New Jersey Lights

Sandy Hook -- On Sunday May 7, 2006, I spotted a UFO in Atlantic Highland
that had lights in the middle of the day. Four or five lights were moving
right next to each other, then just mysteriously disappeared like a cloak

Jack W. Smith Jr. MUFON reports, `I am going to enclose the original of a
picture I took today with a digital camera and two enhancements done with
two different types of software. I would appreciate it if you would advise
me if something of this caliber should be reported or not. The reason I ask
is the possibility that the object in the picture could be a UFO, a black
airplane or a bird gliding head on towards the camera.

I enjoy very much reading your files and some time during the last year or
so I think it was in your files that I read of a gentleman having the
experience of seeing UFOs "inside" his house. If it is possible I might
like to be put in touch with this person by email if possible. I have been
having this experience over two years now and am able to have some
communication back and forth with them. I will be 71 in August and my first

Ohio Video of Objects

FOSTORIA - George Ritter continues to video tape UFOs and has sent this
photo from two video tapes shot on April 15, 2006. The object is moving
south to north at an estimated speed of 2000 mph and makes a turn on second
frame of video.

He sets up two cameras and video tapes on both for several hours. He then
examines each frame of film. He can film on a scientific repeatable basis
and invites scientific visitors to conduct research of his work. Two
separated cameras prove he is not video taping insects. George is
conducting his video under the instruction of a PhD in Physics to determine
the scientific authenticity of his results. Thanks to George Ritter

Oregon Two Groups of Lights

PORTLAND -- NUFORC has received reports from the Portland area, regarding a
number of very interesting sightings that occurred at approximately
midnight, Saturday night, April 29, 2006. The duration of the event was
approximately ten minutes. Many citizens there have reported having
witnessed at least two groups of brightly lighted objects, seen moving over
the downtown area of Portland, where they reportedly hovered briefly, and
then disappeared to the south. Shortly after the first sighting, a second
formation of similar objects was seen. Preliminary assessment is that the
objects were not projected beams of light, either laser-based or

Texas A Circular Object

San Antonio - In February 2006, I saw something strange three months ago.
It was a circular object with red lights going in a circle and stationary
at 90 degrees from ground level to the southwest. I have never seen an
object as large and stationary other than a helicopter. This object was
stationary for over two hours. I'm astounded I was the only one that saw
this object. Unfortunately, a day or so later it was reported a Stalwart,
in personal aircraft manufacture, crashed and died in a town nearby. I'm
wondering if this was not him I saw. If you have any information regarding

Australia Orange Colored UFO

Perth - There is small island just off the western coast near Augusta, and
I said to my mate just as we headed down to the shore April 2004, to fish.
That's an orange star and it must be a planet. Then he said, no it's a bit
too big for that. Now this orange star/light stayed there for ages. We
fished for God knows how long. I recall it faded out or disappeared before
we left to start walking back. We had to scale some cliffs to get back and
as we did, I saw this orange thing traveling and at a good speed straight
down, dead straight. Only took a second at maximum, what I swore was the
exact same orange as over the island which dove straight down close to us.
It was closer than the horizon to us. It made no sound and didn't appear to
hit the water. My mate described exactly the same thing.

Right before we got back to the car, we noted the orange light was now off
into the distance. It was a bit duller and it was so far away I guess. But
in the 10 or so minutes walk back to the car it had traveled the entire
horizon line so it was no ship.

It was not a meteor, it was hovering over the island and what went up. The
orange was very vibrant. It did remind me of street lights around town but
even more intense. I got back to Perth and joked to my sister, I saw a UFO.
Before I could say anything more she said, "That's funny, I saw this orange
thing and described it exactly the same way before I got a chance to tell
her anything. She was 15kms from the beach. Thanks Brian Vike, Director

Adelaide - Kathy writes, "I thought I would send these picture to you. One
was taken the last weekend of April at my beach house. The night was dark,
no light source around. A blue orb showed up, I didn't take much notice of
the large ones but the small brilliant blue on caught my attention. To
dispel the myth that all orbs are particles of dusk or moisture right near
the camera lens.

