For several years I fed a 75 meter double extended zepp on 6 and
2m meters. 95 meters long center fed with open wire line. I used
center linked tuners made for the band.

The main part of the tuner was a coil tuned to the operating
frequency. Either center tap on the coil and a single capacitor
or no center tap on the coil and a balanced capacitor. I tapped
the feed line on that coil were it tuned to match. I fed the
coil through a variable coupling link. Exactly the same circuit
as the classic link coupled 160 meter tuner, just smaller parts.

The long wire antenna has lots of lobes and nulls, but has quite
usable gain in the lobes. I could occasionally work across Lake
Michigan from central Iowa on 2m CW.
