Recently Reported Sightings
Fort Beaufort, South Africa Crashed UFO
HBCC UFO Research Note: I received a good report from a person that had a
sighting at Centennial, Colorado. The witness was kind enough to give a
little more detail on what they saw, but he also mentioned that when
living in Fort Beaufort, South Africa reports came in over a crashed UFO.
Short report below.
Date: 1970's
I am originally from South Africa, and we lived in a small town called
Fort Beaufort in 1989.It is believed that a UFO destroyed the town's
tennis court in the 1970's and there are photographs of the wrecked court
in the town's museum. It was completely destroyed and no one could explain
it. I cannot recall all the details but it is presumed that the same craft
crashed in a farmer's field not too far away a day or so later. He called
the cops who are said to hve shot at it with his rifle but it did not seem
to have damaged it, and by then the story had spread throughout the
community and everyone wanted to see the "UFO", but the military came in
and cordoned off the area and the whole thing was hushed up.

Message: Hey Brian, just wanted to respond to that Loring AFB incident
1975 Article. She was asking about if anyone knew about it well I kind of
do. I lived in Caribou, Maine, which was about 10 miles or so away and
visited the base quite frequently. My friend whom I hung around with his
father was in the Air Force and worked on the base. He (my friend) told
me that his father saw a UFO on the base and told me about the lights and
all of that. So, I told him I did not believe him so he got his father
outside and I asked him and he hesitantly said, no kind of laughing it
off. And his son kept on him saying tell him the truth because he the
father was always telling him about it. Even his sisters were saying that
he saw it so that's all I know about the incident. Thanks.

Message: Hi, I was searching through the 1970s sighting page and was
wondering if you ever heard of "The Loring's Incident" ? My father was
stationed at Loring AFB in 1975 in Limestone, Maine. There is a wonderful
account of UFOs hovering around the base. Not to mention they were within
hundreds of feet from the nuclear weapons site. Every site I go to never
has the story and was wondering if you could post it up on your site.

I was born December 1974 in Limestone, Maine at Loring Air Force base. My
family lived in base housing during the incident. During the alert, no one
was aloud on or off the base, and lights were to be off after sunset in
every house. My father won't ever talk about the incident, but my mother
remembers everything! Here is what I found on the net. Although I've heard
this story from my family all my life. This story is on alot of various
sites. The base is no longer operating. I just talked to my mother, she
was there when it happened, she says it's all in Freedom of Information. I
could very well get a great story from her as a witness. But, I felt the
best information I could give you was from a more informational source
with more details. I've been wondering almost all my life if there is
anyone out here that may have been there at the time. You are the first
person I have contacted online about this. I figured with all the people
that are here in the group, some one might have heard of it. It's been
puzzling me. My mother and I have so many questions.

Higganum Connecticut Green Spiked Ball With Flashing Multi Colored Tail
Date: 1990s
Time: Around 12:00 a.m.
Location of Sighting: I was on my balcony porch.
Number of witnesses: 1

Shape of objects: Green spiked ball with flashing multi colored tail.
I believed that the object which I noticed because it was flashing
different colors to be a star at first. I was on my balcony smoking a cig
and I stayed out there to watch the object when it started moving in my
direction. After about 5 minutes elapsed I noticed it was getting closer
and closer until it was about 4 to 5 football field lengths above my
house. It was a huge green spiked ball with a flashing multi colored tail
which I didn't notice until it turned and took off. I haven't ever
reported it and only mentioned it to less then a hand full of people, but
I saw another multi-colored flashing star tonight which seemed to move a
bit oddly and it reminded me of it.

Mount Benedictson, Fraser Valley British Columbia Orbs Dancing
Date: Summer 1991
Time: Evening
Message: Hi. I am writing a book on a sighting and strange events which
happened to me about fifteen years ago. I need to try to verify the events
of the sighting, as it was a mass sighting which lasted at least four
hours. I was wondering if you have had any reports of the following: It
was summer 1991. Five or six orbs of white light were seen 'dancing' above
Mt. Benedictson in the Fraser Valley. I witnessed this with a friend as we
were driving home on the Lougheed Hwy toward Whonnock, just after
midnight. I do know that others had witnessed these orbs as there were
people parked on the side of the road watching. My friend dropped me off
at home and for a few hours my father and I watched this dance of orbs.
The reports on the radio had told two separate explanations- 1) military
drills shooting flares, 2) ball lightening. If you have heard of this
incident before please let me know or have any other eye witnesses contact
me, please. After these sightings strange events began to happen, such as
'sleepwalking', missing time and intense insomnia, and feelings of being
watched

