UFO/Missing Time - Several Officers & General From Mc Dill Question
Witness

Date: Early 1970's
Time: N/A

This sounds like another one of the experiences where the government asks
questions, but doesn't tell anyone anything.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Disk

Full Description of event/sighting: Brian, I read your reports and notice
that many of sightings are probably aircraft from earth or Planets low in
the sky but occasionally I find something very interesting - often it
isn't from a sighting from today but rather from someone stating something
from years ago. I do not discount these sightings or any of the stories
in your reports. As you will see I have finally decided to tell you a
story that could land me in trouble as I signed a non-discloser agreement
many years ago. I am a pilot with an aeronautical science background and
have specialized training with the US Air Force. I would like to remain
anonymous hence my e-mail.

When I was a child growing up on the New Jersey shore I had an experience.
I was fishing with a friend - it was in the early seventies - we where in
our early teens. We were next to older men that lived on my friends block
- although I didn't know them very well, they were very nice and liked the
fact that young kids would be out fishing in the dark without fear.
Everyone was having a good time and a few fish were taken and everyone was
getting hits. The older men said we could have some of their bait as we
were out. They (name removed had a Jeep wagon on the beach and said we
could go up and use his bait in the back. We did. After hooking up my
friend, I saw a very bright big light green disc directly over us that
flashed East into the darkness over the Atlantic. We both looked at each
other and at the same time said, "did you see that." then both laughed and
did a wow that was weird. But not quite as weird as when we walked back
to the old men. They said, "We thought you boys went home." That is when
we notice that the tide had gone out as though an hour or two had passed.
But we knew we were only gone a few minutes - we didn't say anything, in
fact we never talked about it again. It was all very strange but that was
life in the seventies.

More then ten years later I was awoken by my girl friend who was having
trouble waking me. I hadn't felt well and left school midday Wednesday and
was surprised to see her a couple of days early and said so. Turns out she
wasn't early but in fact I had been in a comma for two days. I had taken a
US Air Force chamber flight on Tuesday and passed out on the following day
to be awaken by my girl friend on Friday night. She thought I was kidding,
and I told her I felt like I got hit by a truck and asked her to look in
my book bag. It had a list of symptoms of High Altitude decompression
sickness on an Air Force Form. I had the every symptom on the list. It had
an emergency phone number for US Air Force Metabolic unit in Texas. She
called and they hung up and called back minutes later with instructions
and direction to the closest hospital. To make a long story short, I ended
up choosing not to be sent to a unit that could recompress me and spent a
week in the local hospital. The Air Force paid everything and my school
rescheduled my finals. Later I found out that my records of being
hospitalized had been altered to causes unknown with a John Doe as my
name.

Now the weird part, I was contacted about two months later by the Air
Force and asked to meet them at a hotel on the Beach not far from my home
to discuss the results of their study. I had been thinking that they must
have had a leak in the oxygen line and I had not pre-breathed pure O2. I
went to the meeting. I was met at the door by an Air force sergeant that
was armed with a shoulder holstered 45. He asked me to enter and then
gave me a very brief pat down and apologized explaining that no one sees
the General without the proper procedures (I had no idea that a general
would be there). There was the General seated on a couch and several
officers from Mc Dill standing around that had flown with me at the Unit.
I notice a very big tape recorder, which they switch on as I was asked to
sit down on an apposing couch, which I did. They had a large report on
their facilities and had those present to explain any questions I might
have. They told me that everything was fine at the flight unit and they
where at a loss to explain my situation. One of the base officers gave a
briefing that assured me that nothing was wrong with the equipment.

I was at a loss. The General then asked me how I felt and if I had
anything to add, which I didn't. I didn't want to lose my flight ticket
with US Navy and basically wanted to forget the whole thing. I told them I
was fine and was fit to fly. One of the medical flight officers stated
that I might have been fatigued, which I may have been. The General said
that he wanted me to read the summary report and NDA and to sign it. I
did. He then said, "Maybe you're just a bubbler?" Which insulted me, as I
had never heard of that expression before. I was about to get up to leave
when the General said, "one more question: you haven't been to outer space
before, have you?" I remained silent and looked at everyone and realized
he was serious as no one was smiling, just the tape recorder moving. I
smiled and said, "no, not as far as I know, sir." He held out his hand
and I shook it.

