Hot Sightings
This weeks files cover: UFOs videotaped by Shuttle STS 120 and STS 80 are
Similar, Alien Messages Received by SETI, and Mars High Resolution Imaging.
Unidentified Flying Objects were spotted over: Arizona, Florida, Illinois,
Maryland, Michigan, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina,
Washington, Washington DC, and Wisconsin.
UFOs were also seen in Australia, Canada, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru,
Poland, Puerto Rico, Switzerland, Turkey,and the United Kingdom. These
Files assume that extraterrestrial intelligent life not only exists, but my
hypothesis is that of the over one hundred UFOs reported each week
represent technologically-advanced spacecraft conducting surveillance of
Earth. Uncorrelated targets enter our atmosphere four or five times a week.
Uncorrelated targets are those not contained in computer banks of objects
in space. The frequent visits to our planet indicate we humans are under
scrutiny while minerals, food and water are being taken. The United States
Air Force Blue Book Project conducted a worldwide investigation of UFOs
from 1947 until December 1969, when it allegedly disbanded its
investigative team. We are continuing the investigation and make the
assumption we are not alone in the universe.
UFOs videotaped by Shuttle STS 120 and 80 Similar
John Colaw writes, `The NASA footage of the large white object emerging
from the clouds is not the first time such a thing has been captured on
film by NASA.' In the video "The Secret NASA Transmissions: The Smoking
Gun", there is also footage of these gigantic white plasma orb looking
things emerging in the same manner from the cloud layer.
Interestingly, there is heavy lightning in December 1996, STS-80 mission
this footage also.
Regarding Jeff Challender's excellent presentation of this event, which I
caught in the recent Filer's Files #30, it would be nice to see the reverse
color and embossing filters applied to the lens flare video too. It is very
interesting that the white thing is not visible at first. Then there is a
big flash of lightning and the object seems to literally emerge from the
lightning flash in the clouds. Almost what one might imagine it would look
like to observe a portal opening up and a large object emerging from it

Jeff Challender writes, "I have an excellent copy of the STS-80 footage. I
personally know the man who originally recorded it on 1 December 1996. His
name is John Maxfield, and he also lives in Sacramento. I also have the
episode of our local cable access show UFO Connection, also from December
1996, in which John debuted the footage to the world. He subsequently
allowed Jim Dilettoso to analyze the footage at Village Labs. Today, most
people haven't any idea where the material came from in the first place. I

First, we have no way of knowing if the object was even visible from the
ground. It may have remained in the cloud layer, and been obscured by same
to viewers on the surface. In addition, it was near local midnight, over a
VERY remote part of the largely unexplored Amazon rain forest, Brazil with
a very small population. Out there, you have Indian tribes, most of whom
are not in communication with the outside world. You have farmers and
ranchers in remote villages where there are few phones and other
accouterments of "civilization". Both groups usually turn in early. It
seems reasonable that the local inhabitants were probably sleeping when the
object passed above. So there are good possible reasons why no one has come
forward with an eye witness account.
Lightning has been prominent in several NASA UFO events. One amazing event
which comes to mind is the Florida sequence from STS-96. Twenty three
separate objects of varying sizes have been seen heading straight for and
into thunder storms with powerful lightning discharges. This event is
divided up into five pages at PROVE, because it's so complicated. Look for

