Hello All
I have asked this question a few times, but I have not recieved any
response, providing any answer either Yes or No!.
QUESTION : Can TSTHOST be configured to operate with BPQ408a and Baycom, if
it is possible I would be grateful for any information on how to proceed.
I am using TSTHost 1.43b with TFPCX at the moment, with 2 Baycom modems 1
on 6Metres and 1 on 70cms, I have found very little benefit from TFPCX &
Baycom in this system, as both ports are independent of each other, I have
not been able to provide a means of allowing a connection on 6M to access
stations on 70cms, unless they are actually connected on the 70cms port, or
70cms connections cannot access the 6M ports, this is a failing which I
find is becoming more annoying as time passes.
BPQ with its Nodes facility and cross port connections would suit me much
better, I like TSTHOST and would be a little peeved if I have to discard
such a nice piece of software, which I have become very used to operating
for quite some time.
I have considered using Winpack6.42 but a 4mb 386sx25 is probably a little
under powered for the Winpack program and 2 Baycom modems.
I would much prefer to remain using TSTHOST, your assistance would be much
appreciated.