I handed the signed paperwork with left hand to the captain who was
reaching for it, the major shut off the tape recorder. The General then
said, "you're one tough son of bitch son" - and asked me if I remembered
talking to him on the phone in the emergency room, I had but didn't know
it was him until that moment. "Your flying Navy I see", he said. I said,
"Affirmative sir" He asked, "why" I responded: "am to old for you guys."
He laughed and said, "To bad we need your type." I said, "Yes sir." The
Sergeant walked me to the door opened it and held out his hand, which I
still am not sure why. I shook it; he then patted me on my left shoulder
and nodded in the affirmative. I went directly to the hotel bar down
stairs and had a shot. I have never told anyone this story, not a girl
friend, pilot buddies, relatives or my life long fishing buddy. I cannot
explain what happened at the hotel but remember it as though it was
yesterday. Nor have I ever forgotten the Green disk that disappeared in a
flash with the tide.

Today I do not have a current flight medical and am struggling with body
pain most will never know. I have a very successful financial business but
still am at a loss to explain the events of many years ago. I can say this
with complete confidence - the Government can and does change records and
events. Brian I am sorry that I didn't have very good story, but I live
with my pain daily and found writing this very difficult as I shed a few
tears. I just wish I could remember the missing time of the night of the
green disk so that I might have been able to answer the General's question
about flying in space with an: "Affirmative, Sir." Yours truly.

Thank you to the person for this most interesting story. Also like this
person, I wonder what did take place.

Navajo Reservation, New Mexico Green Light Crashes Into Mountains

HBCC UFO Research Note: I believe this is the third report from this area
on this sighting from the 1990's. If anyone else has information on this
event, would you please contact me. What I find unusual is why would
helicopters and who knows what be flying to a crash site. No reported
aircraft were down as far as I know, and if the object was a meteor, then
why all the fuss. So this report along with the others is darn
interesting.

Date: Mid or early 1990's
Time: N/A

Message: There was something that happen in the mid 90's, might have been
early 90's. There was a strange crash in the mountains or near mountains
on the Navajo Reservation, New Mexico. There was a strange green light
when it happened. I remember seeing lots of huge helicopters heading from
the Farmington area and racing towards the mountains. My brother worked at
a Prep school in Farmington which is for Navajo students. Even some of the
boys there could see it and there was one student talking to a family
member in the area where the strange green light was seen and the family
members reported the power going on in the area and then the phone went
off. In Shiprock at the same time the power went off for a few seconds.
There was confused chatter on the Police radio also because my mother had
a police scanner. I was wondering what that was because I don't seem to
recall anything being reported about it, there might have been and I just
missed it. Just wondering if anyone ever heard of this?

Jacksonville, Florida (Arlington Area) Classic Disk Shaped Craft

Date: September 2003
Time: 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Classic disk.

Full Description of event/sighting: My son, (age 10), and I were in our
backyard swimming and we were looking at jetliner contrails as we are in
an area of lots of north/south air traffic. I was pointing out what
appeared to be two planes traveling parallel, although at different
altitudes headed north, and one jet heading south. I was telling my son
that they would make a tri-angle if you connected the dots. That's why we
were looking up when something very large just behind a cloud appeared.

Just as I saw it my son said, "Dad, what's that"? Since I had seen
objects before I was not really surprised except by the size of this
thing. It looked like it must have been 300 feet across the diameter and
was silvery and metallic looking showing no motion. Judging from the size
it could not have been more than a mile away and guessing around 3500 to
5000 feet in altitude. As the one single cloud slipped in front of our
view I was watching the perimeter of the cloud awaiting a
re-appearance....none came. The cloud moved away and the disk was gone.
Overall we viewed the disk around 10-15 seconds in broad daylight.

