Hi Ian G0TEZ ... I have been following along with interest on your
fellow patient, in hospital to his store close to you and his
connection to JLB. It reminds me of the Rogers connection
over here my neighbour had, when radio was a dream starting,
and he and others <my neighbour one of them> were practicing
with broadcast radio getting "9RB" on the air, and the logbook
I read of my neighbour "9HC" ...but then he died in 1980s
and they cleanout his basement and with it, went a lot of history
mostlikely landfill somewhere.
When you mention the small radio store, it might be possible to
trace back thru records and old tax rolls to get the store and
owner, and then you would be sure....maybe?
Anyhow ,it is interesting, and I liked M1YBT's additon too,
so perhaps others maybe located to bring your puzzle together.
Good Luck
Pete VE3WBZ
