Hi anyone have the dimensions?
I picked up some of the parts of this beam & it
tuned up & works ok as a dipole with only 2 adjustments..
DIPOLE
1/2 of Dipole
TRAPS
Adjust for 10M L&C 15M L&C
10&15m __________________ Adjust for
------¿__________________ ³ ________ 20m

2" Dia Tubing
<-- 1/4 wave @ 10m -->
<---------- 1/4 wave @ 15m ------------>
<--------- Electrical 1/4 wave @ 20m ------------------->
NO BALUN
The earthy side of the coax was strapped to the boom, this is a poor solution
instead of a balun, so 3M of coax as a choke at the dipole makes it much better
on 20m on the dipole tests.
2 ELEMENT
But adding the reflector screws up the match by I guess lowering the Z, but you
still see the band resonances SWR dips OK, but no where near 1:1 especially on
20m. ³

There was no boom so all dimensions are a guess at the moment. Trying the old
balun strap did not help either.
3 ELEMENT
My aim is actually to swap the 300W max dipole on an old 3 element Molsey TH33?
tribander for the QRO dipole for /P use.

But so far the SWR is still silly.
Any info on how to make it work please?
Why don't U send an interesting bul?
