The danger of dying from radiation from nuclear waste is but a fraction of
the likelihood of dying by motor accident.In the last 20 years in my state
alone we have lost about 4000 citizens in crashes plus many more with
severe injuries. Add the other states to this figure and you have more
dead than in the worst nuclear accident there is ever likely to be. But we
accept this toll with scarcely a thought.
