Hi Ray,
I am using the MFJ1270b in the ordinary as provided, KISS mode on the BBS
and have noticed the problems you mention.
I don't have the reversion to ordinary mode problem with power
down,because
my whole shack is 12 volt powered from a fairly hefty battery supply which
is float charged.
I would like to obtain a copy of the kiss only emproms software if you
knew
of any source for the images. I could then update and hopefully remove the
collision problem which can get quite annoying.
