HBCC UFO Recently Reported Sightings
Release Date: April 2, 2006
Handhillls area Farm - Hanna (Southern) Alberta Large Disk With Dome
Date: Fall 1969
Time: Approx 10:00 p.m.
Location of Sighting: Handhillls area Farm - Hanna (Southern) Alberta
Number of witnesses: 3
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Large Disk with Dome: bottom 3 Extremely bright lights.
My mom and dad and I were driving home from my friends house late one Fall
evening, when dad saw what he thought were "Poachers" on his farm lease
land. Mom told him to shut off the light so they couldn't see us approach
and we'd surprise them since we were headed directly at them. When we got
close enough, about 500 yards away I believe the size and sight frightened
my dad and he turned the lights on to be sure he was seeing, what we were
seeing. When he turned on the lights the "flying/hovering machine/ship"
shot straight up into the air, no visual emissions of any kind. It went
straight up, and straight north with no hesitation automatically.
Flew unbelievably fast over top of the "home hill" and disappeared, or
looked like it disappeared over the tree line behind the family ranch
house and was gone. I will say it was hovering when we turned the corner
in front of it overtop of a slough filled with water, very low over it
just above the willow tree-line around the slough and it was HUGE. It
covered the whole of the area above the trees and slough and moved
incredible swiftly, without effort and accurately. There were 3 huge lit
lights, white blue lined extremely bright lights underneath the ship, not
in a row, but triangular on the underside of the ship/vessel. When dad
turned on the lights and the machine moved, dad cussed, drove like
H*)(_*(ll all the way to the house. We ran inside and yelled at my older
brother and sister to bring the rifles and as they did they went out
behind the trees.
My mom and I stayed behind with my grandmother, who was in the house with
my siblings when the ship went over. She asked if dad had run into the
side of the house when he parked because there was a big vibrating sound
and motion that shook the cupboards. Outside in the vehicle while driving
we heard nothing, only saw. When dad and my family returned they had
found, seen nothing out there. Whatever it was it's gone. Dad refused ever
again to discuss this, but mom and I did a great deal of believing and
discussing the phenomenal experience.
I had open-heart surgery at 5 years old and was told twice that because
they placed a pig valve in my heart that I would be dead, and I am still
alive and well. I believe in a lot of things that others may view as
weird, but once you have seen and experienced it makes me a believer with
unshakable convictions, if that's the right word. I believe because I have
seen, experienced first hand, I don't need anyone else to believe, but I
am extremely pleased to have found this sight so I may share and read of
others experiences. I also have been a sky watcher now since this
experience.

Swallow Falls State Park, Oakland, Maryland
Date: June 1982?
Time: 12:00 a.m.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Light

