aircraft, but it doesn't exhibit
any strobing like you would see from a regular aircraft. The Quadrantids
meteor showers are supposed to have been visible from December 28, 2006 to
January 7, 2007. In conclusion I am not sure of the identification of the
object in this video. I do not believe that it is an "unconventional

Colorado Springs AIRPORT -- Chuck Zukowski, Colorado Assistant State MUFON
Director read the Colorado Springs sighting in Filer's Files # 1 concerning
the witness who was driving in blizzard conditions on December 20, at 8 AM
who took this picture.
I remember that day that morning roughly at 8:15 AM. I remember seeing
aircraft on the way to work because I called my wife and stated, "Well
there are planes going out of Colorado Springs so maybe this storm isn't
going to be that bad." But to challenge the sighting I did a little
investigating.
1. I Contacted Colorado Springs Airport Operations. They have not returned
my call as of this email
2. I Contacted Joan at "A Travel Advantage Inc" travel agency here in the
'Springs. She stated she thought airplanes were coming in and out that
morning. She showed no cancellations.
3. I Contacted Jeffry "representative with Northwest Airlines" He stated
Northwest had nothing going in or out until 2 PM that day.
4. I Contacted SkyWest Airlines which run shuttle services on 12/20/06.
a. 6:32 AM an Airplane took off.
b. 9:31 AM an Airplane landed at Colorado Springs.
Nothing was flying to Denver from Colorado Springs because Denver was shut
down but "not" Colorado Springs. She showed delays not cancellations from
Colorado Springs.
Summary: Using SkyWest as an example, airplanes did take off and land
within the 8 AM, time frame and the photo may be of an aircraft. The
Colorado Springs Airport was not closed. I also saw aircraft that morning
which confirmed that. This turned out to be a picture with an airplane in

Georgia Tom Sheets MUFON State Director Returns
I'm glad to report Tom Sheets is the new Georgia MUFON State Director. The
former director Mark Ausmus has done a great job and I thank him for his
excellent work.
NORTHERN GEORGIA - Brian Vike reports the witness wrote, "Hi, I saw your
pictures of "scoop marks" and I have a very similar mark on my right knee.
At first I thought it was an insect or spider bite, but it didn't heal and
it's been three days. When I woke up that morning, I felt strange, like
something just wasn't right. It felt like I had a mild hangover, but I had
nothing to drink the night before. When I got to work, my right knee felt
weird... not itchy, not stinging, more of a tingling sensation. I looked
down and saw what I thought was a spider bite or something -- there was a
small (about 1 mm) indentation in my flesh. It didn't bleed but it did leak
a clear puss substance (white blood cells?).
The leaking went on all day and then finally stopped. It's been three days
now and it's still not healed... there's no scab, just light red flesh in
the concave scooped area, and the skin around it is pink. I just figured it
was a spider bite or something until I saw the scoop mark pictures on
rense.com.

Hawaii Orange Lights and a Unknown Dome
Paia, Maui - On January 13,. 2007, about 7:53 PM, I stepped outside and
noticed a bright light coming from near the top on the northwest slope of
Haleakala Volcano,. Then a second light appeared just to the right of it,
then the first light faded out. For a moment I thought I was watching
aircraft, but soon a very bright orangish light appeared over the mountain,
much brighter than any aircraft light from that distance, then blinked out.
More lights appeared at various elevations, some in front of the volcano
face, some above. Some moved quickly like shooting stars, some kept a
steady trajectory and moved slower. They all seemed headed to the same
place, the location of the original light on the volcano. As many as seven
lights of various intensities were in the sky at once. After about 5
minutes, the quadrant of the sky over and in front of the mountain seemed
to brighten suddenly, like stadium lights had been turned on. I went in and
got my binoculars for a closer look. I could now tell they were definitely
not headlights or airplane lights.
In fact, over the past couple of months, I have noticed a bare spot in the
very area that this activity was taking place that has some reflective dome
structure. The other day as I drove up the mountain, that area was covered
with a huge white oval. This was very odd considering the mountainside
there is rugged and steep slopes, but this was a perfectly round, smooth
oval shape, probably the size of three football fields just sitting there.
At one point, a very strong bright organish light appeared high above the
area at or near the top of the mountain where I had noticed the other
lights seemed to be heading to. Then a light came on below it off to the
right, at what seemed to be this mystery location near the top of the
mountain. Then another bright, steady light appeared from the left and
moved across the top along the ridge of the mountain. When it reached a
position where it made a perfect triangle with the light above, it blinked
out, but the other two remained steady. Then it reappeared, at the same
altitude but much closer to the light on the mountain. It slowly moved to
the left till it merged with the light on the mountain. Then all three went

