Because of out water shortage the State Premier is proposing a water
desalination plant. However the power required is such that a new power
station is required.

Well, this has the greenies in a right tizz. They refused to allow a new dam
to be built and now they are complaining about both a coal fired power station
or a nuclear power station. The Premier has called for a discussion on a
nuclear power station, which I believe is code for he can't see any other
solution.

The Premier has been an avid greeny for years but obviously he is now up
against it.

Other than chaining the nations greenies to pedal generators no one else has
come up with a solution. The greenies are insisting on a renewable energy
solution.

Another solution is to move Sydney somewhere else. Not a joke !

My solution is a larger desalination plant designed to stop and start and
cover the coastline of NSW, about 1000 miles, with wind generators.
Also cover an area of NSW with solar cells.

However probably the only viable solution is a nuclear plant.

When last seen the Premier was out the back of Parliament house doing a rain
dance !!