I think that this happened in the spring/summer of 1982. It might have
been 1983, but I am pretty sure that I had just completed my first year of
college and I have a vague memory of feeling irresponsible about missing
too many days of work at my part-time job. I have to admit that I can't
pin this down exactly. I know it happened no earlier than 1982 and no
later than 1984. There were green leaves on the trees; the temperature was
neither particularly hot nor cold.
I had a close friend who was several years younger. I think I was 19-20
years old, so she was 16 or 17. Her father was a Boy Scout troop leader,
and he, her mother, and other adults were taking their troop camping at
Swallow Falls State Park, near Oakland, Maryland. She was a bit of a
problem teen, and there was no way that her parents were going to let her
stay home alone while they took the troop to Swallow Falls. She had to go,
but they told her that she was allowed to bring a friend. She asked me and
I agreed to go along.
Looking at the Swallow Falls camping maps, I believe that we camped in the
Youth Group Loop. I'm not sure exactly where on the loop we were
positioned but my gut tells me we were in campsite number 2. I am sure
that no one was in campsite 3, but I am not clear if any one was in camp
1.
The camping loop went fairly deep into the forest of huge old trees. On
the first night, there was a heavy rainstorm. My friend and I were
sleeping on the ground in a small two-man tent. We were utterly miserable;
our tent was damp and leaking. It kept raining into the next day, and in
fact, by the evening, it was absolutely pouring. We decided to spend the
night in her father's car. It was parked facing the loop road, next to the
encampment. My friend, who was a tiny person, took the backseat, and I
planned to sleep in the driver's seat in recline. I recall that we sat in
the car talking for hours while the rain pounded the car. I don't remember
thunder or lightning-just driving rain and some winds. I don't think the
car had a lighted clock. (Now that I think about it, I'm not sure cars had
lighted clocks in the early 1980s.) But I guess it was around midnight. At
some point while we conversed, I noticed a light through the front
windshield, I can remember that it illuminated the hard streaks of rain
hitting the glass. We both stopped talking, so I assume that she also saw
the light. I never turned my head to look at her in the back seat as the
light wended its way toward us. It was yellow-greenish and about as bright
as a car headlight pointed full on and very bright. It did not have a
defined shape because of this brightness, but I assume its core was round.
It moved smoothly, about 3-5 feet from the ground, swerving gently a few
times to avoid trees. I remember wondering whether it was a car on the
muddy loop coming from camp 1. Then I thought, "Maybe it's someone walking
with a really bright lantern."
My last memory of the light is as it reached the front of our car. I
retain an image of it crossing in front of us, as if it was going to
follow the loop out of the woods to the parking area. But I can't recall
it actually doing that. I think I saw it start to illuminate the tents
that were to my right. The next thing I remember is disorientation then
turning around to my friend to say, "That was weird." The two of us
immediately picked up our conversation from before the light appeared.
After that night in the woods, I didn't think about the odd light for
years. I don't recall ever mentioning it to anyone until the early 1990s,
when I read a description of ball lightning, how it can glide and make
unusual manoeuvres. I decided that was what we had seen and mentioned it
to my husband and friends. When I was in my 30s, my friend visited from
Arizona, where she then lived. I asked her if she remembered that night in
the car. She did, except for the light. In her memory, we sat in the car
talking in the driving rain until we fell asleep. Now, after another
decade of consideration, I'm no longer sure what I saw was ball lightning
and lean more toward a UFO-type experience or that I am simply
misremembering an event with a rational explanation: a car; a camper. I
have to rule out it was a vehicle for several reasons. First, there was
only one light, not two, although I concede it could have been a car with
one headlight. But I don't remember a car. Second, the only source for a
car would have been campsite 1. From where I sat, site one would have been
at approximately 1 o'clock. I would have been at roughly 7 o'clock. My
memory is of the light coming toward us from about 10 o'clock, out of the
woods. I don't remember seeing campsite 1 occupied. If it was, and this
was a car from that site, why would they drive the long way around the
unpaved, muddy loop in the storm to exit into the parking area? Was it a
person with a lantern? It might have been someone armed with an incredibly
bright light, but I don't remember a person. I've wondered if it was
someone from campsite 1 walking to the toilets. I personally have no
memory of the bathhouse that is shown on the youth group loop detail,
however, a site 1 camper would again be taking a very long route to get to
the toilets, through driving rain on a muddy trail.
I also wonder about the disorientation I felt. I don't know exactly what
time it was when the light appeared, so I don't know if we were missing
time, but something felt wrong. I also wonder why my friend and I never
discussed it, and why I barely recalled the incident until I read the
description of ball lightning years later. I don't remember any other
experiences that could be construed as abductions. Perhaps they were
coming for her? We had a falling out in the late 1990s and no longer are
in touch or I'd ask her if she has had further experiences. Aliens? A
one-headlight car? Another camper? Ball lightning? I don't know what I saw
that night and I never will, I suppose. It's been bothering me so much
recently that I thought I should file a report.

CBS Tower Sighting, Los Angeles, Ca Triangular Craft Attached To CBS Tower
Date: 1987
Ok, I think I wrote this one to you, but it keeps coming to mind, so I'll
report it officially. I think I now have a more correct date. It was after
I was in Canada for the summer and had returned to my home in LA. The year
was 1987. I was visiting a friend in Studio City and was returning home
about midnight, coming down a very steep hill (Carpenter Ave) which ends
at
Ventura Blvd where there is a traffic light. The light was red, so I
stopped. Most of the traffic is on Ventura. Straight across from my
position were the CBS television studios. Their network of antenna and
lights was directly in front of me, less than a hundred yards. I was
daydreaming as usual, but then I did a double take on the lights --
something was different, but I couldn't figure out what. I was very
familiar with these lights because I lived in the neighbourhood and also
took my daughter to and from Carpenter Ave Middle School and passed them
all the time. As I was looking at the lights and trying to figure out what
they had added, was it another antenna or what, suddenly some of the
lights separated from the main framework of lights and antenna and stood
for a moment beside them, just a few feet from the roof of CBS. It was a
vertical triangle of lights, not sure about the colours, but at least one
or two were red. I'm also not sure how many lights there were, maybe
three, not much more and not less. I was so shocked at what I was seeing
that I couldn't think. Then the lights tipped and I could see plainly that
it was a triangular craft. In my position at the light I was maybe 75 feet
away and 50 feet below the craft, for perspective.
Another thing that's odd about my stopping at the light. At that time of
night, at least in those days, there was very little traffic on Ventura
Blvd, and as it is legal to turn right on a red in California (unless
posted), I normally would have slid to a half stop and turned right to go
home. I was sitting still at the light watching all this unfold. Almost
immediately, the craft began to pick up speed, so I somehow came to my
senses and decided to follow it. It was moving not much faster than say 50
mph adjacent to Ventura to my left. A little ways further, not more than a
long block, I would have to turn left onto Colfax Avenue to go home. The
craft which was less than a 100 feet in front of me, turned left over
Colfax and flew on the right side over the houses on Colfax Avenue. It was
now on my right as I sped behind it, watching out my right front window.
We went about two blocks and then it suddenly speeded up and was gone,
just like that. I was shaking and totally flabbergasted at what I had
seen, and what the implications were for it being attached to the CBS
tower. I immediately thought of all the shows on CBS and if there was a
UFO connection (don't laugh), but quickly figured that they probably
weren't affecting programming. (CBS was home of the Roseanne show. Well,
maybe they did, come to think of it. That's a joke.) When you turn off
Ventura onto Colfax, you go over a bridge that goes over the LA River
aqueduct system at that location and the only houses are on the right side
of the street. There was a fairly new townhouse complex on the left, about
half way down the street. Hopefully now this one is out of my system, and
I can write about earlier sightings. Something that one of your
correspondents said really helped me decide that I had to talk about these
events, and that is so that people like me who have been afraid to come
forward will perhaps now with increasing numbers feel brave enough to tell
their stories. Oh, size -- It was bigger than an SUV, maybe the size of a
bus, black in Color, very black. You wouldn't necessarily even see it
unless you spotted it by accident or were looking. I would never even have
noticed it if I hadn't been really familiar with that tower, and if it
hadn't separated. How it was attached to the tower, I couldn't say, but
when it separated, it just
seemed to glide away and then stand still and then very smoothly swing off
vertical into a horizontal position and then glide away. It was one of the
most amazing things I've ever seen.

