Hi All and thanks for reading.

Most of our local repeaters have now been forced to use sub tone access
due to the problems with increasing interference from commercial services.

As a service to local amateurs the Healesville Amateur Radio Group is
planning on providing a subtone generator that can be fitted to
the many older radios that are in service.

My question is, Do you have a circuit for a reliable sub tone generator
that you would care to share? The club will build up a quantity of these
devices for use by members as a club project but we would like to ensure
that we are using something state of the art and if possible multi tone.

A quick search of the internet only brought up the usual 555 based devices
but I am sure there must be better around.

We are happy to receive 7+ or ascii circuits or email to
vk3fbd@harg.org.au.
