Hi Gerard, and Thanks for the best ever PacKet program.
I hav run TPK in a couple of years now, tried to switch to WinPack
without any sucess. I run an PC 80386DX40 under Win3.11.
I am trying to write an packet programm, as learning C++, with your
programm as an model. I run it on top of BPQ only. First I will try
to get FBB unpronto messages in the back ground and mailing traffic.
The user just read mail and make manual connect and so on. Just now I
can only monitor the traffic and get the <call>.LST file as you do in
TPK. I'n planing allso my program will be compatible with TPK server
handling so servers written for TPK will run under my program sa well.
Now to the point.
I have found a couple of buggs in the bult-in-Editor.
Bugg #1:
The cursor gets lost in the line when Insert/Owerwrite is
toggled on and off in same line while text editing.
Bugg #2:
Read in a file while owrewritemode. The cursor Never find him
self again.
Bugg #3:
While deleting tabbs "CHAR$(9)" in the beginning of the line,
and the line is more tan 80 chars long. Then the line is not
cleared out so I can't se the real lineend.
Bugg #4:
When in connect and after an 'F9' break, the timers dont resets
and when new connect the interrupted forvarding begin, to wrong
address.
And this maybee not is a bugg.
I dont like that Justifying the beginning if line while
writing like this.
And a which for the next, keep the left margin for next line
if there is one, like this text.
I want to have an 'file recovery utility' so there a chance to
save as muthc as possibly when the *.NUM and *.LST files gone
coruptded. Dont for get to do an check in the \LISTS\ directory
so all files are there, and use the info if file is missin in the
*.LST.