Hazel Park, Michigan A White Fuzzy Ball/Object
Date: March 27, 2006
Time: 10:15 a.m.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Round
I was outside playing with dog and had a video camera I bought a few days
back. Hi 8 Sony handy cam 990. Camera will say 10:15 pm, but it was 10:15
am. I live in a good landing pattern for metro airport. I was looking
around, looked to the north and saw what looked like a white fuzzy ball
going north between 20-30 thousand feet altitude. I filmed it for 15-20
seconds. I could have got more film but did not think about it. According
to our film, we can tell what it's not, but can't tell what it is. If you
want, we can e-mail the video.
HBCC UFO Research Note: I have requested the footage from the witness;
will hopefully help give a better idea what this looked like.

Marion/Sweetest, Indiana - Again More Eyewitnesses To Strange Orange
Lights
Date: 03/29/06 - 03/30/06
Time: 9:15- 9:45 p.m.
Number of witnesses: 2-3
Number of objects: Many
Shape of objects: Lights
We were driving home on a back country road last night around 9:15pm, I
looked up at the sky through the front windshield and saw two orange
colored lights that were close together, and one other light that was
about a 1/2 mile way from the other two. We were going about 35mph at the
time. I pointed them out to my husband and he saw them also. We passed a
clump of trees and we looked for the lights but they had disappeared. We
got to our apartment complex about 10 minutes later, which was about a
mile away from the sighting; we parked our vehicle and stood outside
talking. My husband and I both glanced up at the same time towards the
southwest end of our complex and saw three brightly colored orange lights
very close together about 20 feet apart from each other. They blinked on
one at a time and stayed lit for about 10 seconds and then completely
blinked off. Then we saw further to the right of where those lights were,
three more lights come on one at a time stay lit for 10 seconds and then
turn off.
They were separated about 1/2 mile from each other and were about 100 feet
from the ground. There was absolutely no sound. We decided we were going
to see where they were heading to so we got into the van and chased these
lights. We headed south down the backcountry roads chasing them. One lit
up to the left of our vehicle, only three lights this time and in the same
sequence as before. It stayed three quarters of a mile ahead at this
point. We continued to follow and saw it light up again this time on the
right side of the vehicle and it seemed to be going about 45mph. It stayed
just barely in front of us as we followed it. Once again only one and the
same sequence of action. The last time we saw it light up there were the
set of three lights, but there were additional lights this time, about two
more and they were a bit ahead of the three we were used to seeing. To us
it seemed as if there was more then one. If asked I can not exactly say,
they were in to many different positions they all stayed about 100 feet
off the ground. We came to a dead end and could not follow them anymore so
we turned around and went back home. The whole chase lasted about an hour
and we ended up about 10 miles from our apartment complex. Tonight we
decided we would check to see if we could see these lights again. I had
seen on websites that others had also seen these lights in/around the same
area. So we went near the area we first saw the lights and parked by a
field. This was around again 9:15pm, we waited for about 25 minutes and
saw nothing but just when we were getting ready to leave, My Husband,
Stepson, and I, saw these lights come on just south of our location. There
were 12 to 13 lights on and the same orange Color as before. Behind these
lights we saw what looked like sparks shooting from behind it. We watched
as it looked to be coming in from an angle and it started to turn more
lights on. I'm not sure how far it was from the ground but it seemed
pretty close. I tried getting a photo of it but it disappeared completely
from there and never reappeared.