Denver, Colorado Boomerang Shape With A Ball In The Center

I had to take my daughter to Denver Children's hospital a couple of years
ago. My mother and son went with us. And my father drove out from
California to Denver.
It was mid afternoon and there were thunderstorms all over the area. My
mother and I went out to the parking garage of the hospital to have a
cigarette. We were looking out over the downtown area and looking up at
the sky at the impending storms. We saw what we first thought were hang
gliders. Three of them circling up above the buildings. By circling I mean
rotating. My mom said those were not hang gliders. We watched them for a
good five minutes. There was a part in the clouds where there was blue
sky. They rotated or were spinning straight up and into space. They looked
like three boomerangs and dark in colour. All the same size. But what made
us think they weren't hang gliders was the fact that there were what I
would describe as round balls in the centre of the 'V' shape. And,that
they were directly above the tallest buildings, going straight up. I
confronted my father with this as he is a retired MST Sergeant of the Air
Force. And, was also stationed at Loring AFB where an incident happened in
1975. The look on his face was shock. All he said was "thanks for telling
me this, I have to drive through Nevada tonight". End of Story.

Lake Of The Ozarks, Missouri Lights In A Triangular Formation
Date: July 4, 2004
Time: Approx: 10:00 p.m.

It was the 4th of July and myself and several friends went down to the
lake for the weekend. We were all sitting down by the dock shooting off a
few fireworks when myself and three others looked up right at the same
moment, almost as if we were drawn to do so and saw what seemed to be a
very large triangular object flying overhead. There were three lights
which appeared to me as one at the front tip of the object and then one on
either "wing". The three lights could have easily been mistaken as stars
at first glance but it became apparent quickly that the three lights were
moving in conjunction with each other and definitely appeared to be
attached to the same object. We could not actually see the object or craft
that the lights were attached to.
You could not even make out the shadow or outline of whatever the object
was. The object seemed very large. Much, much larger than any airplane
that I have knowledge of. It was hard to determine how fast the object was
moving or exactly how high up it was since we could not see the object
itself, only the three lights. It seemed to me to be close to the altitude
of a commercial jet coming in for landing. Had it been a regular plane you
would have been able to make it out clearly in daylight probably enough to
even determine which airline it was by the body of the plane. As I stated
previously, all four of us looked up at the same instant and saw this
object. We watched the three lights move overhead for probably about 30
seconds before anyone spoke.
It is hard to explain but we all just knew in our gut that we had seen
something not of this earth. I think everyone was thinking the same thing,
but afraid to be the first one to verbalize it for fear everyone else
might not feel the same and would make fun of them. Finally one friend
just said "Um, that was a UFO right"? And once it was said aloud we all
were like, "Oh my God, yes I think so". We all agreed that if it was an
aircraft from this planet it was definitely not one we had ever seen
before or was know to the general public. If it was a secret government
aircraft they sure picked the absolute worst time to fly it as the Lake of
the Ozarks is a very popular destination for 4th of July, and since
fireworks are a tradition for the holiday, it was obviously very likely
that a lot of people would be looking to the sky that night The feeling
that came over me when I saw this object was overwhelming and very hard to
explain. After talking with the others who also witnessed this object I
came to find out they all had that same feeling come over them.

Down Town Calgary, Alberta A Yellow/Green Light
Date: Summer 2004 ?
Time: Evening
Recently heard on the radio that Calgary had many UFO sightings. Well two
years ago, during summer time me and my boyfriend were at Prince Edward
Island Park in Calgary down town. We were sitting on the bench enjoying
the night. Out of nowhere this yellow/green light from a distant away but
were visible since the night was dark and this was standing out pretty
well. It started from the ground for afar, it was yellow/green... it shot
straight up in the air coming towards us, it stopped & it changed to more
greenish colour and, it flew the opposite direction of us and very fast.
It flew away and disappeared.
It all was really fast but we both saw it and both were shocked and we
didn't know what to think of it.
It couldn't have been fireworks, because of the way it flew, fireworks
would go up and disappear. But this went in a different angle and then
changed direction.
Well I'm not sure what I saw, just thought I share this with you.

