G0OSWTPK 1.82 Msg N§:5600 Date:19-02-2004 Time:22:35Z

Hi. It has been pointed out to me that there is a slight problem with my
program. This only affects those who do not have TPK installed in the
default directory C:\TPK with all the other directories under it. My
program is coded to look for TPK and the LISTS directory in this location.
If your TPK is using the standard directory structure, then there is no
problem.

I have fixed this so that you can create an INI file that tells the program
where to find TPK and it's lists. This is version 1.10.

If you have not already downloaded BUILDLST.ZIP, download BLDLST11.ZIP
instead - this is the "fixed" version, with instructions on how to set up
for a non-standard directory structure or where you are using a different
drive to C: It is about 2K larger.

If you have already downloaded BUILDLST.ZIP and are getting the error
message "Unable to open CONFIG.TPK", then you will need the fixed version.
If you are not getting an error message and your message folder names
appear, you are OK.

To get the upgrade, send /REQFIL BLDLST11.ZIP.

You can also use the following workaround with version 1.00:

a. Make a temporary directory C:\TPK, and copy CONFIG.TPK into it.
b. Under this, make a directory LISTS.
c. Copy the contents of your existing LISTS directory into this one.
d. Under this, make BBSNAME and a MSG_PRIV directories.
(Where BBSNAME is the name of your BBS, as in GB7SOU).
e. Copy the message files from your usual BBSNAME and MSG_PRIV directories
to these directories (or at least the one you need rebuilding).
f. Run BUILDLST. You can run it from any directory and it does not matter
what directory you are in at the time.
g. When the list has been rebuild, copy the resulting .LST and .NUM files
for the rebuilt list, and also the RXMSG.TPK file if present.
(If you rebuilt MSG_PRIV, TXMSG.TPK will have been deleted, and must be
deleted from your normal working LISTS directory).