Kokomo, Indiana Witness Drives Down From Peru, IN & Observes The Lights
Date: March 30, 2006
Time: Approx: 9:40 - 9:45 p.m.
I talked to the fellow who resides in Peru, Indiana, he hadn't seen
anything in Peru, so he decided to take the 20 minute drive down to
Kokomo, Indiana to see if he might be able to witness the orange colored
objects that have been reported to me here at HBCC UFO Research, and it
appears that the light are continuing to be observed. The gentleman
arrived in Kokomo and had pulled his vehicle off to the side of the road
and started to watch the sky. The fellow mentioned that numerous people
stopped their cars to ask if he was having vehicle problems, which he
wasn't. The witness mentioned that while waiting he saw a bright light
flying in the southern part of the sky, he started filming this bright
round light. At first, it didn't appear to be moving, but eventually he
could see the object making a turn and this is when he was able to see
some blinking lights on the object. At this point, he believed that a
normal aircraft caused the round light. The fellow gets back into his car,
still waiting to see if he might be lucky enough to see the lights
everyone was talking about. I should point out that the witness arrived at
the side of the road in Kokomo at approximately 8:30 - 8:45 p.m.
Here the man sits inside his car, looking all around through the windows,
still hoping he might see something. All of a sudden what he thought was
glare from the passing cars lights, turned out to be a set of lights off
into the west in the distance over the horizon. The witness reports six
lights, which were an amber/orange in Color, like the Color of a flame,
and he said the entire event happened so fast. Matter of fact when he
first spotted the lights, he quickly moved out from inside his car and ran
to the front of the vehicle and it was at this time the lights
disappeared. I asked the witness what his thoughts might be on what these
lights might be. He told me he was sure that this was no aircraft or
flares, or anything else he could think of. Also something to note, when
the lights started to disappear it was like a domino effect.

Franklin, Massachusetts Black Triangular Craft
Date: March 30, 2006
Time: 7:18 p.m.
A gentleman called me up from Franklin, Massachusetts to file a report
over a Black triangle he and he girlfriend had just witnessed. Matter of
fact, after watching the craft move across the sky, the fellow ran in and
called me straight away and gave me some details on what the two people
witnessed.
As they watched the triangular craft travel across the sky, he said it was
totally silent and could see that is was a solid object.
It also appeared to have pinpoint dim lights around the back edge of the
craft. It was travelling from the southwest to the northeast. The couple
were able to watch it for approximately 8 seconds. The speed was compared
to a normal jet.
The witness mentioned that it was low enough that he should have certainly
noticed sound coming from it, if it was like the normal jet traffic that
fly's overhead on a normal bases. The fellow said if he held his hand out
at arms length, and trying to estimate the size, it would have been close
to the size of an American quarter. The weather conditions were completely
clear, not a cloud in the sky.

Inglis, Manitoba Multicoloured Globes Carrying Out Strange Manoeuvres
Date: March 30, 2006
Time: Between 9:30 pm and midnight.
Message: At approximately 2300 hrs central time, our family of four saw
several multicoloured globes of radiating green, red and white lights high
in the western sky. They appeared to be stationary, but sudden high-speed
vertical or horizontal movements could be observed. We observed these
strange globes for approximately 2 hours. They were not airplanes or
helicopters because they would normally disappear after 5 minutes. The
sighting took place 10 km north of Inglis MB between 9:30 pm and midnight
on March 30, 2006. Also all the animals seemed very agitated.

Quakertown, Pennsylvania Three Silver Round Objects
Date: April 2, 2006
Time: 3:05 p.m.
Number of witnesses: 2
Number of objects: 3
Shape of objects: Round
Unbelievable! Just witnessed three silver round objects around the sun! We
(me and my husband) were looking up to check the chimney on our house and
we saw these three objects darting across the sky right in line with the
sun. They would do circles around each other then it seemed liked they
fused together and then would make what looked like an upside down
triangle, they are still there as I write this, our camera wouldn't be
able to capture it due to the fact that it is right in the suns rays and
the only way we could actually see them was to block the rays by standing
and looking in the shadow of our chimney. I have never seen anything like
this before, they looked like toys playing and spinning around each other
then collide and separate and make this triangle formation, they were WAY
up there. I also seen to the right of them a long thin silver shaped
object that just hovered there and never moved. Wish I could send
pictures, but I would swear this on a stack of bibles and take a lie
detector test!
