Hello to anyone having problems with installing the Linksys Wireless
Adaptor.
Before installing it, the instructions say to run the CD Rom Program
that installs and sets it up on your computer. At the end and
this is important <2> choices. <1> Restart now ... and install
the adaptor ... "or" <2> Restart later, after installing the adaptor
making sure in both instances the CD rom is removed from the drive.
I don't know how many times, I used option <1> removing the CD rom
from the drive and restarting, only to find....no go. In fact
I am looking now for the other adapter I had to see if this was
the problem with this one. Anyhow, via experimentation, I used
Option <2> restaring much later, allowing all to be recognized by
the system, contary to their instructions, of using Option 1 or 2.
Always use Option 2.
I hope this helps someone somewhere. Also some stores now are
asking like CDN$ 60 .... I found a place offering them for CDN$ 19.00
Have a good day...
