Hi Sten and Trekkies,

Spam? Yeah, I guess so considering your message was cryptic at best. That
reminds me, be careful thet the government of your host country/planet
won't take your messages to use crypts and cyphers which are illegal on
Amateur Radio. Hmmm, that was a neat idea using social engineering
methods to convince the director (a ham) of the Aricebo PR radiotelescope
to use the 440Mc radar mapping system to link to the home planet using
ordinary packet radio. Really slipped one by them!

Oh, one other thing, please don't refer to our host planet as "Sol" when
it's proper name is Earth. When it comes time to beam some more
"refrigerators" here there may be a problem when the appear on the
surface of the planet's sun.

Oh, one last thing. We no longer have need to disguise ourselves as
common objects since we may now employ one or both of two better methods.
You may return to the home planet for "holiday" and be surgically altered
to look like whatever being you like even if you like the Ferengi and
Klingon women consider Earthers to be uglier than Denebian worms. If you
prefer to live in surroundings more familiar than their primitive
dwellings you may now employ the latest home version of that well known
Romulan cloaking device. Just make sure you have a backup antimatter
reactor set to kick in at the slightest hint of primary reactor trouble
or you'll find yourself in what has become known as "Picard's
Predicament", something we're all familiar with.

BTW, if you want a good laugh, tap into your local satellite link and
check out The Discovery Channel. Lately this guy Brian Gumball has been
going on about those worn out stories of UFO crashes in the country known
as New Mexico and another called Pennsylvania, a settlement cakked
Kecksburg or something. We won't tell them how we protect our interests
on this planet from foreign invaders, now will we? (;->)