Petawawa, Ontario Lights Appeared And Hovered
Date: November 26, 2004
Time: 11:00 p.m.

Shape of objects: Reappearing bright lights.
My wife and I were driving on Hwy 17 through Petatwawa and I happened to
look over the base, and right before my eyes three large and bright lights
appeared and just hovered there. They didn't move at all. A couple of
seconds later 6 other lights appeared bringing a total of nine lights. It
was hard to explain how high they were but they lid up the whole sky. Then
one by one, sometimes two at time they disappeared. I know my wife and I
were not the only ones who saw this because as the lights vanished in mid
air. I looked down at my speedometer and noticed that I was only driving
at about 15 km/h and so was about 4 cars in-front of me, and who knows how
many behind me. They looked exactly like the lights in Phoenix in 1997.

It's funny the only reason why I filled this report out was because of a
show on UFO's which I believe aired on TLC on Thursday night. When we
first saw these lights we thought it probably had to do with the military
base. But the show talked about the Phoenix Lights in 97 and I'll tell
you right now that is to the tee what we saw. I've never heard of these
phoenix lights before and now I can't seem to stop searching for more
information on what we saw in Petawawa, Ontario. The whole thing just
sits in the back of my mind constantly since that show. I wish I could
see them again. I wish everyone could see them again. Kind of getting
tired of everyone shrugging their shoulders and looking the other way
whenever I bring it up. Something is funky out there and I still don't
know what I saw, but it was definitely something out of the ordinary.
They were over the Petawawa Military Base. It was crystal clear and the
lights were there for approx. 2 - 3 min.
There was no other lights aside from the 9 that showed up. I do remember
though that the first 3 lights that came up were extremely bright because
the sky was so dark and clear. Actually I didn't think to open the window,
we heard nothing. They were all extremely bright white lights and all the
same size. I wish I could tell you more. I wish I could tell myself more.

South Pittsburg, Tennessee Triangular Craft With Four Lights
Date: November of 2005
Time: Evening
Message: In November of 2005,a friend of mine and I were sitting at an
old boat dock near South Pittsburg, Tn. We both happened to look up to the
southern part of the night sky and saw a craft with 4 lights. It was
triangular shaped and had 3 lights on each tip and one in the centre. It
was very dark, but we could see the outline of the craft.
It seemed as if it appeared out of nowhere and it sped off up the
mountainside in a spinning manoeuvre and disappeared.
Additional Information:
I apologize for not being as clear about my experience as I should have
been.
The craft was in the southern part of the sky. It seemed to appear out of
nowhere, not on the horizon, but in between the horizon and from my line
of sight, the stars. It was pretty close to the ground, in terms of
aviation. It sped off up a mountainside, in what appeared to me as a
spinning motion, to the east. It was late on a clear autumn night. We
could see the stars extremely well. As far as the lights, they were
white/bluish color. A strange tinted light. The craft moved to the east up
the mountainside rapidly, when it got to the top it sped off extremely
fast. (keep in mind mountains in Tennessee are flat on the top) and then
disappeared.
We watched this for roughly 10 seconds or so. But that is only a guess. No
sound came from it whatsoever. This was way in the countryside, no
airports around. There is an Airforce base roughly 50 miles to the north,
in Tullahoma, Tennessee.
I forgot to mention, about a minute after the sighting, animals in the
area started going nuts. I could hear deer running down the mountain.
Frogs and whooping cranes (I think that's what they are) were making all
kinds of noise on the river. Not sure if this was a form of paranoia
setting in, but I found it very strange.

Well my friends and I were just sitting out the front of my house and we
were looking up in the sky. I saw one circle shaped thing just fly across
and do a 180 turn in less that 1 second. Then one minutes later we were
still looking, and there where 3 other ones flying around the sky. At
first I thought it was a satellite, but a satellite cannot turn that fast.

