This is only valid in the special case of a rectangular triangle. On other
triangles things get a little bit more complex. The complete formula is :
c^2 = a^2 + b^2 - 2 *a*b*cos(d)
(a, b: shorter sides, c: longest side, d: angle between the shorter sides)
For d=90 deg. is cos(90)=0 and Phytagoras comes out.