Brooklin, Ontario Loud Sound And Nothing To Be Seen

Date: July 1st (?)
Time: Approx: 2:00 p.m.

Location of Sighting: It wasn't a sighting is was a loud engine noise.
Number of witnesses: 1

Full Description of event/sighting: I was swimming in my pool like I do
everyday at about 2:00pm or so. I hear what sounds like a 747. I'm
thinking it's really low to the ground because of the loud noise it's
making. I don't get care about loud noises, they don't scare me. I'm a
grown man and pretty tough I would say. No noise is going to scare me off.
But picture this. The sky is as blue as it gets, and for about 2 minutes
this noise gets louder and louder and louder with no plane any where. Like
a scared little school girl I call out to my neighbor who I thought was
working on his deck in his yard. No answer. I literally went in the house
to get out of the way. There was no plane. There was no plane, nothing
makes that noise in the air except a plane. I don't know anymore.

Edmonton, Alberta Delta Wing Shaped Craft With 8 Rectangular Ports

Date: August 13, 2006
Time: Approx: 2:33 a.m.

Message: Last August 13th, in the wee hours of the morning, I was
observing the Perseids meteor shower. At approximately 2:33, something
moving in the sky caught my eye. The object appeared from behind a 30
story apartment complex which is approximately 500 meters from where I was
observing.

The object was fairly difficult to see since it had no visible lights on
it and it was in during the darkest part of the evening. It's elevation,
with respect to the horizon was approximately 15 degrees, and is seemed to
be within 2 or 3 kilometers distance from my observation point.

The moon was almost full and was very low on the horizon that night. The
object was traveling horizontally from my vantage point, so I had a side
view of it. Suddenly, it took a slow turn towards the east. As it did,
it's underside became illuminated by the bright moon. It was clearly
shaped like a delta wing with 8 rectangular ports on its underside which
had a cyan colored luminescent glow to them (engine ports?) The object
finished its turn so that I now had a rear view of it, and then took off
away from me so quickly that within 1/2 second it had become a pinpoint
and then disappeared.

In all, the object traveled about 20 degrees of sky in 4 or 5 seconds
(while I had the thin side view). I thought I was dreaming to be honest.
But I was wide awake, sober and it was real. Only after much soul
searching that I decided to report this. I am not one who believes in ET's
and such nonsense, but this was real, and it has shaken my non-belief a
little.
 Additional Information:
I guess I should have included location information so here it is. The
location is Edmonton, Alberta - specifically on the edge of the river
valley at Saskatchewan Drive and (removed)th Street. The object appeared
in an east-north-east direction in the sky and ended up due east when it
disappeared.

Burnaby Mountain Burnaby, B.C. White Strobing Light

Date: August 26, 2006
Time: 10:00 p.m.

Another strange object flying east, right at this moment, 22;15
disappearing over Burke Mountain. I had my camera aimed over Grouse and
Seymour just to see if I could pick up any thing unusual. Night vision on
and set at wide angle.

22:00 approximately noticed white strobe just over Burnaby Mountain
appeared to be stationary and I knew there are no towers with white
strobes over there. I glanced over there but could not see the strobe with
the naked eye. Checked with binoculars and could just make it out, zoomed
in with camera and found it to be two white lights which appeared similar
in spacing to car headlights, I said strobing but it was more like pulsing
and not as bright as a strobe, more like headlights being turned on and
off. One thing unusual was the lights did not smear like you get at night
with moving aircraft. Also found the lights to be moving very slowly east,
much to slow to be an aircraft, could have been a chopper but did not look
like one. Estimated speed about 5 to 10 miles an hour.

At it's closest point to me which would be beside Heritage Mountain in
Port Moody I could see a light colored body behind the lights but not make
out any definite shape, when the light dimmed I could still see a dim glow
from them. I checked with my big binoculars but could only see the lights
and only when at their brightest. Object last seen over Burke Mountain in
Coquitlam still headed east. When first seen it was just over Burnaby
Mountain at approximately 1500 feet and must have been slowly climbing as
it appeared to go over Burke Mountain and not around it. So probably up to
5000 feet when last seen.

