Would we be here now but for a bit of good old pollution???
A silly question, but read on and have a little think.
Ralph's alternative theory of global warming.
Right many many years ago the world had very little
pollution it was nice and warm, full of nice plants and
whacking great lizards, they were cold blooded and most were
vegi's and those that did not drive CV2's ate the ones that
did. Any way they all relied on it being nice n warm, they
charged about the place jumping on anything smaller and
generally ruling the world.
Then along comes this great big lump of rock, doing about
20,000 mph and gives our world a reet good crack.
Up in't air goes millions of tons of smoke soot dust bits of
rock and no doubt a good few lizards, Pollution lots of it,
this stops the suns rays the Earth cools the plants die and
so do our friends the lizards.
After some time all this clag falls back to Earth and this
time out of the primeval swamp crawls man he does'nt like
being wet much "nothing as changed there" so stays out
longer and longer till he loses the gills and gets lungs, he
also learns to walk upright something that anyone with a bad
back will tell you was not the brightest of ideas.
Now man soon learns to light fires "pyromaniacs have been
with us from the beginning of mans life on Earth" He builds
factory's, invents steam engines and generally cause's a lot
of pollution this starts to stop the suns rays again and the
Earth starts to cool.
But man is made of sterner stuff and is warm blooded to boot
what's more he cleans up is act"this makes me happy as I can
now see the lamp post I walked into in the 60's" anyway
pollution levels drop the Earth starts to get the rays again
and starts to warm up.
H'a says the chap in charge tell the motorists its their fault
we can make a bit of brass out of this.
Which brings up more or less up to date.
So to recap,
1 but for pollution the Lizards would have carry'ed on
jumping up and down on man and he would have had to keep is
gills and stay in the swamp.
2 pollution cause's the Earth to cool not warm up.
3 the poor old motorist is helping the World to cool down
not warm up.
Sorry for typo's and so on.
I am trying to get NASA to include a L.S.D.
"Lizard Scale Detector" as one of their payloads, by counting
the number of Lizard Scale's still in orbit we can prove or
disprove my alternative theory.
You know it makes sense :)
