dear friends, why for all wonder of this globe do you make life so difficult?
Daleta Loop = fantastic antenna? D'accord, I even use one!
Triangle with the lower corner down wards (because I had opportunity to
install it between a pine tree and my antenna pipe, being erected on top of
the roof of the family home) and FED BY OPEN WIRE FEEDER (In German called a
Chicken ladder, hope that a certain German teacher will not spread his red
ink over me again, :-) )
AND THAT IS IT.. No problems with a Balun 1:2, no limits to the different
bands. Triangel = 20 Meter, feederline 2x 10 Meters.
Look to Mmana or EZNEC and you will know what I mean.
I hate coax, even my (homebrew) g4zu beam is fed by Open Wire Feeder.
ATU a homebrew Z-Match, the best and the simplest ATU I ever have build up.
So what??
Be curious, try it and you will see..
Merry Xmas
Klaus, voice of reason
