Hi all,
I just upgraded my old 486DX33 with DOS/WIN3.1 to a 233MMX with WIN95. In
order to get my packetstation on air as fast as possible I just copied the
full directory from the 486 to the pentium. At first all seemed to work
100%. the CRON file was executed as planned and all servers that were
called ran OK. Then one morning I found the PC crashed with the black
DOSscreen showing c:\7pnou
It seemed that there was some 7+ downloaded and saved to 7pdata.fwd and
when the 7pnou server executed 7plus the computer came to a standstill.
I later found out that 7plus.exe runs without a problem. 7pnou works like
it should (files ARE extracted and a resultmessage IS generated) but fails
to return to TSTHost afterwards.
Has anyone else seen this problem and is it curable??
All suggestions welcome... and YES I will upgrade to WINTSThost (but I
still have a lot of work to do on the other software first...) Untill then
it's TSTH 1.43... But I still want the automatic 7+ to work again.. :-)
Thanks,
73, CUL,
Maurice
