Hello

"Ghosting" Drives.

If you have all "Seagate" Drives , you can use their
programme :

Diskwizard 2003.

Besides a lot of other options ( including 3 programmes to
check your drive for future failures)
You can copy a disk.
but I use the option : Install a new drive.
I have a 80 G disk in the computer and add a 40 g drive as
slave when saving data for a backup. I select the option :
Make new disk bootable to replace existing drive. For a set
of about 12G Files it takes about 2 1/2
hours. - Then of course I do not replace the Drives , but
have all files copied and bootable ready on my 40G drive.
So either by a second Hdd and leave it in permanently as
slave, just swap them when needed, or take it out to store
it safely.

I tested it with some other drives , but it does only work
for "SEAGATE"
HDDs Master and slave.

www.seagate.com , about 14.8 Mb size. " Diskwizard 2003"

May the above be of any help.