Maryland Blinking With Two Large Flood Lights
Joppa Town - On January 17, 2007, my husband, myself and our two daughters
were driving home from my father's house on Route 40 East heading east from
Baltimore to Edgewood Maryland. Right before we hit Joppa Town, there was
an object about 100 feet up to the left of the car that I thought was an
airplane. Then, I noticed it wasn't moving and it was blinking two large
flood lights in the front and on the sides. They were flashing on and off
slowly. There were numerous small blinking red lights that were blinking
around the perimeter, they were blinking at a much faster rate. It hovered
there, and we were actually driving, we never saw it leave, it just got out
of our view. It made me just feel very confused. I really thought it was a
plane, so I was looking at it waiting for it to move. My husband was seeing
this also. He is the one who pointed out to me it was not a plane. We live
very close to Aberdeen Proving Grounds. I'm more inclined to think it was

Michigan Orb UFO
Clinton County -- Patty Donahue I recently took photos of strange orb like
objects near my home at 8:58 PM. What the strange part is, is that the
pictures show NOTHING like what my husband and I both saw. I asked him
again last night, and he agreed, the smaller object looked like a white

Kentucky Small Puncture Marks
I awoke this morning, Thursday, January 18, 2007. I was very cold, and my
right hand was numb. The house was warm, thermostat at 69 degrees. My
entire right side felt so cold. It was about half an hour before I could
warm up my right side. I felt a soreness in my left arm and found a small
bruise (about two inches in diameter) with three very small puncture marks
that was not there when I went to bed. Wednesday evening I was feeling very
tired and went to bed early, about 9:45 pm. This is odd for normally I stay
up until nearly midnight before I go to bed, and I always get up at 5 am.
This morning it was 6:34 AM when I awakened. I keep an alarm clock beside
my bed, with lighted red numbers showing the time. It is now about 16 hours
after I awakened and the bruise has shrunk in size quite a bit, and the
three puncture marks are almost healed. I have taken four photos of the
injury.
Today when I took the picture of my injury, a red circle appeared in the
view screen, centered on the bruise. My camera does not have a targeting
grid or cross hairs in the view finder. I cannot explain this. I am a MUFON
Field Investigator #10332.
North Carolina Low Level Lights
Fayetteville -- It was January 14, 2007, at 9:26 PM, my brother, his
friend, and I were outside on the trampoline. We were looking at the sky
watching the stars when all of a sudden we saw some arrows pointing north.
It was big with lights but as it got closer the lights became red. We all
watched in amazement as the ship quickly dashed away and disappeared. After
that we saw a few more, but we did not stop going outside that night or
after that. We are all still in amazement for that night we saw UFOs.

Ohio Oval Shaped UFO with Bright Beam of Light
Sheffield Lake - The witness says, " What I saw on January 4, 2007, at 8:30
PM EST, was something really strange. I saw an oval shaped object in the
sky with blinking lights on the side about 10 Miles West of Cleveland." The
colors were blue, red, green and many more. Then there was a really bright
white beam that came from the underside of the object. Visibility was 10
miles in light rain with broken clouds and overcast skies at 9,500 Feet.
Investigator's Notes: Whatever the witness saw was flying under 6,000 feet
given the cloud conditions at the time of the sighting. More description is
needed regarding the white beam mentioned by the witness. I have written to
the witness to obtain more details. This case will be referred to a local

Pennsylvania UFO Photographed
Frogtown -- Late on the night of Wednesday, January 17, around 11:30 PM, I
noticed a strange red light is the sky. It was about the size of a car and
was falling from the sky from east to west over 272 in the area of Shiprock
road. My girlfriend and I were taking our dog out when we noticed it. It
was a reddish pinkish color with a reddish haze around the outside. The
light from the object was so bright that the pavement on the road had the
red light cast on it. It fell slowly towards the West and once it was close
to the ground suddenly disappeared. I am extremely skeptical as to what
this was. I know it was not a flair, this was far too big, high and bright
but similar in color. I called WGAL (News 8) right when I had seen this and
reported it.
Then on Thursday a friend who was traveling north about 2 miles from where
I was on the 17th, at 11:30, had reported seeing the same mysterious light.
Our stories were identical when we compared notes. I know more people had
seen the object, there were cars traveling on 272 at the time and there's
no way you could miss this thing. I would greatly appreciate if you looked
into this further. This was a large object, again about the size of a 4
door car, where ever it landed it should be visible. It went down behind
the tree line somewhere starting from the west of 272 in the Shiprock road
area heading towards the Frogtown area. Please let me know if your hear

