Hi Eric and others interested in the subject.
Eric asked me to search the internet for possible answers to this problem.
I have just snail-mailed him a print out of a possible answer.
I have downloaded several 7 plus pix without having this problem. The
differences in set up between Eric and I are:- I am using Win95 and
Winpack V6.51.
Perhaps the question should be: what causes Service Profile to be damaged
in the first place? It is doubtful if it is caused by the sender because
I received the same picture as Eric with no problems, albeit from a
different BBS.
It's over to the experts.