Coquitlam, British Columbia Three Bright Lights

Date: August 26, 2006
Time: 11:40 p.m.

Message: Call me crazy. I saw some weird lights in the sky (over
Coquitlam) just now at 11:40 pm. There were three bright lights. I stopped
looking. Came back to look again. One very bright light (part red and part
white) remained. Unlike any light I have seen in the sky. The light
hovered, brightly over the tree-line for a few minutes. Then it became a
small red light and moved quickly away.

Ankeny Airfield, Iowa Object With Lghts In A Circular Pattern

Date: August 26, 2006
Time: Around 9:30 or 10:00 p.m.

Message: I've always been skeptical about supposed UFO sightings until
last night. I was driving down Interstate 35 through Ankeny into Des
Moines, IA around 9:30 or 10pm on Saturday, August 26th. As I was coming
up on the Ankeny Airfield I saw what I thought was an airplane coming in
to land. I watched it for a while expecting it to descend but the longer I
watched it the more I realized that it wasn't moving. It had flashing
bright white lights in a circular pattern and so I thought that maybe it
was a balloon of some sort or a tower. As we actually passed it, I could
see it much more clearly because of the lights. It was hovering maybe a
hundred feet above the ground immediately off the interstate and it was
black and triangular. I could even see the texture of it. It had lights
on each corner and they were flashing in succession. It was maybe 4 or 5
feet thick. I watched the object for probably a total of 2 minutes.

I was a little "weirded out" but decided that I had never heard of a
triangular UFO and laughed it off. When I arrived at my destination, I
told the whole story to a friend who told me that he had heard of flying
triangles being spotted. We drove back to take a better look only to find
no trace of the object! I'm surprised that I have heard no news of this,
as I'm sure anything unidentified flying near an airport would be tracked
to death these days, but I know I definitely saw something out of the
ordinary!

City of Edmonton, Alberta Boomerang Shaped UFOs

Date: August 26, 2006
Time: 10:45 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 1? or 7-8
Shape of objects: Boomerang-shaped

Full Description of event/sighting: My 13-year old son and I were sitting
at our backyard firepit talking and looking up at the stars from our lawn
chairs in the dark. Suddenly, a formation of 7 or 8 boomerang or
arrowhead shaped objects appeared, flying north to south from above our
garage roof. The appearance was so striking and strange that each of us
instinctively jumped out of our chair and actually stumbled over one
another to get a longer look before they disappeared over our house and
into the distance. They disappeared incredibly fast despite their
altitude, we just looked at each other and said "did you see that"? They
were brightly lit in a way I would describe as similar to a child's
glow-stick (white). They appeared to be flying in synch with one another
in a V or L shaped formation.

Strangely, they appeared to be part of, or lights on, a larger but somehow
transparent object. It appeared to be flying an altitude approximately
that of a helicopter, lower than a commuter plane. There was no sound. I
am considerably versed in existing and historical military aircraft, and
this one has me baffled. It is definitely a "UFO" sighting in my books.

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Three Lights In An Equilateral Triangle Formation

Date: August 26, 2006
Time: Approx: 11:30 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Triangular

Full Description of event/sighting: I'm not sure if this is anything, or
not. I was in downtown Saskatoon, at the foot of the Broadway Bridge,
following a bridge party and fireworks display in celebration of the
city's centennial (the city had shut down one of our major river crossings
for an evening street celebration). The streets were pretty much vacant by
about 11:30 p.m., except for a few clean-up crews and security personnel.
Something in the sky caught my attention out of the corner of my eye. I
looked up, roughly northward well over the tops of the high downtown
buildings, just in time to see what appeared to be three lights in an
equilateral triangle formation fade into the darkness. I blinked a couple
of times to see if there was something really there or I might have been
imagining it. But that was it, three lights fading into the night sky over
the city. Nothing else. The whole event lasted maybe a second or two. I
looked around to see if anyone else was looking at the sky, but everyone
was focused on their own task or the activity on the bridge.

