sorry for my late answer, but today i got a bulk of
mails, all over one week old.

one question i receive sometimes.

q: is it possible to telnet to tnt ?
a: yes
you have to open a port with the following command
:socket axspec loopback:2222
this can either be done from the window or
in the configuration-file itself.
where 2222 is an example of an portnumber.
if your_computer is connected to lan, then you
can do from every other computer of the lan a
telnet your_computer 2222
and also you can on your_computer a
telnet loopback 2222
and use the features of a xterminal or wherever
you did start the telnet-session.
also you have to modify the file netpass.tnt
as described in the documentation.

important information:
connecting over a non-ham-network is not allowed
in austria due to the new law for amateur radio.

best regards from vienna
