In better days when I had radio access to BBSs and ran TPK I remember
either an option or an add on to TPK and others which rejected text
messages over a certain size.
They came about as a result of the self - appointed 'packet police' in the
mid to late 90s who wantet to stop people 'clogging up the mnetwork'.
Having got their way with 7Plus they turned to plain text; trying to put a
limit of 15 k on a text mwssage. Later, they had the excitement of trying
to ban HTML, after Roger added it to Winpack.

I said in a previous message that I decided after a rather long bull, to
try to keep to 1.5K. Even pruning messages with redundant text. With
spaces, that is an A4 page in a letter. Anything more is usually boredom.

Does anyone remember this ? Is their an add on for Winpack ? TNX in
advance