Tennessee White Light
Mountain City -- Witness reports that he was stopped at a traffic light on
the south side of town on January 2, 2007, at 07:25 AM, when he spotted a
metallic disc shaped object moving slowly westward under solid cloud cover.
As he watched the object, a driver beside him rolled down his window and
yelled at the reporting witness regarding the object. The witness then
rolled down his window to answer the other witness and as they looked back

Nashville AIRBORNE --I was looking out of the airplane's window on December
17, 2007,when out of nowhere a large, rocket-shaped UFO appeared. It was
right outside of my window moving at a slow, steady pace. It was as large
as the wing of the plane with a metallic body, a silver nose, and without
wings. It was very close to the top of the plane and flew directly over my
head. Behind it was a white stream of smoke. I do not think anyone else
noticed it, as most people were sleeping or focused on something else.
Because I didn't want to alarm anyone, I did not go to the other side of
the plane to see it. I was not sure what I saw, so I didn't say anything
until I realized what I saw was, in fact, a UFO. Thanks to MUFON CMS

Argentina: Mystery Crash
EL MANZANO MOUNTAIN -- Beatriz Prieto of the Las Palmas farm informed
police that an object had crashed or collided against the slopes of the El
Manzano Mountain on mid-morning January 18, 2007. The nature of the body is
still undetermined, but numerous witnesses claim having seen a fireball
falling at high speed against the Andean massif. "It looked like an
airplane in flames that exploded when it hit ground," Police determined
that the crash on an unknown flying object occurred against one of the
peak's slopes at an altitude of 4200 meters and about 100 km from Quijano.
Dardo Gustavo Tolaba, chief of the Chicoana Sheriffs' Office, claims that
they managed to see the object with high resolution binoculars during our
approach and we saw it was something large and metallic. A Civil Aviation
airplane took off early yesterday to photograph it, but was unable to reach
the high altitude and returned to the airport. A recovery team reached the
impact area looking for survivors but found no indication of a crash of any
kind.

Brazil Photo Taken by Former Military
Natal -- Photo taken by Roberto Di Sena, former military. He described
taken the photo anytime between 8:30 and 10 AM, on November 26, 2006, in a
location called Alagamar, periphery of the city of Natal, state of Rio
Grande no Norte, Brazil. Di Sena did not observe anything unusual in the
sky and took several pictures at random, deleting a few later. Fortunately,
he did not delete this one. The camera used was a Pentax Optio 60 6.0

Once again I would like to state that we do have footage and many pictures
of the sighting. At one time a pink light came just the same, but closer to
us, then it left in a quick minute. At the time we were just watching TV in
our room and it appeared. It was so bright it caught our attention very
quickly. We knew right away it was a UFO.

Iran Shoots Down U.S. Spy Drone
TEHRAN -- Liang Youchang, reports, "Iranian troops recently shot down a
U.S. pilotless spy plane, an Iranian parliament lawmaker Seyed Nezam Mola

Northrop Grumman is developing the J-UCAS (Joint Unmanned Combat Air
Systems) designated X-47B to conduct surveillance and launch weapons. This
aircraft is unmanned and being developed for both the Air Force and Navy.
The airframe of the X-47B is the size of a jet fighter. It has a powerful
P&W F 100 turbofan engine, and redesigned outer wing sections and
intake/exhaust configurations. The wing extensions provide for longer range
and better low-speed characteristics, and are foldable to reduce parking
space on an aircraft carrier. The payload capacity for J-UCAS was to be
2040 kg (4500 lb), representing two GBU-31/B JDAM (Joint Direct Attack
Munitions) GPS/INS-guided bombs. Northrop Grumman was under contract to
build two (originally three) X-47Bs, and flight testing, together with the
rival Boeing X-45C, was expected to begin in 2007. Other classified
programs are under development and may be tested over Iran. General atomics
is already building the Reaper and Predator. It is working on a new
improved Predator C with a new airframe with stealth qualities and low
