Radioamator and telecommunication specialist meeting
In 4-5 September 2004 the first radioamator meeting will take place in the
city of Pecica, area Arad, organized by the Pupils YO2KBB Radioamator club
and by the A.S.Telecom Pecica YO2KQD Radioamator club, with the support of
the Local Council of Pecica.
At this meeting foreigners are also invited.
Pecica was granted the rang of city in the year 2004 in 22 April, it has
about 13000 habitants. The City of Pecica is situated at 25 km from the
western country border of Romania (KN06MD).
The meeting will take place in the new Sport Hall, that functions since this
year, in which are about 40 places for accommodation, spaces for shopping
and a place for conference.
The participants that arrive on the date of 3 or 4 September have the
opportunity of being accommodated for free in the Sport Hall. The parking
space is secured. Tents and cars are in safety.
On the 4 September at 10:00 o clock in the course of the event is foreseen
the presentation of:
- the theoretical and practical realizations in the radio communication area
- the experiments in the radioamator transmitions area EME or an artificial
satellite and have the weather conditions regarding propagation
- data and information transfer via Internet and wireless
- data transfer and connections through radio packet
- Internet-radio via Echolink
- the construction of radio equipments
- QSL exposition
- photo exposition about pecican radioamators activities and about the city
of Pecica
- at 15:00 a pot cooking contest and dinner will take place
Free discussions and the exchange of components and equipments for
radioamators will take place on the date of 5 September 2004, saturday
