I've read this odd pair of msgs and am slightly puzzled, I quote:

First, What's all this about CTRL+U, I just use 'K'?
Secondly, I've never had to list msgs with a pencil and paper, then delete
them manually from their respecrive directories.
As for his comment about Winpack, I have tried and discarded it, so I don't
know where it puts it's msgs. As it derives a lot from TPK, I should think
it uses similar msg storage and gets similar problems, if any.
