hi all friends ! 


tnt is a terminal packet radio programm.
you need a serial connection to a tnc with hostmode.
for example a tnc2 running thefirm. 
it's also possible to communicate with a kiss-tnc.
you have to run tfkiss as daemon. 

tnt, was written by mark wahl, DL4YBG

this is version 1.6 with several patches from 
a lot of people. thanks to all of them, who improved 
useability. special thanks to Matthias Hensler from 
aachen/dl. he merged a lot of this patches and did
make usefull modifications. for details see the 
readme and changes files. 
best benefit: a nice status line.

tnt 1.6 can be compiled and is runnable under
redhat und suse linux and solaris. 


the upload consists of 15 parts of 7plus files, 
each about 33k5 long.  after decoding you get 
a gnu-ziped tar-archive file. ( tnt-16.tgz ) 
the upload is done to dptnt @ eu