My eyes could have been playing tricks on me. I didn't see enough to know
if I really saw anything. I was pretty tired after a long day, but I had
not been drinking or taking any other mind altering substances. However,
just in case anyone else thinks they might have seen something that night,
I thought it might be useful to have this report on file.

Aylmer, Quebec Object Broke Formation

Date: August 28, 2006
Time: 8:45 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 3
Shape of objects: Stars/Orbs?

Full Description of event/sighting: Objects appeared very bright
yellow/orange stars in the lower north sky in a line parallel to the
horizon. Objects appeared to come closer in this horizontal formation and
then proceeded to move upwards, at this point one of the three objects
moved out of the horizontal formation. It appeared as if one of the
objects (the one which broke formation) became dim and then became bright
over a period of thirty seconds. The objects disappeared as there location
approached the little dipper. We tracked the objects for approximately 5
minutes. I attempted to video tape the episode however I do not think
that there was enough contrast to see anything

Pontiac to Aylmer, Quebec 3 Bright Orange Lights

Date: August 28, 2006
Time: Approx: 8:40 p.m.

Message: At about 8:40 pm last night I was leaving home in the Pontiac
Quebec for a Softball game on Roy Street in Aylmer, as I was coming closer
to Aylmer on the 148 I saw these 3 bright orange lights. When I turned on
Front street I stopped my car to look at these light and wondering what
they were. I noticed a couple of kids looking up in the sky when I got to
the ball field on Roy Street. I told a couple of my friends what I had
seen and that's when I learned that some sightings were seen before, and
it was published in the Aylmer Bulletin. I couldn't of known that cause I
don't get the Aylmer Bulletin. I also called my husband in the Pontiac
and asked him if he could see those lights but he couldn't cause they were
to low.

Aylmer, Quebec Witnesses Observe Three Balls Of Light Stationary

Date: August 28, 2006
Time: Approx: 8:40 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 3
Shape of objects: Balls of light.

Full Description of event/sighting: On the evening of August 28, 2006 at
approximately 8:40 p.m. my wife and I were finishing a walk with our dogs
when, as we turned onto our street facing west, we saw three balls of
light stationary in the sky over west Ottawa/Gatineau. It was difficult
to estimate distance, but the objects were west/south-west of our location
in Aylmer.

The balls of light were a reddish orange colour, many times brighter than
any star, of which there were a number in the sky to compare. I initially
thought the objects were helicopters, although, as noted, they were
completely motionless for several minutes and there was no discernable
noise coming from them (given the brightness of the lights, I would expect
that, if they were helicopters, they would be almost directly overhead).
A plane flew beneath the objects indicating again, for comparative
purposes, that these did not resemble in any way normal aircraft flying at
night. The balls were in a triangle formation, with two objects
horizontal to each other and fairly close together, and the third higher
and between the others.

As we approached our house, my wife went inside to get the camera. I
turned my attention to something else for a minute and when my wife had
returned with the camera and I had refocused on the objects, we noted that
one had disappeared. Looking carefully, I could faintly see it moving to
the south, although it had diminished in its intensity. Several moments
later, the ball that had been beside it also began moving to the south,
following the path of the first. It also lost its intensity almost
immediately. Then the third object moved in the same direction, following
the track of the first two and also becoming more faint. The time
interval between the movements of the objects was approx. 15 to 20
seconds.

Although I am generally not a believer, nor overly interested, in UFO
theories or phenomenon, I cannot conclude that the objects were aircraft
in the conventional sense. Unless the event was some type of planetary or
heavenly phenomenon, I could not provide any other idea of what may have
happened. In the rush to take a photo, the objects did not show up
clearly, although they resemble the objects caught by camera and posted in
another report on this site.