These two shots were taken in a dark field just out side of London about 9
PM, in December last year. The bush in front of the picture was a bout 6
feet away from myself and my friend. One can clearly see and orb behind the
bush...That photo alone dispelled some of the 'specks of dust and moisture'
hypothesis., although I am aware they can cause some images. Thanks to

Canadian UFOs

Cloverdale, B. C. - On April 28, 2006, after midnight, a gentleman called
into The Sean Leslie Show which was on CKNW radio to ask if anyone had
reported an object hovering over the New Westminster area. The witness was
out on his patio having a cup of tea. His neighbor and a few more watched
the object. He believes the object was hovering over the hotel area down
6th street. There were three objects with lights laboring the objects, also
observed was alternating light patterns and the fellow said he couldn't
believe what he was seeing. This short report can be heard on the The Sean

Hazelton, B. C. - Myself and two other friends were walking down to a local
pub on April 29, 2006, Saturday morning about 12:30 am, and about half way
down by the soccer field I was looking at the sky to the south and noticed
some kind of green light rise up from over the mountain or trees like a
flare, and originally I thought it was like some kind of fire work or green
flare like a roman candle. All of a sudden it lit up the sky and it kind of
silhouetted the clouds and then it went from east to west in like a second
and disappeared. It was green and had a little bit of red on the bottom of
it. I also thought it could be like one of those green meteors, but when I
thought of it again, I haven't seen a meteor go from down to up then left

Ottawa, Ontario -- My husband spotted three lights, with two in front and
one behind making somewhat of a triangle on May 6, 2006, just after 9 PM.
They were orange pinkish in colour, (they reminded me of the highway
lighting) quite bright and fairly large and round. We didn't see any
connecting lines. We both wear glasses so lights may not look quite round
to us. There were no blinking lights, nor red, nor green nor white. No
resemblance to aircraft. They traveled from the NW to SE at a good speed
and as they got further away they disappeared one by one. We couldn't hear
any sounds from them like we can with other aircraft. We were standing on
our front porch facing west and the lights were above the houses and we had
to look up so I guess they were quite high up. If they had been in space
then they were very big so I think they were within the paths that high
flying jets take at least. My husband's idea was that it was a satellite
that had just been launched from some country and we were seeing the two
boosters and the satellite making their way into space.

Parkland Area, Manitoba -- I just finally made it out to the lake on May 7,
2006, at 12:02 a.m, and decided to go to grab a bag of blankets from the RV
and right in front of me was a elongated diamond light sitting in the
western sky. It was the size of the moon. If you imagine the moon being
shaped to that description of an elongated diamond it was similar to the
one I had witnessed last August here, but there was a dark circle in the
middle of it. It was very clear, very visible and so very out of place. I
stared at it for about 4 or 5 seconds, suddenly there was a bright flash
that lasted about 2 or 3 seconds. I quickly thought maybe it's a meteor or
something burning up in the atmosphere, due to the intensity of the light,
but I realized as it went back to it's original intensity, again that was
not the case. As I already knew deep inside me. It sat there for another
few seconds then it started upwards and towards the west in an instant. It
was as small as a tiny star. I then followed it as it turned south for a

Poland Unidentified Object Photographed

Bialystok -- Mr. Pawel Targonski took a photo presenting a strange object
of unknown origin on January 1st 2006 at 00:18. It was taken with a camera
Kodak Easyshare C300. The purpose was to photograph fireworks but it wasn't
always possible to take a photo of them. The object was noticed on the next
day while the photos were downloaded to a computer. The object wasn't
visible when the photo was taken. The author was located on Mickiewicz's
Street and the object seems to hover over ponds on this street. It isn't
known yet if someone other present on New Year Eve party took a similar
photo. The case remains unsolved and the object is still unidentified.

The Secret KGB UFO Files

Special Blue Folder -- The prominent Soviet cosmonaut Pavel Popovich got
the famous Blue Folder folder from the KGB in 1991. These days Mr. Popovich
holds the position of honorary president of the Academy of Informational
and Applied Ufology. The folder contains numerous descriptions of UFO
flights and reports on some (mostly failed) attempts taken by the military
in order to catch the aliens. In 1968, 13 leading aircraft designers and
engineers of a brand-new aircraft section of the Soviet Committee on Space
Technology and Exploration forwarded a request to set up a special
organization for the study of UFOs to the Soviet Prime Minister Alexei
Kosygin. A reply to the letter was signed by Academician Shchukin "A number
of competent organizations of the Presidium of the USSR Academy of Sciences
in cooperation with the Chief Directorate of Meteorological Service,
Defense Ministry and a few other agencies considered the issue of nature of
the so-called flying objects.

