Hi Ian and readers,
Neat tongue-in-cheek reply! Now how'd I guess it's that lazy man's
Winpack that screws up the TO and subject fields? There's no substitute
for a brain, human or otherwise. (Taylons excluded of course.)
I have no idea what happened to the Taylons or their adversaries, once I
determined the show was going nowhere I watched only a few episodes
sporadically (when nothing better to do) and soon quit altogether long
before it was cancelled. Lousy plot, lousy writers, too many stolen from
other sources and spliced together haphazardly in some sort of tape loop.
As for "Don" or whatever that critter was I can only say it was the
classic poofter from outer space! FEMALE? Not by a long shot, women
should be so effeminate. Since the Taylons were some sort of etherial
beings taking on "humanoid" form they must have done their studies in San
Fransisco's Castro or New York's Greenwich Village or maybe even London's
Soho and thought Earthers were all like that. Then too maybe since they
were asexual to begin with they decided on a "unisex" form for political
correctness. Either way they never got it right. (;->)
Poor Gene, must be spinning in his grave over some of the crud "they"
pinned his name to. Now Majel Barrett-Roddenberry is one heck of a
businesswoman and not bad as an actress either, but somehow I wonder how
she managed to let something like that escape on the planet.
