I had heaps of trouble trying to get 1.83 and 1.83a running with much
pulling of hair and gnashing of false teeth. It wouldn't tag or exclude any
bulletins and the # in the address was dropped out. After several helpfull
messages from VK land, it suddenly went Ok. I'm not sure why though but for
what it's worth here's a copy of the relevant lines from my CONFIG.TPK.
BTW, I ended up installing 1.83a from a floppy, over 1.82 using DOS
commands, NOT with XTGOLD or any other of those file managers!!!! This may
have made the difference?

I've marked the only lines added to the old file.
The last two lines, I consider to be the most important part of 1.83a and
for this, I humbly thank Gerrard. Pity SYSOPS dont make use of it.
You'll have to alter some relevant lines in the ENGLISH.LNG or FRANCAIS.LNG
files to customise your details, dont use the old .LNG files, there are
extra lines in the new one for 1.83.
I hope this is of help to anybody still having hiccups with 1.83a. Please
dont ask me for any technical help as it was more fluke than expertise that
got it going. I cant comment on the password section so please dont ask.