Arizona A Huge Ship (UFO) Over Witnesses Van
Date: Unknown
Time: Approx: 2:00 a.m.
When I was a small child my parents and I saw UFO's in the sky. They also
had colored lights.
Then when I was a teenager, we were travelling through Arizona somewhere
and stopped at a rest stop. It was very early in the morning, maybe 2:00
am. Everyone around us was asleep in their cars. We were brushing our
teeth.
Suddenly there was something coming toward our van. I said it was a UFO.
All I can remember was this huge ship over our van. It was round and made
no noise that I can remember. I was saying " Wow ! " over and over in
disbelief. It was totally ostentatious. It had lights all around. Then
I remember it zipped off going in sharp left and right zig zag movement
and then like warp speed it suddenly looked like a tiny pin point of light
in the sky and the zap it disappeared completely. I was sitting there
with toothpaste dripping down my mouth still saying "Wow."
I was totally in shock. I cleaned off the toothpaste and said, " That was
a real UFO." The person next to me was in denial and said " No , it was a
comet. " He was much younger than me and still only around 10 years old
or so." I assured him it wasn't a comet. At any rate, I know UFO's are
out there. Question is, is it military ?

Perth, Western Australia Huge Object Changes Shape
Date: March 31, 1973
Time: Approx: 9:15 p.m.

Shape of objects: Disc shape.
Full Description of event/sighting: UFO report from Perth, Western
Australia 1973.
I think it was 1973 but not sure of the month. However later
investigations revealed the night to be 31 March 1973. We didn't write
anything down at the time unfortunately, but our memories of the
experience are very strong.
We were in Perth, Western Australia, driving home to our unit on West
Coast Highway. We had just left my parents place after dinner at night
and I was driving down a hill towards the beach, when my wife commented on
the wonderful full moon just ahead of us over the ocean. Then we realized
that the moon was actually behind us.
We turned right at West Coast Highway and parked on a piece of land
overlooking the beach and observed a huge round orange/red ball bigger
than the moon, ahead of us over the ocean. We observed the object for
quite a while and it appeared to be changing shape from round to disc
shape. The shape appeared to be near Rottnest Island, about 12 miles off
the coast, so it was huge. It then, in a matter of seconds, came straight
at us.
I am not exactly sure of the sequence of events, as it became quite
complicated. In fact, my wife and I observed the same object but we can't
tally on sequence of events or timings. We got out of the car but I don't
remember consciously getting out of the car yet I found myself at the
front of the car. There was no sound as the object moved rapidly towards
us and stopped directly over us. It appeared to be enormous in length.
Later estimations in my mind made it as big as an aircraft carrier.
The shape changed, as it came towards us, from being round to saucer
shape. At this stage I was unsure whether the object was tilting up or
down as viewed from the front from my viewpoint. Around this time a white
car pulled up behind us on the highway. I believe that this car was a
Jaguar. The driver wound down his window, rubbed his eyes or face, and
then accelerated rapidly south down the highway. We continued to observe
the object for an undetermined amount of time. The object rapidly moved
backwards towards the island again. In a split second it had disappeared
over the horizon leaving a large red/orange glow over the horizon. The
object then repeated the original manoeuvre back to our vantage point,
hovering above us again.
The object appeared to have a clearly defined disc typed shape and a
bright orange/red light source appeared to emanate from inside the object
and shine through the skin of the object into the surrounding air. It
also had a black panel in the centre at the front. I could see what I
took to be the skin of the object and it entered my mind that I would like
to fire a rifle to see if the bullets would bounce off what could have
even have been a very thin metallic object. Although, this was unlikely
due to the strange appearance of the object. At the same time as this was
going through my head I felt as though I was in communication with
something. At about the same time my wife was excited and said that she
would like to go on it.
It was interesting that my wife was excited by the object, and yet my
reaction was one of fear. Strange, when we were both experiencing the
same event. In the presence of the object I felt I was being scanned or
observed by something. Towards the end of the experience, I felt that I
had been rejected. Time seemed distorted somehow for me and I have great
difficulty even today working out the timings of this event. I am unsure
as to whether the object just disappeared instantly from our view or
retreated gradually back towards the island and moved upwards at a high
rate of speed and disappeared. We were considerably shocked and excited by
the event, went home, drew sketches and discussed whether to report it.
We decided not to, owing to public ridicule etc.
It has been in our memories ever since and we still cannot make sense of
it. Yet we know that it is real and did happen. It has intrigued me so
much that I have recently had hypnotic regression with a professional
psychologist who recorded and witnessed the regression.
At this stage I do not want to fully go into what was apparently revealed
at these sessions as I am not sure of the accuracy of hypnotic regression.
It seems to me that since our experience I have been more psychically
aware which has resulted in some strange experiences.
We did nothing about this sighting until July 2002 when I saw a photograph
of an identical UFO on a website. Later investigation revealed that the
photograph was taken by Mr. Carlos Diaz in 1982 in Mexico.