Alien Messages Received by SETI
According to Dr. Steven Greer on the July 30, 2006 "Coast to Coast AM"
radio broadcast, Art Bell made the following announcement Alien Contact
Been Made. According to Dr. Steven Greer, "We have confirmation that SETI
has received signals "confirmed" as contact from an alien source. These
multiple signals are increasing in number and frequency." Two or three
inside sources from SETI have confirmed this information. Efforts are being
made to get one of the sources (a senior official) to go public with this
information. Since the beginning of the reception of these signals, a human
force has attempted to "jam" these transmissions. This statement was made
by Dr. Greer as early as May of this year. He has added that these signals
are without a doubt "extraterrestrial." SETI has denied that an
extraterrestrial signal has been received.
Editor's Note: SETI has received signals from space on a regular basis,
however, none have been repeatable according to my sources. Only repeatable
signals are considered as factual alien contact. SETI's director continues
to deny alien contact.
Mars High Resolution Imaging
The first image of Mars by the High Resolution Imaging Science Experiment
(HiRISE) on NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter shows a story of geologic
change in the eastern Bosporos Planum region. Old stream valleys cut into
the flanks of a gently sloping mountain range in the center of the image.
Layers of smooth-textured deposits have mantled the stream valleys and many
impact craters. Wind and sublimation of water or carbon dioxide ice have
partially eroded patches of the smooth-textured deposits, leaving behind
areas of layered and hummocky terrain. On planetary surfaces, such
fault-related ridges are termed "wrinkle ridges." They are commonly
observed on Mars and named Ogygis Rupes. This wrinkle ridge has deformed
several valleys and impact craters.
Symbols and structures appear in the bottom of this crater. Image
AEB_000001_0000 was taken by HiRISE on March 24, 2006. The image is
centered at 33.65 degrees south latitude, 305.07 degrees east longitude and
shows possible structures within a large crater.

Arizona Three Strange Very Bright Lights
Casa Grande - My son (12) and I were traveling at 1:10 AM, on July 22,
2006, towards Tucson, on Freeway I-10, when we noticed three strange very
bright lights mounted like on a huge pole traveling very low to the ground.
The pole moved from our left towards the other side of the Freeway. The
closer the object got the more we were sure that this was not an airplane
since it was making very strange and very quick moves. Then, it just
stopped on the right side of the Freeway (lights towards the Freeway) for
at least a minute. It then flew north towards Phoenix. My son and I were
both able to see the backlights of the object, which were like two huge
pole's. There was a bend in the middle towards each other and mounted with
a bunch of red lights. We are not sure what it was, but it was very strange

Florida Black Circular Object
Tampa - On July 15, 2006, about 5:15 PM, my girlfriend and I were on her
back patio when she noticed a black circular object and pointed it out to
me saying "What is that?" The object appeared to be very high in altitude
and was traveling north fairly slow. We both watched it for about five
minutes as it got closer until it finally was over her roof and we lost
sight of it. She lives in a very populated part of Tampa, Florida and there
is a lot of airplane traffic around her place. However, as we both watched,
I said there is no way that is a plane or a helicopter it was just a black
circular object. About 10 minutes later we went outside and saw a real
plane. Seeing a real plane fly over definitely made me believe the object
we saw was NOT an ordinary aircraft. I am a 28 year old Art Director and my
girlfriend is a 25 year old insurance agent. Thanks to Peter Davenport

Illinois UFO in Storm
Martinton - A photograph of a storm later revealed a UFO-like object
hovering above the cornfield on July 13, 2006, at 1:45 PM. The observer
states, "I took a photo of an approaching storm from my work truck." While
looking at the photo on my computer, I noticed a small object in the center
of the picture. After zooming in, I realized that it appeared to be an
unusual object, which I was unable to identify. The object is a very blurry

CHAMPAIGN -- My wife and I were walking our dogs on July 15, 2006, and
noticed a white light go on then off in Cassiopeia, about =C2=BD way
between the two stars that form the wide `top' portion of the `W' at 10 PM.
I kept watching and this time it blinked a little further south, but still,
keeping parallel to the Cassiopeia `W'. The light would come on for about
=C2=BC second, and then go out. It was not a quick on/off, but there was
some ramping up and down of the amplitude. It almost seemed as though it
was rotating. The on/off nature reminded me of a lightning bug, but it
maintained a very consistent path in the sky relative to Cassiopeia. It
`flashed' about eight times before stopping. We estimate it was traveling
about 1 to 2 degrees per minute. I am a mechanical engineer, and my wife is

Maryland Strange Entity
This may be the most incredible photo that I have ever seen. This photo was
taken Christmas 1975. I have sent you the original version, and a more
close up version.
The photo shows my sister, her husband, and my mother in the background, on
the phone. Behind her, in the mirror is a big alien looking face. If you
look in the other mirror you can see two more beings. The fourth one is
about three feet tall, and standing right behind her. My mother has been
gone since 1981, and my sister had recently given some of Mom's photos to
me. When I came across this photo, it gave me chills. As you know: A book
has been just finished about the hell house I grew up in. we lived there
from 1970-1980. Our family was plagued by demonic activity. Discovery
Channel will be airing a one hour segment about the experiences my family
had in that house. The segment is for the series "A Haunting", and it will
air on Thursday night, September 7th at 8pm eastern. I hope you will tune

