VA3DG/TPK 1.83b Msg #:4745 Date:09-09-97 Time:16:00Z

Hello Fellow TPK'ers:

I am currently running TPK 182b. The problem I'm encountering is
the automatic downloading of UNsolicited 7+ files/progs. This has been
occurring over the past month. One such file was inadvertently executed and
presto, my ENGLISH.LNG file was corrupted. Fortunately, I had a back up
file on a floppy and was able to salvage all my configurations.
I have placed the line: BR RJMSG STRING 7+ in my config.tpk file, to no
avail. I also run the server TPK7, as I quite often exchange files/progs.
with local TPK users, in the 7+ format, so I don't want to cease using this
server.
If anybody has found or knows of a solution to this problem, I wo
uld appreciate hearing from you, other than the obvious one of disabling
the TPK7 server.
Thanks to all who may read this Help request and offer some suggestions.
Cheers.....
de Darrell

P.S. It would be nice if other packeteers would stop sending out these
unsolicited messages.