The organizations involved in the study of the atmosphere and space have
been instructed to register and do research on any cases of UFOs for
identification purposes. The USSR Academy of Sciences is charged with
general monitoring of the phenomena, and therefore a special organization
for the study of UFOs is not required." "It was a real breakthrough," says
Vladimir Azhazha, president of the above academy and keeper of the Blue
Folder. "The authorities not only acknowledged the existence of UFOs for
the first time, they also showed their great interest in the issue," adds
he. "We got hold of the Blue Folder only in 1991," says Mr. Azhazha. "Pavel
Popovich was given the folder after requesting reports on the cases of
UFOs. I received the folder from Popovich, it was a 124-page compilation of
reports about the encounters with UFOs. The reports filed by authorities,
military units COs and eyewitnesses. It took us a long time to get rid of
some doubts before making the folder public," says he. Mr. Popovich saw an
UFO only once while flying in a passenger plane from Washington to Moscow.

According to him, the object looked like a shining triangle that popped up
out of nowhere, for awhile it flew near the plane at about 1,000 km per
hour before vanishing without a trace. In the cover letter that effectively
denied any special program by the KGB for monitoring the UFO activities,
the contents of the folder indicated the opposite. It is quite obvious that
the Soviet secret police launched thoughtful investigations in several
cases e.g. an anomaly observed near the village of Burkhala of the Magadan
region on October 21, 1989. The report on the incident says: "The
eyewitnesses claim to have watched a red shining sphere circulating above
the village for half an hour."

The northern lights are reported to have shone extremely brightly all night
long following the incident. The flying disks vanished in thin air after
the explosion KGB agents looked high and low trying to figure out what
happened at the airport of the city of Mineralnye Vody on December 15,
1987. According to the airport dispatchers, at 23.15 the flight No 65798
reported an incoming "object resembling an aircraft with its headlights
on." The radars showed no aircraft whatsoever. Three minutes later the UFO
was gone as reported by the flight No 65789. The crew of another plane also
observed the UFO flying in that area. The clock read approximately 23.20.
According to crewmembers, the UFO left a fiery trail in the air. The crews
of the both planes reported that the UFO had disappeared after the flash
resembling an explosion. A villager reported a burning plane flying over
his village at 23.30. The eyewitness said the plane then disappeared. The
eyewitness found no wreckage or other evidence of a plane crash. In August
1987, servicemen of an antiaircraft unit based on the Tiksi Peninsula tried
to "get to know better" an unidentified flying object that appeared on a
radar screen. The report from Colonel Lobanov, a duty officer of the
military unit No 45038, said: "An unidentified target detected by the radar
station of the commandant"s office of the antiaircraft unit at 05.45 Moscow
time."

The target moved at a speed varying from 0 to 400 km per hour. At 06.55 a
helicopter MI-8 took off for a closer examination of the object. Suddenly,
the object became invisible. Another aircraft, the AN-12 was flying in the
vicinity at the time. At 3600 m the crew reported an emerald cloud with a
few traces of purple and dark spots visible in the middle. Two inverse
trails were reported behind the cloud.

An incident occurred in the Leningrad Military Region in early August of
1987. Five officers were dispatched to the northern part of Karelia to
accompany an object of unknown origin that had been located near the city
of Vyborg.

The object was said to be 14 m long, 4 meters wide and 2.5 m high. The
military failed to open the "extraterrestrial can." Eventually, the object
disappeared from the hangar late September. On July 28, 1989, the arrival
of an UFO spread panic among the personnel of a military unit stationed
near Kapustin Yar. Corporal Valery Voloshin was on duty in the
communications center at the time. He filed the first report on the case.

Researchers believe the Blue Folder is an invaluable source of information.
According to Mr. Azhazha, all reports and evidence on record indicate that
intelligent life forms control the objects that mean no harm to human
beings. At least no case of an attack by UFO against man was found in the
folder.
