Hello TPK users,
I've been trying to get MAKELIST.EXE by Roger G4IDE (SK) to
work, but without success. The programme runs, and gives a `Process finished'
message after it ends, but does not add any message headers to the BBSNAME.LST
file.
Maybe the MAKELIST.TEM file is still not quite right, but the programme does
now recognise the captured list of message headers using ALT S <filename>, as
described in the .DOC file OK, whereas it didn't when I first started. I found
that if I used a shortened file name for the captured list, e.g. TGB for VK2TGB,
a TGB.LST file was produced of zero bytes length.

The local BBSs here use FBB 7.00g AB1FHMRXS. Not sure if the last group of
letters is significant. The is my template file:-

VK2WI,VK2TGB
Msg# TSLD Dim To @ BBS From Date/Time Title (LC-choice: *)
NNNNN S LLLLL TTTTT AAAAA FFFFF MMDD XXXXX

MAKELIST.DOC says that the .TEM file contains some information on setting up
a template file. The was no info in the .TEM file in the 7+ distribution from
Ian G0TEZ. So if anyone has some info on this, could you please put out on
packet radio.

I wonder if anyone has got MAKELIST working from the 7+ files that Ian G0TEZ
put out on packet recently?

Merry Cricket, Ho Ho Ho
