This adress is incorrect. The correct one is ://www.naf.cz/arachne
So : "naF" and not "naT".
This beeing said, it's a nice browser looking a bit like Grafic Packet but
with higher quality icons. It can display only 256 colours but up to
1024/768 pixels (if your display card is VESA2 compatible).
Arachne is as freeware as Netscape or Internet Explorer and has no
limitations of any kind to persuade you to buy a "more complete" version.
For those of you "old enough" in computing to have known GEOWORKS, it's of
the same aspect and use, with plenty of accessories and plug-ins.
Future versions will support Hercules and CGA video cards (!!!), HTML 4.0
and Java.
I'm NOT INTENDED to released this programm on packet radio, beeing to
heavy (in my opinion and the generaly admitted one) for the net : 900 K.
You should find another version of this software developped by CALDERA on
its web site. But I don't still have the URL. On this site, you could also
find the freeware version (or so) of Novell Dos. This one works very well
with Windows 3.x, is truly and as perfectly multitasking as OS2 (better
then WIN95, so. HI). Something DOS can't do. It performs far better then
DOS, particularly in memory management.