New Jersey Bright White Cigar over Atlantic
Sandy Hook Beach -- On July 13, 2006, when I first noticed there were
planes flying below this object, but the object was stationary for about
twenty minutes. At one point, it seemed like it was flying in the same
direction, parallel to a plane but then it stopped. It just hovered then
started to move south slower than any aircraft en route to Newark or La
Guardia. It was also much higher than the airplanes, because it only looked
like a bright white line. After a few minutes moving south it stopped and
became the shape of a bright white ball that started moving northwest
towards the beach. When it was over land it looked like it had a long
straight gray extension which didn't shine bright like the bright white

Clifton -- My husband and I were driving on RT46 at 9:23 PM, when I
happened to see this weird thing hovering in the sky. It was sort of cigar
shaped and it was yellow and orange colored. It seemed to be giving off
light, and it was vertical. I only saw it for about a minute or so because
then the highway curved and there was a tall brick wall. About two minutes
later there was a clearing and I could see the sky again but whatever it
was, was gone. The only thing I kept saying to my husband was what the hell
is that? But he was driving and couldn't really see it. Thanks to MUFON CMS
New Mexico UFO Sightings
Lordsburg -- Benjie Medina writes, "For several months we have a great deal
of UFO activity going on day and night near the Mexican border that Ramon
Ortiz is capturing on video. The light hovered in the sky, and periodically
changed shape but stayed in the area for over five minutes. Thanks to

Saucer UFO taken July 20, 2006
New York Photos
Ulster County -- On July 9th, 2006, my ten year old daughter and I decided
to hike up to Sam's Point where you can overlook Ulster and Orange
Counties. We were up there for about 15 minutes and I kept getting an
annoying "flicker" out of the corner of my eye. My daughter asked if I'd
take her picture to show how high up we were, so I had her pose with her
back to the east, and took several other photos.
Later that evening my daughter called to me and said I should come and see
what's in the picture with her. I've never gotten anything in a picture
before, now we have 3. Feel free to publish the photos, my brother would

North Carolina Shiny UFO Filmed.
I have been videotaping these black and shiny UFO's on several occasions
and every time I was outside filming, I would see one of these objects.
Well this time I caught the "Fireball" type thing on July 12, 2006. Video

Ohio Search Light Type Light
Xenia - On July 7, 2006, a registered medical technologist was called into
the hospital for an emergency early at 2:20 AM, and was driving on Route
380 when she noticed two bright headlights in the sky to the northeast. She
stated: After a couple of minutes I began to realize that this object was
not moving. I stopped and in deed, the object was hovering about a half to
a mile away. I drove on toward it and it remained stationary. As I neared,
it appeared to be just above the treetops and the lights were very bright.
I stopped my car again and stuck my head out of the window at 2:35AM. There
was no engine noise but I could not make out a distinct shape because of
the light and a foggy mist, which enhanced the bright light effect, but my
impression was it was long shaped like a cigar vs. cylinder. I was afraid
to leave the car and was aware that I had a patient waiting for me in the
ER. The craft then began to move to the southwest (behind me) at a slow
rate of speed.
South Carolina Bright Lights Over the Atlantic
Litchfield - On July 13, 2006, bright orange triangular shaped-lights were
spotted far out over the Atlantic Ocean at 10:30 PM. They would blink,
separate and seem to break into a pattern - sometimes we would see only two
another time we counted up to nine. They would then disappear after about 4
to 5 seconds. This happened 4 times over the span of about a half hour.
Each time they seemed to get brighter. Approximately 30 minutes later, we
saw about 4-5 blinking white lights flying back and forth across the sky
very equal-distant and at a high speed. They went back and forth across the
sky at least twice. Once these much smaller white, blinking lights
appeared, the orange lights did not reappear.
