Hi Steve,

I am using a BAYCOM USCC ISA slot card (two 1k2 modems), a couple of
MFJ1270B TNC2 and a PK-88.

I have a MFJ1278B that isn't getting much use presently as it has a habit
of crashing if left running all day. When it crashes it locks the PTT on.
Also the MFJ1270B can lock the PTT on, so I have external 555 timers to
prevent the transmitter from staying on too long & burning out.
The MFJ TNCs are supposed to have watchdog timers, but the timer isn't in
the most effective part of the circuit. The timer is placed before the
PACTOR mode PTT switching circuit that's implicated in the PTT locking on
problem when the TNC crashes.

I am testing out a KPC9612 Plus three port for a friend.

My local BBS station (ZL1AB) uses three Tiny 2 TNCs.

I have a project to built a simple 1200 baud modem equivalent to the
BAYCOM serial port modem, but using a XR2211 PLL IC & 566 Oscillator IC,
but I haven't made it operate properly yet.
