Nebraska Flying Triangle

Omaha -- Driving north on 52nd street past the synagogue that is about 15
blocks north of Dodge on May 16, 2006, at 11 PM, the car in front of me
stopped. The driver looked out the window at a flying triangle that was
hovering. It then flew off higher than the treetops, but much lower than an

Ohio High Speed Objects

Canton - Allan writes, "I'm am not a skeptic, especially since seeing these
smaller triangular craft so many times since the mid 1960s." The first
craft I witnessed was in June of 1965, summer, when a friend of mine and I
saw a round red glowing object disappear in front of our eyes. He went on
to become a lifer in the Navy. In 1967, it was what has been described as a
mother ship in the hills of Waynesburg, Ohio (typical football with the
ends cut off) with flashing lights on each end. I've tried to put this all
out of my mind throughout the years, and so it's not been easy to come to
grips with these issues, especially what appears to be a lost memory,
repressed memory from about the mid 60s related to these smaller triangle
craft. Oh, when I was much younger, say in or about 1956 to 1960, as a
young lad playing in our yard, I saw a round shadow traveling along the
ground. Looking up I saw a perfect round shadow on the cloud layer above. I
knew at that time that there must be a round object between the sun and the
upper part of the clouds. This round shadow caused me a good deal of fear
as I ran to the house.

My parents found me outside the house many times. I can assure you that I'm
anything but a skeptic. I'm certainly in need of conversation, as I would
like to compare notes, to see if there are others in my area who have seen
these things. There is much more to tell. My wife saw these triangle ships
along with me many times in the dead of night. Where do we go from here? I
can do reports, but in some cases I won't have an exact date, but can give
you approximate dates with exact locations.

A fraction of a seconds later the object has moved to a position above the
tree on the right.

The images were taken on May 7, 2006, at 2000 frames per second and are

Pennsylvania Driver Followed by Sphere

Researcher: Stan Gordon writes, "I interviewed a witness who reported
having an unusual encounter with a small luminous object on April 7, 2006."
This woman was driving 40 mph on Route 271, and heading west between
Johnstown and Ligonier when the driver noticed a bright source of light
towards the passenger side window. At first, the driver thought it was the
headlight of an approaching car reflecting on her side mirror. The operator
soon realized that there was no car following her. The witness slowed down
to about 15 mph so that she could take a better look at this unusual light.

About 3 feet away from the window, was a bright spherical object, about the
size and shape of a standard car headlight. The solid round object was
glowing a bright white light. On the outside leading edge of the sphere,
was a crescent shaped attachment that glowed of a very bright yellow color.
The light from the object while very bright was not blinding.

The object continued to follow along with the vehicle for about 1/2 mile.
The object while maintaining its position in front of the window would move
at times about an inch or two, up and down. The driver watched as the
sphere backed away from the window, then arched upwards, and moved out of
sight. The witness heard no sound, and all operations of her vehicle
operated normally during this experience.

Texas Cars Radar/Laser Detector Acts Up

Elgin -- On May 11, 2006, I was driving from Austin to North of Houston on
Highway 290, and noticed a very bright light about 30 degrees elevation to
the northeast. The area is in the approach to Bush Intercontinental Airport
and I noticed a number of planes in the area at much higher altitudes but
this object was too bright and was not moving. I watched it for 8 minutes
while I drove up towards Elgin and got much closer. I noticed a few cars
pulled off to the side of the hwy and people outside watching it as well.

I started to think maybe it was a helicopter with a searchlight on but at
this point, I was within a mile or two of it and noticed it had no strobes
and was hovering for a few minutes then making very tight circles for a few
minutes then hovering again. I pulled over and watched it do this for
another 5 minutes or so from maybe a mile away and when it circled closer
to me the radar/laser detector in my car went nuts - it was indicating
every signal type at level 8. It was so bright and the color of the light
was just weird - it shifted from amber to a metallic blue to magenta.

