Well thanks for that. For a moment I thought I must be the only person who
finds that they last seemingly forever, use a fraction of the
elastictrickey of incandescant bulbs and apart from the slow startup are
almost without fault.

Still it does seem that the people who report the problems are the ones
you'd expect to have problems. You know the type, those where everyone else
in the world is out of step with them!
