Hi Ian and readers,

Not to worry, TREK has been a catch all for general sci-fi discussion for
quite some time. (;->)

Now why would "someone from Nwe Jersey" explain that Freya was a man when
she was a mythological Norse godess? Yeah guy, for once you got it right.
(;->)

Now if you want to see mythological screwups on a massive scale, try
watching that Hercules TV bit starring Kevin Sorbo. Frankly I can't
figure out in which show he's worse, that or Andromeda. No, I haven't
watched more than the first few episodes of Roddenberry's thing about the
Taylons either, the production is even worse. Oh don't mind me, Gene was
a good writer but little translated well to the screen as is the case
with most.

Yeah, my nickname is Morris, I'm a very finicky cat. (meow)

Oh, I find the technobabble quite amusing. Yes, again you got it right,
on the ST scripts it's replaced by a single word "tech" for brevity. The
babble is rather a database they draw from and insert bits where
appropriate. Sometimes it's inappropriate which is even more amusing.
What the heck is a "tachion" and what does it have to do with a "warp
shell"? (;->)

One final thought, you DID spell it "Nwe Jersey". (big grin)