The lights dimmed to the same level as jets flying past, then it moved to
the north instantly from one mile to five miles away. It then just
continued moving north/ northwest at the same altitude slowly - slower than
the jets flying around. I have a very extensive background in aviation,
grew up on an air force base and have flown in just about everything. The
moon was full and no clouds were in the sky - I could very clearly see the
planes approaching IAH, see the strobes etc. This thing stood out like a
sore thumb up there. The light was big and may have been multiple lights -
it gave the impression of a strange light array that shifted in color and
intensity but no strobing. If a navigation light on one of the planes near
it was the size of a pencil tip, the lights on this were as big as the
pencil.

I have had a daylight sighting of a metal disc once a long time ago and my
mother had a series of very close sightings when she was a child. It is
weird but that same feeling I had when I saw the disc came back tonight, I
do not know how to describe it but it is a very distinct sensation. Thanks

Houston -- I was on a flight from Cincinnati to Houston on May 14, 2006,
listening to some music and looking out the window on occasion to watch the
sunset around 7 PM. I noticed a cloud formation and I looked to the right
and I saw another plane going by the opposite direction with its contrail.
I looked back at the clouds and I noticed a cigar shaped object and as I
looked another plane with a contrail was heading in the direction to the
right of the object. It was rather large in comparison to the plane. I
continued to watch the object as we were passing south and it became a dot

Adelaide -- Don Burleson, writes here is the processing I have attempted to
do on the Adelaide image from last week. It's difficult to tell how much of
this is objectively real surface detail and how much just imaging-artifact,
though I think there is indeed some surface detail. What the object is, is

Brazil Stonehenge Found in Amazon

RIO DE JANEIRO (AFP) - Archaeologists discovered a pre-colonial
astrological observatory possibly 2,000 years old in the Amazon basin near
French Guiana, said a report. "Only a society with a complex culture could
have built such a monument," archaeologist Mariana Petry Cabral, of the
Amapa Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (IEPA), told O
Globo newspaper. The observatory was built of 127 blocks of granite each
three meters (10 feet) high and regularly placed in circles in an open
field, she said.

Cabral said the site resembles a temple, which could have been used as an
observatory, because the blocks are positioned to mark the winter solstice.
In December, the path of the sun allows rays to pass through a hole in one
of the blocks, possibly to calculate agricultural activity and religious
rituals. Its exact age has been difficult to determine, but based on
ceramic fragments found nearby, archaeologists estimate it between 500 and
2,000 years old.

The discovery is in Calcoene, 390 kilometers (240 miles) from Macapa, the
capital of Amapa state, near Brazil's border with French Guyana.
Archaeologists said the find holds mysteries similar to Stonehenge, in
Salisbury, England, another monument of huge stones, whose purpose is also
unclear.

Canadian Sightings Continue

Montreal, Quebec -- My eight-year-old son and many of his friends saw an
odd thing in the sky last Tuesday, May 2, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. They were
outside in the schoolyard and he first spotted an odd black sphere in the
sky, surrounded by about ten other little silver ones. The big one was kind
of centered in the middle of the others. This same big black sphere was
moving across the sky along with the others, the little ones were kind of
turning around the big one. My son says that it seemed to be as high as a
jetliner, but he really cannot confirm that. All of his friends who were
playing with him saw the same thing, and they all stared at it for an
entire ten minutes (I'm adding a graphic made from a sketch that he made
me). I know that they are quite young, but hey, these kids saw something!
He is not the kind of kid who would lie about something like that. The big
black object moved at the end (just before it disappeared) and seemed to
disappear behind the silver ones, just like if they were opening a door to

Estonia Flying Triangle

Tallinn -- An orange, red triangle was flying fast forwards on April 25,
2006, at 11:15 PM. It appeared in the sky, started flying forwards fast.
It was orange and a little red and it had the shape of a triangle. Thanks

Iraq Strange Lights, and Transmissions.

Tikrit -- Around 2200 hours, on April 30, 2006, I stepped out on the steps
of the back door which faces west to smoke a cigarette. I saw what at first
glance seemed to be a star that's described on this sight as a usual false
sighting, but I realized that the star described was in a different part of
the sky. I like to watch it flash different colors sometimes when I'm
looking at the sky. I believe the star I sometimes watch is more to the
southwest, so it caught my attention.

