I remember that one.

Last issues I saw (early 70's ?) where orange in colour and were a smaller
footprint than the current magazine but full of useful info and
projects - a stark comparison to RadComic.

SPRAT is a real joy to read from the G-QRP club.

I have the cd-rom off all the issue and I even enjoy reaading the old
reports of other peoples activity, trials and tribulations of being
active etc even if they are donkey's years old !

Real people reporting their real activities !

Something that no one seems to do these days.

Most new amateurs have probably never even heard any dx let alone
worked it. All they do is waste time boasting about pathetic QSO's
with southern europe on G5RV's.

These people aren't radio amateurs - they're just amateur bands users
(cb'ers).

Pah!
