sry, that i must say, it's not a feature of tnt. this
is done by the tnc. it works also with gp or sp.
sp also inserts the correct date, time and call in
the logfile. tnt doesn't.
it's important that the correct entry is made in
the file tnt_downfile tnt.dwn with u2, for example
u2 tnc offline, leave msg, //q to quit

Hi All,
I just discovered a great feature that TNT1.8 has, and, as far as
I know, no other packet program has. When using the TF2.7b
eprom TNT will put the TF eprom into terminal mode, and provides
a simple PMS after exiting. Then, when you next fire up TNT, the
messages are auto displayed. When someone connects and your
computer is offline, they are informed and invited to leave a mssge
and quit with //q.
Nifty eh?