Immediately after thinking this, I observed the object move extremely rapid
for the distance it appeared to be from our position. (I am an air traffic
controller, so I am aware of "normal", or fighter jet aircraft movement.).
I closed my eyes, and shook my head a little to focus on the object to see
if my eyes were playing tricks on me, and it continued to move rapidly,
change directions instantly, and stop in place.

I called my soldier over to confirm if it was actually moving, and he
confirmed. As we watched; another couple of minutes past, and over the
tower radio frequency (Our facility monitors the control towers radios.) I
heard a broken transmission from what sounded like a pilot that said
"...yea, it's a triangle...". Tower came over the frequency, and told the
transmitter to "check freq.", which means your transmitting over our
frequency, and your not supposed to. If anyone who's reading this knows
anything about aviation radio language, there is nothing anywhere about any
triangle that would need to be transmitted to anyone.

I continued to watch the object, using a fixed object placed in my line of
sight just below it to ensure myself my eyes weren't tricking me after
starring at this thing for a while. It continued moving erratically, and
moving in the same area in the sky for about 30 minutes, and then seemingly
disappeared. It was too far away to make out a shape, but depending on the
direction of movement, it was emitting different colors. I KNOW, this was

Israel Unidentified Teardrop Objects

Tel Aviv -- On the April 28, 2006 around 18:00 hours, I took some photos of
the beach. When I came home I looked at the photos and noticed a foreign
body in the pictures that looks like a transparent teardrop in the
background of the sky. There are two different photos. The first one I can
see one object and in the second one I can see two more objects. These
three objects have the same shape, but photographed in different angles and

Poland Orb

Sandy Nichols writes, "I have a hard time believing this report that this
object is a UFO type craft that was hovering over ponds." I have taken
several Orb photos that look just like these around my house and at other
places. I believe that the blurring is caused by the camera capturing Orbs
actually in movement.

I am including one photo in this e-mail showing this same effect. Zoom in

Editors Note: Many orb photos can be taken by bouncing light from a flash
or other source on to dust or water droplets. However, many orbs are huge
objects tens to hundreds of feet in size. These may be plasma similar to
ball lightning. Others claim the orbs change shape into a UFO or space
ship.

Taiwan Builds $20 Million UFO Research Center

Guiyang -- Authorities in the capital of Guizhou Province, announced
that they had received 160 million yuan (US$20 million) from a Taiwan-based
company to construct a UFO Research Base. Some people in the city's Baiyun
District believe they were visited by aliens in 1994, and with this new
research base, they hope to reproduce the mysterious moment, through photos
and historical documentation. On November 30, 1994, more than 27 hectares
of masson pines in a forest farm in the district mysteriously fell down.
However, nearby plastic shelters stood intact. An adjacent truck factory
reported similar enigmas: steel pipes were strangely broken; a huge truck
was found more than 20 metres away from its original place; an employee on
the night shift said he had been pulled up in the air by an "unknown"
force. While some thought it was UFOs that did all these strange things,
scientists said tornados were the probable causes.

Wang Fangchen, a biologist who visited the site right after the event, said
the city's plan to build a UFO research base is "ridiculous." "Where do
they recruit scientists for the research?" he asked, before adding: "I
won't oppose it if they just want to promote local tourism through the
programme." Li Jing, a senior astronomer with the National Astronomical
Observatories, echoed the view. Li said China does not have an official UFO
research institute because "it needs scientists of various disciplines."
"It can be an atmospheric phenomenon, or a biological issue, or a physical
reaction," Li said. "People often mistake planes, clouds and insects, as
well as strange shadows on photographs, as being UFOs," said Zhou
Xiaoqiang, secretary-general with the Beijing UFO Research Association. "If
aliens really came, they would more likely appear before our eyes politely

UK Orbs

London -- Kathy writes, "Could you please correct a spelling error...I
meant to say... To dispel the myth that all orbs are particles of dusk or
moisture right near the camera lens. I printed dusk instead of dust."

These shots were taken in a dark field just out side of London about 9 PM,
in December last year. The bush in front of the picture was about 6 ft
away from myself and my friend. One can clearly see and orb behind the
bush...That photo alone dispelled some of the 'specks of dust and moisture'
hypothesis., although I am aware they can cause some images. I'm off to
Cuba soon to collect more information on Ovni's Best Regards. Keep up the
