Or run KISSOFF.EXE or one of the quadrillions of other KISS exiting programs.
If you said which software your friend was using then we (the wise ones) could
suggest scripts for that software that will do the job.

I can't remember if the PicoPiacket uses a battery or not. If it does, remove 
the battery for a few minutes. Or try a full and total reset.
