Hi Peter and fellow aliens,
Sorry 'bout that, it looks like the Klingons got a bit too close to a
black hole. At least the ship didn't disappear entirely as it would have
had it been sent as packet mail, those Earthers have a bad habit of
messing things up.
The last time the Enterprise got coated with space fungus they had to
send those red shirts out to scrape it off but at least they managed to
clean the other ship with phasors, maybe they didn't think of a
reflector, oh well. It gave me an idea though, the last time I painted
the deck of my ship I mixed sand with the paint, now I can send blue
shirts out to do the cleaning without worrying they'll slip off. Yeah, I
ran out of red shirts.
Oh good grief, that "axe and nut party" has attracted your attention too.
The trouble is I can't figure out which is the axe and which is the nut
nor can I figure out why diplomacy failed. Maybe they need a Vulcan to
negotiate this packet mess, I'm getting ready to send in the Klingons for
a bit of cleanup action. Maybe it's the problem with dihydrogen oxide,
they have too much on the island and not enough on the antipode, a fair
balance of trade might solve the problem since something seems to be
underlying the packet difficulties. Maybe they need some Ritalin even if
Kirk couldn't pronounce it correctly and fell in love with a robot trying
to get it. Whatever it is they need SOMETHING, Earthers are SO
quarrelsome.
Robby as a Zamboni? Yeah, I can just picture him pushing a broom over the
ice but I think he'd make a better hockey player, no teeth to knock out.
Peter, you seem to have forgotten what I said about Mel Brooks and Jews
In Space. They haven't figured out the slingshot effect and time travel
so I doubt they found Spock in Israel. There is a connection though, his
geneology places him among the Cohenim, the priestly class so he was
familiar with the blessing to begin with. Notice his father Sarek also
gave it often while other Vulcans didn't. One bunch you'd never expect it
from is thier cousins the Romulans, but then the Jews and Muslims having
the same relationship you wouldn't expect it from them either. Maybe you
noticed that a LOT was borrowed from ancient Middle Eastern culture so
there IS a connecton with Earth in the distant past. There is something
to be said about time-space travel and Carl Sagan only touched on it in
Cosmos, he named his ship Imagination while Gene Roddenberry named his
Enterprise. That just goes to show that some are dreamers and others
entrepeneurs, strange planet Earth.
It's nice to know you're sailing under the Southern Cross, that
constellation has a great significance I'm only just now beginning to
learn. Here's a bit of inspiration, give a listen to the Australian
National Anthem. Keep the sail side up and the keel side down, third star
to the left and sail on to morning.
(I wonder how confused the casual reader is by now, heh.)
