But there _were_ help bulletins for TPK when people were learning how to use it
when it came into general use in the early 90's.
I used to use it and was delighted with it at the time (early-mid 90's).
But then in the mid-90's I tried T4 and was pleasantly surprised to find that I
could now do a number of different things simultaneously and also could sort
mail into various topics (as compared to TPK only doing one thing at a time,
and dumping all the bulletins into one huge heap which I then had to scroll
through).
I'm surprised that anyone still uses TPK nowadays - it was utterly brilliant in
its day and introduced the concepts of compressed user mail transfer and
automated mail handling, but really has been well superceded now. There are
still one or two TPK users locally but most are either T4, NBF or Winpack.
See http://www.qsl.net/zl3ai for my T4 Install program. T4 runs happily on
XTs with mono screens through to the latest machines, but of course on
Windows computers NBF is the first choice as T4 is basically a DOS program.
